How far along are you? 13 weeks

How big is baby? size of a lemon

Appointments this week? Nope

Symptoms? Same ol', same ol'. Nausea, some vomiting, constipation. And I keep getting these random muscle spasms.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate that I do not enjoy pregnancy. But I'm trying to be grateful and relish in the glorious fact that this is my last go-round.

GTKY: Are you planning (or hoping someone plans) any special baby events (gender reveal, Baby Shower/Sprinkle, Sip & See, Diaper Party, etc)? I'm not planning anything, but I assume that my staff will do something. If anything, we'd just have a cookout & diaper party after baby is born.

How big is baby? Cinnamon roll

Appointments this week? Monday I see my midwife for a regular checkup and blood draw

Symptoms? Hunger, some tiredness

Rant/Rave/Questions? Wondering when I'll feel this baby without convincing myself I'm not really feeling baby. Hah

GTKY: Are you planning (or hoping someone plans) any special baby events (gender reveal, Baby Shower/Sprinkle, Sip & See, Diaper Party, etc)? Nope. Second baby, already have anything, don't have anyone to attend where we live. We'll do something cute to reveal gender but not a party.

How far along are you? 15+1

How big is baby? As big as a crayon box or avocado or navel orange

Appointments this week? No appointments until 11/3 and 11/7 - routine with the OB and then my anatomy scan!

Symptoms? Fatigue during the day has dissipated but I am going to bed earlier - no complaints there. My appetite continues to increase. I'm also definitely beginning to show - and not just looking bloated and chubby - it's getting rounder and more towards the center.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I got nothing! Maybe what a sip & see is.... I don't go to many showers (personal preference) so I'm not exposed to the many wacky traditions.

GTKY: Are you planning (or hoping someone plans) any special baby events (gender reveal, Baby Shower/Sprinkle, Sip & See, Diaper Party, etc)? This is our first(s) so everyone is going bananas over it. My DH wants to do a gender reveal but I wasn't planning on it so now I have to think of what we can do and who to invite (his parents live 4 hrs away.) My sister's are chomping at the bit to throw me a shower. I have no idea what a sip & see is but I'll google that lickety split. And my coworkers said that instead of a work shower that they'll throw a diaper party or pamper party - which is my preference.

Not really aside from occasional nausea and general uncomfortableness.

People have already started rubbing my belly. I. Hate. That.

a sip and see and/or a diaper party are definitely more my speed since we already have most of what we need for this baby. I'm sure my ILs will want to do something over the top since this LO is a girl

We'll probably have something here at work, but other than that probably not. This is my 2nd

@super_sam03 A Sip and See is kind of like a meet and greet for the baby. Sometime after LO is born you invite people over to meet them. Have some champagne (or whatever, really) to celebrate. They are usually pretty low key and can be used as a way to control the number of visitors showing up to see the baby in those first few days after you get home.

I didn't know that about the sip & see! Maybe that's what we'll do after, especially since we're team green this time. The only thing I can think of is to tell people to get us gift cards if they want to get a gift. My mom is coming out in May for a couple of weeks, so I'm sure she'd help me put something together.

@Beckyf321 I was team green the first time around and we received a lot of gear at our shower. A lot more useful than clothes, IMO!
