i would like to throat punch the exterminators that aren't returning our calls with regard to a wasp nest inside the wall of our house. I'm allergic and it's getting to the point where my house is boarder line inhabitable for me when H isn't there to kill them.

Also, shout out to @rainbowturtles because I love Throat Punch Thursday.

Maybe it's just me but I felt we could all use some more tension release lol

Mine is more of an annoyance than a throat punch but on Friday or Saturday I noticed DH had something weird in a Tupperware container in the fridge so I asked what it was and if he was going to eat it and he said probably not and that he'd dispose of it "before morning",to which I laughed and said it didn't have to be right away. But somehow yesterday morning it ended up on the kitchen island. And has stayed there. So now he's brought it out of the fridge and is going to let it rot on the counter??? I'm not touching it and I honestly don't even want to say anything about it; kind of want to see how long this one takes to play out

@Dilynne That is so horrible! I hope that gets resolved soon.
@rainbowturtles I do similar things to my H all the time. I'll just wait for him to notice and do it himself.

It is funny that you started this thread because just earlier I said to one of my coworkers about another coworker, "If she clears her throat one more time, I am going to punch her in it!" This girl is just one of those people that even if you hear her breathing I'm like

Mine is the same as yesterday's (WTF Wednesday) because I talked to DH about it yesterday after work and he doesn't seem to understand my side of it....

My husband and FIL.

We need a new engine for his car (we've needed it for 1 year) and finally have the means to get one. Anyway, we were looking at 3 different ones and finally decided on one. We have a friend of my FIL who's a mechanic (let's call him Bob) and is going to put the engine in for us (yay!). Well DH and I agreed on how much we were going to pay Bob. This was about 2 weeks ago.

Fast forward to a couple days ago, DH tells my FIL we're going to pay Bob x amount. Why DH decided to tell FIL is beyond me but oh well. My FIL says you should pay Bob y amount. DH agreed and then told Bob that we we're going to pay him y amount. NEVER was the change in payment discussed with me first before telling Bob. I found out yesterday (Wednesday) on the way to work. The new amount is way too much (IMO) and I don't want to look like the bad guy by saying no, we're paying x amount like we agreed on... ugh

@Dilynne - I'd be staying with my parents since I am allergic as well.
@rainbowturtles - That's kind of funny hehe

My TPT is that im pretty sure the bump is freaking out for me today. I have been away, but those stupid video ads started again today, and I turned them off!!!! and its been super slow, to the point that it has crashed like 10 times, and even crashed chrome for me! I work in web development, and I already have some issues with how it is set up, but this is really making me mad today!

@rainbowturtles LOL your story reminds me of an Everybody Loves Raymond episode where he leaves a suitcase on the stairs for weeks and Debra keeps complaining about it and says she's not putting it away. Well Ray wants to get back at her so he put in a huge chunk of stinky cheese and he figures she will now take care of it because of the smell. She still doesn't give in! It was pretty funny!

@Dilynne YIKES!!!!! Can you call a different company?? That is super scary even if you aren't allergic.

My TP is the seller of the house we are trying to buy. They have 50 minutes left to agree to our 2nd offer, or counter, or refuse. Just get it over with already.

On a positive front my ILs want to help us with our down payment!

This is more of an eyeroll than a throat punch. We received an envelope in the mail yesterday that I honestly believed was a wedding invitation we were expecting. It had a pink envelope, gold writing, one of those little tissue paper things that I'm not sure the purpose of..... it was an invitation to DH's friend's daughter's first birthday party. They live 3 hours away. I have so many icky feelings about this: one,this feels like a gift grab. Two, if the party is as over the top as the invitation I'm scared to see what this girls Sweet 16 is going to look like. Three, if this couple had visited our house, ever, I'd be less irritated. We always go to them. Even when they only lived 45 minutes away.

Again, an eyeroll, nobody's getting throat punched over this.

@swimsister a three hour drive for a kid's ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY??!! Nope nope nope. Probably not even for family. I thought an appropriate and cute 1st birthday was the cake smash photo shoot and posting it on Facebook lol Send pics. Don't expect a huge party; that's so strange to me. (or maybe I'm just cranky today lol)

@rainbowturtles - beware playing games the wait it out game with men... DH has put something BACK in the fridge after I took it out when he said he'd clean it up.
@SaphireSweetie88 - oh that would NOT fly with me! I am not a happy camper when DH talks about our finances in any way with Mil/fil. It's between you and bob. If Bob has a problem with it, he can tell you!
@BertieMeetsGertie - I totally remember that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond. Somehow, that doesn't work with MH. Something gets stinky in his car and I end up cleaning it...
@swimsister - yikes! Sounds excessive. If it's not a super close friend, I would personally have no problem saying you can't be there...

Mt TPT is just a general one to all employers who use the stupid HR programs that look for key words in your application/resume. I promise I will be a great employee! Yes, even remote! I'm getting so frustrated, like just throwing my resume into the wind would be more effective. I'm so sick of all these automated things with no real contact info to a real person!

@KhRun17 the part I don't understand is that HE brought it out onto the counter and then left it there. Like, what is the thought process? Especially when you see it again after work and then again the next morning lol

But yes, sometimes I feel like I should just know better lol We share a vehicle right now and I haven't been able to borrow it this week so I sent him to get fake blood for our costumes for a party this weekend and now I think he's gone and spent over $100 at the costume store when I only sent him for blood

I love that he loves Halloween but I already spent around $100 so I'm just like yeeeesh!

Meanwhile, I'd like to TP these awful cramps because omg I'm in agony

@littlebug2010 TB has been really slow for me today too for some reason. It keeps getting stuck!

@SaphireSweetie88 I don't blame you for being mad. I would not be happy if my H discussed our finances with anyone but me. That stuff is between you guys.

@swimsister Some people go way too over the top for 1st birthday parties. IMHO it should just be family and a few select close friends. It does seem like you're just looking for gifts.

@KhRun17 I know your pain. I lost my job last summer and looking for a new one was a nightmare. I hope it gets better for you!

@rainbowturtles I am with you. AF hasn't showed yet but I am already crampy and pissed off.
