Induction day! We call at 4 pm to see if we can come in to get things started. I really don't want to get pushed back!

What size is baby? A pumpkin and that's about right. I'm huge!!
Upcoming appointments? Wednesday for my weekly check up and cervix check. Please let there be progress.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Everything is done, we are SO ready for this baby to arrive. My mom flies in on Wednesday, I'll be more than happy if I go into labor that night! Maybe my Dr will tell me I need to be admitted when I go Wednesday. Wishful thinking since there's no signs of labor starting anytime soon and my pregnancy has been pretty much perfect.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Sciatic pain came out of no where this weekend and holy mother it hurts! It definitely makes me have the lovely pregnancy waddle down pack! I was feeling pretty good, up until this past week.
GTKY: Now that the end is near for the rest of us, what's one thing we are looking forward to? And for the mommas who already have their LO's what's one thing you are happy you can do again? I can't wait to have a drink, not just sips, an actually whole bottle of beer or margarita! And mostly I can't wait to just feel like myself again. Don't get me wrong, I loved being pregnant, but 10 months is long enough. I enjoyed the experience for sure.

Upcoming appointments? Wednesday for a cervical check (please let there be some dilation) and I'd assume to plan an induction date.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Back pain is back... I assume just a positional thing. But I've figured out how to manage it for the most part, so we're good to go there.
OH.. and at 39 +6 I figured out what it was that makes me have heartburn every time, without fail. lol... a little late to the game here. But I noticed I'd get heartburn with sweets, spicy and some other things... but not every time I ate them. Yesterday, I figured out what the common denominator was with each time I had heartburn.... soda. I guess the carbonation plus the trigger items got me. Oh well... guess I'll give up soda for a week or so

You guys know, I was SUPER excited about wine again... and I still am (we went and bought a couple of nice bottles over the weekend to celebrate some of the wins once she's here)... but anyway, now, I think things have shifted and I'm most excited to hold her, and babywear with her, and take her to events with us... even if it's not the easiest... I'm so excited about all of that

What size is baby?
A chopped log of firewood, according to Baby Sizer ... This is a problem for two reasons: 1. My dad's logs of firewood are normally a LOT bigger than a baby. 2. The idea of wood splinters does not help!

Weekly check-up Wednesday. Still going to decline an internal ... thinking I'll wait til after my due date.

We're all sharing the same cold in our house ... I cleaned and sanitized nearly everything in our house yesterday, but today I feel even worse. UGH.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
I'm really looking forward to the Chinese food we're picking up for lunch today. Hoping the spicy chicken will help clear my stuffy head!

I am looking forward to being able to move without pain, roll over in bed get on the floor with my toddler etc.

- Aggitated that my milk never really came in... I can only pump about 30ml a day but when he nurses, even for a few minutes or just to latch on, I still have him do so for stimulation and pray more comes in!

- I'm still eating M&Ms like crazy lol

What size is baby? Hopefully weighing in today to see if she gained but her cheeks look fuller so thats a plus!
Upcoming appointments? Going to check on my incision (again) today. Its still weepy but its all clean liquid so hopefully it dries up soon.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm still sore. I just want to feel like myself again. And to poop like a regular person.... it's still so hard! haha.

Honestly I'm still waiting for the "stuff I can do again". I've been on antibiotics so I haven't drank wine. My body is still super achy and Abigail is up all night so sleeping is not the most fulfilling. And I'm on "lock down" culturally I'm not allowed to leave to house (except to go to the dr!)
