  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 13

WAYDTGKU: Trying to have sex every other day, PNV, OPKs, checking CM and CP.

R/R: I got a dark OPK yesterday, so I am pretty sure that O-day is imminent. I may keep checking until FF gives me crosshairs, though. Also, I'm starting a few weeks of night shift today. I'm so nervous that the irregular sleep pattern is going to screw up my chart.

    CS/Q: Nothing yet.

GTKU: Kind of a spin off on the question yesterday - What is your favorite movie? Least favorite movie? Favorite movies are Garden State, Love Actually and Elf. I hate any action movies or movies with a lot of violence
  • @BertieMeetsGertie and @wabash15 I know LP should generally remain the same. However, past cycles over 3 years tell me my cycle length very very rarely is >27 days, regardless of o date. I'm always hopeful for longer cycles (and longer LP!), just saying past cycles indicate this may be a shorter LP. I also acknowledge that "you're regular until you're not" and I'm not a SS so I appreciate the insight ;)
  • @JulesDP sorry you have a hangover but it sounds like you had a fun day yesterday!!
@TalesOfASocialIntrovert Hmm, that's interesting! Keep us posted on what happens because now I'm intrigued!

    CD: 8

    WAYDTGKU: all the normal things

Rant:I spent 10 hours shopping yesterday, and still couldn't find everything I was looking for! Now I have to spend the whole day cleaning the house.

Rave: This is my new halloween costume. I'm going to match with H.

    CS/Q: None

GTKU: Kind of a spin off on the question yesterday - What is your favorite movie? Least favorite movie?

Favorite - Rocky Horror Picture Show
    Least Favorite - the R
omeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio. It's so cheesy.
  • @Ohemgee I think that FF says that you should just be consistent with respect to however you document BD and time of day. So if you always chart BD before midnight as "PM" and after midnight as "AM", continue doing that (This is what I do). And if you consider when you go to bed as "PM" and when you wake up as "AM" (regardless of actual time) to continue doing that.

  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: start temping tomorrow (was going to start this weekend but we're at family's house so kind of hard... probably could have but not sleeping well on top of the fact that I've been drinking, it didn't seem very worthwhile), as well as hio eod, preseed, I'm going to try to sub green tea for my afternoon coffee

R/R: not much... sad the weekend is over. I miss hanging out at home lol, it seems like we're gone so much

    CS/Q: nope not yet!

GTKU: Kind of a spin off on the question yesterday - What is your favorite movie? Least favorite movie? This is tough! I love a good documentary. I'd say one that was a childhood favorite was rat race and my favorite Disney move was definitely fantasia. Today? I don't think I have an absolute favorite! And least favorite... well, there's a lot of bad movies out there so I certainly can't pick one. I do think Nicholas Cage is a bad actor... so not really a fan of his stuff.
@dinosaur that Halloween costume looks comfy! And maybe can be reused for pj's?!

@JulesDP I feel ya on the hangover... I'm sucking at adulting today as well.... I think you're doing better than me though, I'm currently lying in bed

@SaphireSweetie88 that sucks about working on a saturday... but at least it went smoothly :)

@Buthayna sorry things are a little rough at the moment :( I hope you're able to sneak in something nice for yourself today

@purplg8r woo on the 8 miles!! I can get headaches after a long run too... sometimes drinking a coffee then a bottle of water helps. (I don't know if you're cutting out all caffeine though) are you training for anything?

  • @Nelbetron I have a bunch of half marathons coming up (Disney's Wine & Dine is up first) and debating trying to catch up to marathon training for Disney marathon at the beginning of Jan. I've done the last 3 years but didn't sign up for this one because I thought we'd buy a house earlier & I'd be pregnant by then. But right now I'm not feeling very positive about the next 2 chances so debating hopping back on that training schedule.
  • @nelbetron thanks :) I did some baking, watched some MasterChef reruns, and laughed til I cried at some of these  :D I'm feeling ok for the moment!

  • Month/Cycle: 7 months total, 1 cycle ttcal

    CD: 12

    WAYDTGKU: pnv, bbt, cm, sex

R/R: H is totally weirded out that I have to see what temperature my vagina is every morning  :D
Also, I am loving these fall colors!

    CS/Q:

GTKU: Kind of a spin off on the question yesterday - What is your favorite movie? Least favorite movie?
I shamelessly love chick flicks. I do not like scary movies. Mostly because H works nights and I am a wimp.
  • @purplg8r good luck with your training! I start training for a full next week. :)
  • @lulu1180 - I don't temp because my schedule doesn't allow it. I work on-call anywhere from 1-4 days a week, and I get called in sometimes once a week, sometimes all 4, and the time I get called in/how long I have to stay is variable. I temped for 2 years, and then when I got this job I tried for 2 months, but my charts were unreadable due to the variable amounts of time I would sleep/when I would wake, so for me, its not only frustrating, but not feasible and if I tried, I would honestly be more confused.
  • @spk112 what full are you doing?
  • @lulu1180 not to give you another mattress option, but have you seen the "Purple" mattress. We are intrigued by it.

  • @laeberge3 that's amazing you shared your losses, I admire you for it. I'm so glad it was a positive experience for you.

  • @bumpybump @lulu1180 We're also looking for a mattress (well, I am.... H seems perfectly content but I hoping I can convince him...) - which brands are you leaning towards? Have you heard anything about Casper? I haven't heard of Purple but will look it up now.

Also, @lulu1180 I completely understand your Dear Diary - last week the sermon was about gratitude and I found it surprisingly up-lifting. I love when Sundays bring that combo of peace and hope :)

@Pepper16 We actually decided on a local brand. The mattresses and stores are exclusively in the Cleveland area (I think) and a friend told me they got really good ratings with consumer reports. They're called the Original Mattress Factory.  I googled the purple mattress but there's something about memory foam and I prefer to stay with a more traditional mattress

ETA our second and third choices were a Sealy and Stearns & Foster respectively

Also, I have a feeling if I listened to the sermon more often, I would find them mostly uplifting. Our priest was new to my church a few years ago and I didn't want to like him but he will often end his sermons on a note that will leave you thinking.
