  • The crying. I hate crying. It makes me uncomfortable when others cry, I hate crying myself.
  • Needing extra time to recover from stuff.  This has gotten a little better recently, but in 1st tri I would go to DH's football games, leave early and STILL wake up with this hungover-like feeling no matter how long I slept.  All of the morning-after suffering with none of the night-before fun!  :/

  • The fatigue! I actually think it has been getting worse this past week instead of getting better
  • Constantly getting this weird taste in my mouth after eating and it making me feel so nauseous! Ugh

BEING SO SICK. My medicine barely helps.  With DD the second I hit 12 weeks I was instantly better, so I woke up Sunday ready to dance ... and then puke up everything. I really, really just want to feel normal. And be able to drink liquids. I cannot even swallow any beverage except Dr. Pepper and OJ. I am, therefore, a cranky, dehydrated person.
+1. It's so brutal this time around!  I have never been so sick and miserable my entire life!  I've had a total of maybe 4-5 good days and then the nausea hits with a vengeance!  It's starting to feel like I'm never going to not be nauseous or throw up again.  So depressing!  Hard not to be in a bad mood when you feel so sick.

  • YES @BeachMommy2B I get a cold sandwich 1x per week. Which is nothing for me! I could eat them every day. And every time I have one my coworker side eyes me and lectures me about lysteria. It makes me so mad!
  • Hahaha...sorry, but these (re: people butting in where they shouldn't) are making me laugh and get grumpy simultaneously.  On a similar note, I had someone at work tell me that I shouldn't be wearing high heels because it's not safe during pregnancy.  Uh yeah,  if I had a big pregnant belly I MIGHT worry about my balance,  but I'm only 15 weeks (and was about 10 weeks then).

Overall, I am just not one of those women who enjoys pregnancy.  I have a lot of the yuck symptoms.  Blah.

@Pinkpeonies & @kcasset, I'm also sick of the nausea and throwing up.

Also, I've already started getting the "are you sure there's only one in there"? at 12 weeks. Yeah, I'm sure, with 3 u/s to prove it.  This is my third baby and my first two were 7 lbs 14 oz and 8 lbs 13 oz, without even making it to my due date.  I'm 5'3" and grow gargantuan babies.  Suck it......and stop asking asshole questions like that.
this x100. I'm on #4 and my oldest just turned 4 a few weeks ago. All 3 of them have been over 8 1/2 lbs born a week early. People are so rude.

The pure exhaustion this this time is out of this world. I can't wait for it to go so I can get some of my energy back. Hopefully REALLY soon.
  • The anxiety I have from having two prior losses.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
  • Yes to the exhaustion!  I'm finally sleeping fine....no more up for 3 hrs in the middle of the night.  But now I can't seem to catch my breath after walking up a flight of stairs.

I'm over the rude comments I keep getting from people. "You're pregnant AGAIN?!" "Can you even afford another baby since you don't work?" Apparently running my business from home isn't considered real work. And my favorite...straight from my delightful mother in law, "you look so run down already, are you sure you can handle another one? You should probably wean the baby soon"

Hey thanks for pointing out how tired I am and making me feel worse. Also, don't worry about when I wean my baby. What I do with my boobs is my business. Step off! Grr!

OMG. People are so horrible and rude!

  • @BluesGal10 ugh I get you. I haven't been yet but I do NOT want to be touched and I don't look forward to it. I saw a shirt that says "if you didn't put it there, don't touch it." I'm so tempted to buy it.  :D
  • @BluesGal10 my mom does that daily... I keep telling her that's just fat she's touching and she says well he's in there somewhere! *eye roll*
  • Just got back from an appointment and I was lectured over having a cup and a half of coffee today - seriously? I'm over all of it! No nitrates, no caffeine, no lunchmeat, no cheese, no Caesar dressing, wash everything 10 times, nothing cooked medium, no sushi, no alcohol, no medicines, no salt, no herbal teas. Despite me being 16 weeks this was my first real appointment this preg and I swear as I'm sitting there listening to all this my eyeball just starts twitching since it's bringing up all the reasons I hate going to the OB. I know some of it makes sense (hello, no smoking), but Jesus are pregnant women 'allowed' to do anything?!? The listeria warnings in particular drive me insane @BeachMommy2B
  • Wait... what's wrong with Cesar dressing!?! There goes half my meals  :|

  • Sometimes restaurant make it from scratch and it can contain raw egg (salmonella) ... I still order them @beachmommy2b
  • The assumption that baby will be born in a hospital with drugs.
  • The not knowing is the worst this time.  My symptoms went away about week ten. I swear I lay in bed every night trying to convince this little guy to move just so I know he/ she is alive in there.  With DS, I had heart burn constantly so I at least felt pregnant.  With this one, I felt HORRIBLE the first few weeks and then nothing. I'm still exhausted daily, but I have a two year old and 40 fourth graders so ...
i was going to buy a monitor, but the doctor couldnt even find a heart beat with her Doppler until I had an ultrasound last week so I'm scared buying one would make me more anxious.
  • @mallyandryan I have felt horrible but around week 10 my symptoms went away for a few days and it was torture bc I couldn't help but think something was wrong. My dr couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler either that week so I didn't want to try with mine bc I knew it would cause unnecessary worry.. I've had three ultrasounds since (stubborn baby wouldn't let then get the right picture) and baby is perfect.. my sickness is back all day and I'm sad I didn't enjoy the few normal days I had!

  • I hate feeling super crappy but guilty about trying to save as much time as possible for leave so I can't really cal in sick.  I don't like being less than 100% at my job and I have been operating at around 50%.

I hate when people ask about birth plans.  I give birth at home, unless there's a medical reason not to.  Inevitably someone has to share why their baby (or the mom) would have died if not in a hospital.  K, thanks. Not helpful.
