How far along are you?
7 weeks

How big is baby?
A small raspberry- 0.51 inches to be exact

Upcoming appointments this week?
Next Thursday...first ultrasound! Excited but also very anxious

Any new symptoms or changes?
Nausea has intensified but still not too bad. The past couple of days mostly just a icky feeling in my stomach that is with be constantly.

I had dinner with my brother yesterday and the second I said I am not drinking he said I am pregnant. As expected. Only DH and my parents knew so far...and he was the first one that showed some real excitement about this pregnancy. It felt nice. After our MMC in March, I, DH and my parents have been pretty cautious about getting too excited about it too early. But my brother made me feel better- saying "You should be excited regardless, a pregnancy is a pregnancy". Maybe it is because he and his sister in law (who is due in Dec) haven't had any MC issues that he has a bit of a naive outlook on it (in my opinion)...but his attitude towards the whole thing was refreshing and actually got me a bit excited and hopeful that everything will be okay.

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween?
Not too much. This is our second Halloween in our home and last year we left for a party and didn't get to see any trick or treaters at our place. So this year we are planning to stay home and see the trick or treaters

Any new symptoms or changes?
I've had some pretty consistent back pain the past couple of days, but that has luckily tapered off. My boobs have also started hurting. Other than that just general exhaustion. OH and my skin has been so broken out. I hate it.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
I was pretty worried over my back pain. It wasn't intense just constant. Anyone else get that?

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween?
My DD is being Belle (Beauty and the Beast). So we'll just take her around trick or treating. We usually have dinner at my parents house and take her around their neighborhood.

How far along are you? 7 weeks

How big is baby? a blueberry

Upcoming appointments this week? None this week. I had a followup ultrasound and blood work at the beginning of this week (Monday). Ultrasound showed the fetal pole and a heartbeat! We were so excited. Progesterone has gone up from 8.9 to 24 with progesterone suppositories. They said everything looked great so we are so hopeful. I go back on the 24th.

Any new symptoms or changes? SO BLOATED. My regular clothes are so uncomfortable. I might be switching to maternity soon. I think I did around this time with my first too because the regular clothes cut into my stomach too much. Still tired and a little nauseous but it actually hasn't been too bad. I have NO appetite though. I have to force myself to eat anything. So different from my last pregnancy where I ate everything in site my first tri. Haha!

Rants/Raves/Questions? bring on the fall weather! (it's still not very cool in Texas but looks like a cool front is coming thru soon).

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween? Not much! probably just hanging out at the house

We won't get any trick or treaters where we live.

Upcoming appointments this week? Just had one today. Ultrasound and met with OB. Baby has a heart rate of 130 and looks perfect and right at 7 weeks! One issue though is I've been spotting. Ultrasound showed a sub chorionic hemorrhage. Ugh. I had a severe placental abruption with my DS so this isn't fun news. I kinda lost it in the room today. Praying it just goes away!

Any new symptoms or changes?
Spotting (see above) major bloating, nausea. But my skin actually looks fantastic! Thanks baby!

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween?
Take DS trick or treating. Maybe at in laws neighborhood. We also have an annual halloween party October 22nd with our close friends!

Upcoming appointments this week?
Possibly a repeat ultrasound. I had pains last week that scared me into thinking I may be having an ectopic. I got all checked out and things looked OK but it was too early to see much (I was 5+2). I'm just really trying not to worry and hope I can get in before the 25th to be certain things are ok.

Any new symptoms or changes?
So unbelievably tired. I feel like nausea is coming in stronger and is actually starting to pick up after I eat, instead of eating making it go away like before.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
I'm just frustrated with my hospital giving me the run around on getting a follow-up ultrasound. I talked to at least 4 different people yesterday and they made me feel like I was just making it up. I'd actually really prefer if I could just have faith that things are fine and not need the extra monitoring to ensure things are in the right place and growing fine.

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween?
The last few years my H and I have gotten dressed up in matching costumes and gone out drinking with friends. The bar we go to has a costume contest and it's a great time. I'm not sure what I'll feel like on Halloween but I'm hoping to feel good enough to still go out, sans adult beverages.

Any new symptoms or changes? Cramping, my back hurts (I think that's a combo with gym-soreness), and so tired!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm a little upset that my OB won't see me until 8 weeks, but I also get it, too. Luckily I leave for my Disney family vacation at 9 weeks, so I didn't have to force them to let me in early! haha

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween? The weekend before, DH and I are driving to the PA Renaissance Fair to meet our good friends from home. I'm excited for that. Then on actual Halloween, work has a huge costume contest (which I haven't started prepping our group costume yet). Then I'll sit at home and just hope we get more than 4 trick-or-treaters this year.

@marybpoppins I'm in the same boat. My OB won't take me until I'm 8 weeks. Last time he just did a quick exam and that was it and scheduled my first ultrasound for 12 weeks. Since my last pregnancy resulted in an MMC I'm gonna press hard for an ultrasound asap once I get in that office.

Tiny?

No, my OB, like most offices, won't see me until 8-10 weeks. I have an appointment on 11/8.

I barely made it through my spin class this morning. If I wasn't nauseas I was dizzy. I so badly wanted to tell my instructor that I wasn't just dogging it.

GTKY: We have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and get hundreds of trick-or-treaters. One of us will take the girls ToTing and the other will hand out candy. Who does what remains to be seen.

Upcoming appointments this week? We had orientation at the birth center and we signed up after the tour.

Any new symptoms or changes? None..still achy breasts and bloating.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Excited about a new birthing experience and that I will get my ultrasound at 6 wks +6 .

I wasn't bloated with my first so I think I'm going to show much faster. I didn't become noticeably pregnant until after 20 weeks.

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween? DS and I will dress up and trick or treat. No decorations this year bc we are temporarily in tiny quarters. DH will be working.

Upcoming appointments this week? None this week. Next Friday is my 8 week ultrasound!

Any new symptoms or changes? My back and hip are killing me. I didn't have these pains until further along with my first.

Rants/Raves/Questions? This pregnancy I am nauseous all day long and have to have small snacks frequently to keep from dry heaving.

GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween?
Since Halloween is during the week we are just going to stay home and go to a few houses to trick or treat and then hand out candy.
