how big is baby? Asparagus

symptoms/appointments/happenings this week? I've been having allergies/sinus issues for a few weeks, but yesterday it turned to a full blown cold. OB appointment on Tuesday.

We have a glider, pack N play and some clothes....I have another shower on Saturday, after that I plan to make a list of what else we need to survive.

symptoms/appointments/happenings this week? midwife and ultrasound appointment tomorrow. thinking baby is head down but it will be nice to confirm. baby seems to be moving positions a lot still though.
rants/raves/questions? rant- one of my employees called me at 6am this morning for what I deem as a non-emergency. It's hard enough to sleep now I don't need people waking me up at crazy hours! so after that, I was up, and I sooo wanted to sleep in. raves- I figured out how to get 3 kids in my back seat! it's tight but it will work for those rare times I have all three. combi coccoro RF behind the driver for baby, graco nautilus FF with the seatbelt positioner behind the passenger, all I have to do is adjust the headrest height for DD1 vs DD2, and I stuck a bubblebum in the middle seat for DD1 if I have all three. now just need to figure out DH's and MIL's cars, which should be a little easier since mine is the smallest. DH thinks he wants the infant carrier in his car, so we will probably get a britax b-safe since we already have the b-agile stroller.
gtky: baby gear. have you got it all? got nothing? what's still on your list that is "essential" before baby arrives? obviously on my mind lately! we walked through BRU yesterday and I realized how much we actually don't have or need replacements. diaper pail, hi chair, diapers, bibs, bottles, nursery monitor, bath sling...i'm going to start buying in small amounts to ensure we get everything in time. the high chair isn't essential right away of course but it is nice to be able to put baby at the table when we eat dinner together. I also need to decide if I want to pay for a breastpump, insurance only covers the Ameda PY, which is okay, the only thing I really like about it is how lightweight it is though, so I need to figure out if I want to pay for a medela or a spectra and maybe just have the ameda as a back up.

Symptoms/appointments/happenings this week? My two week breastfeeding basics class starts tomorrow. Oh yeah, and my boss is off for the next week and a half, so guess who gets to keep the pharmacy together in her absence (including taking care of our cleanroom certification tomorrow)? That's right, the almost-eight months pregnant girl. Sigh.

GTKY: Baby gear. Have you got it all? Got nothing? What's still on your list that is "essential" before baby arrives? I still have one more baby shower to go (two weeks from today), so I'm holding out hope that I get my baby monitor, bottles/nipples, and more crib sheets, otherwise I'll have to go get them myself. Need to look into which breast pump our insurance will cover so I can get that taken care of as well.

We still have to put together the crib and we have to buy the video monitor and a few small things like the crib skirt and probably a few more outfits but nothing major. Most of what we need for baby, we all ready bought or had from our two boys. I feel like we're pretty prepared, I even started washing baby clothes today

how big is baby? Foam finger, romaine lettuce, asparagus, small-clawed otter

symptoms/appointments/happenings this week? Just got home from our long car-ride to GA and back so I'm pretty swollen. The car does that to me. So far I haven't been swelling otherwise. Napping pretty much every day.

rants/raves/questions? Rave: I got to have our second shower with my side of the family today and also get to see my folks for the first time since July. It was so, so needed. I just needed loved on big time.

We don't have it all but we are a lot closer after today. We now have a crib, changing table, carseat+stroller, rock n play, bumbo, humidifier, baby tub, etc. etc. We still have a to-do list (need a play yard, high chair, bassinet, etc) but we were given some cards and cash that will help big time to grab that stuff too, now I'm just going to wait for that completion discount.
