@beachbunnyxo123 I always travel carry-on only as a rule (even for my 3 week honeymoon in Italy!). Here are a few things that I do to make it work: I bring just a few tops/bottoms I can mix and match, plenty of dresses for day/night that fold up small, only one pair of each type of shoe I'll need (i.e. one pair of sandals, heels, flats - each in separate little bags to keep them compact and avoid making my clothes dirty) and wear the sneakers/tennis shoes for the travel. If I need a jacket or bulkier sweater, I wear that for travel to save space in my suitcase. I bring a larger tote as my "second" item so that I can put any spillover items there (i.e. cosmetics, toiletries). I avoid bringing anything they'll have at the hotel (i.e. bathrobe, hair dryer). That's all I can think of right now - hope it helps! Good luck with it all and hope you have a wonderful time despite all the stress leading up to it!
@CrystalPDX Really sucks about the CD1. We're here for you (and hopefully so is chocolate).
@Dilynne I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having a tough TTC month. I hope re-joining helps a bit today.
@swimsister Your gif made me lol (and somehow also desperately want to re-watch "The Notebook"). I know exactly what you mean and it's terrible.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: BBT/CM/CP charting, OPKs, need to make a HIO plan for FW which should be coming up
R/R: Rave: last night the ILs took us to a wonderful "last supper" since they're leaving today. We see them every month so it's a slightly melodramatic tradition, but it's always fun. Rant: In fact it was so fun that we drank wayyyyyyyy too much wine and I am NOT feeling great this morning. And, of course, the alcohol + messed up sleep cycle made my temp abnormally high. Annoying (and I might discard the temp). But worth it
CS/Q: Just a quick thanks to @lulu1180 for the suggestion to add a fake high temp to see what FF does! Great tip
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. 1. Generally doing this slowly/inefficiently. (Granted I'm usually doing 3+ things at once, which means I frequently break things so I might take "efficiency" too far... but still. Watching someone move slowly makes me itch.) 2. People telling me what to do. Unsolicited advice is just the worst. If I wanted your opinion on how to run my life, I would have asked. THANKS, BUT NO THANKS.

R/R: last cycle was my first AL and I didn't temp, just used opks and either my lp was only 11 days or it was anovulatory. Of coarse I POAS this morning only for my period today show up an hour later. What a waste.
CS/Q: Question... my son sucks at sleeping. It's pretty rare to get a 3 hour stretch these days... so what's more important, getting a temp after a good stretch of sleep or at the same time? Within an hour-ish of each other should be okay? I haven't temped since I got pregnant with him, so it's been awhile and I definitely didn't have anyone waking me up 6 time's a night!
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. When people leave lights on in rooms they aren't heading back to. Being late. I'm never late and I hate when people tell me they are going to show up at a certain time and don't. My MIL is famous for it. I now tell her at least half an hour before I actually want her here and she still shows up later than the time I actually want her here most days. Drives me nuts.

@osucma A temp dip doesn't necessarily imply O, nor does a rise like that because those temps are still around the same level as your earlier temps. If your temps rise higher than they are now, you may get CHs, so keep HIO til then. OPKs would also help FF pinpoint your O.
@bumpybump One of my BILs does that--constantly on his phone but ignores texts from his family. He's rapidly falling from favor with his parents and brothers for being such a flake. I see a harsh reality check in his future.
Month/Cycle: 4/4 post-myomectomy
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI + Prometrium. In that order. I asked my RE about caffeine and he said under 200mg is fine so I'm back to my morning Diet Mountain Dew, but he did say "We don't really know what 5-Hour Energies do" (which is my morning pick-me-up) "but I'd recommend staying away from those for now." He also gave H an antioxidant pill. Which H tells me after he takes it every single day so I know just how much work he's doing for this process. Don't even get me started.
R/R: I had a cold the past several days so I've been MIA except for love titting because my brain is not focusing. I'm feeling better today. I'm hoping the massive amounts of Emergen-C I've been taking aren't interfering with the Clomid, but I got zero drug interaction warnings from my doc so I'm assuming it's all good. I guess if it's not we'll find out the hard way.
CS/Q: I'm not even temping this month because of ultrasounds.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. 1) Bad grammar when people should know better, especially in newspapers and even blog posts. Take a second to proofread before blasting things out over the internet! 2) To go along with bad grammar, people who use "u" and "ur" and other inane internet abbreviations ever, even in text messages. We're not limited to the numerical keyboard anymore. Take the extra second to type the other letters on your fancy phone. We're not 12 years old.
Wow, I am angry today. I blame the cold.

GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. Well, my biggest one covers a multitude of issues - people who don't think about others! Whether that's wandering slowly through the station at rush hour or stopping at the top of the escalator or not pulling your cart to the side of the supermarket aisle or letting your kids run around a restaurant or coughing without covering your mouth...
@kat0607 EDD based on o-day makes sense if your o-day is majorly different from the "standard" CD14. If you get knocked up after ovulating on CD25, your baby would be measuring eleven days "behind".

@JulesDP April is my second favorite character and so relatable @oxcherryblossomxo sorry to hear about your back. Take it easy today @wvrn1216 Welcome! I had my mirena removed recently also, but kind of a crazy ride. Hope it is easier on you. Also Dr Google is my worst enemy. GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1) When people say, "I could care less." What they mean to say is "I couldn't care less" and it drives me insane.
2) At work, I can't stand it when people initiate work conversations in the bathroom, like when we are washing our hands. I'm always slowly backing out the door, thinking "People are shitting in here can we go back to my office please?"
Thank you. I mean by off that my mother in law took my son so I can rest. But thank you. They are bad!
@pepper16 wow I am so impressed that you did a carry on for a 3 week honeymoon that is awesome!! I studied abroad in Spain when I was in college and my whole life was in my luggage and it got lost I didn't have anything for weeks and had to buy everything new so carry on only is a great principle! What do you do about shampoo and cosmetics with the airline rules? Do you find that you have what you need?
@Dinosaur Ah smoking is a big pet peeve of mine, too! And some smokers are really rude, lighting up in crowded places like a bus stop. I always just cough really loudly when someone does it and hope they get the point, but it rarely works.
@beachbunnyxo123 haha thanks! To be fair, I did have to do laundry a couple of times But losing my luggage is my worst nightmare so I never want to risk what you went through! I'm so sorry, that must have been awful! In terms of TSA guidelines, I have several 3 oz. travel plastic bottles that I put my products into (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body lotion etc...) that you can get at any drugstore. The travel/trial size of products you can buy are usually smaller (1.3 or so oz.), but I want the max. I can bring (3 oz.) so I buy the empty bottles to fill. The only thing I buy in the travel size is toothpaste! In terms of makeup, technically you should put any liquid items (mascara, foundation) in the plastic ziplock bag with your other liquids but I have NEVER been stopped for not doing so. Of course if you happen to get TSA pre-check on your ticket you don't have to take any liquids out of your suitcase at all, which makes security much simpler (although I tend to put them in the ziplock still just in case!)

@Saralee797 Hoping your test goes smoothly! I highly recommend talking with your RE at your follow up if you have any questions or concerns about morphology. My husband had 1% morphology from his first SA, then 3% at the retest, and the doctor didn't say anything explicitly like "Your chances are low" but he did give me a pill for him to take to possibly improve that. He said that because the number changed he wasn't concerned, because you can test the same man every week for a year and get a different result every time. I think the pill may have been more for my peace of mind.
I did some research at the time and read that it used to be 15% was "normal," but then they revised what "normal" sperm looked like (making it more restrictive), so that dropped the acceptable percentage to 4%. With morphology it's completely subjective; it's a human looking at a sperm sample and counting what looks "normal" to their eye. There's so much margin for error so it's the most mysterious of issues.
TL;DR He's probably fine but follow up with your RE

@lulu1180 I am so sorry you're having a rough week, I think you need to take a bubble bath with a good book and chocolate... Or whatever the equivalent relaxation technique is for you!
Speaking of books, I am so with you on the annoyance of people interrupting me when I'm reading. I love books and I read constantly; that's probably how I ended up majoring in writing/lit in college against all of my better instincts. H and the rest of my family do not share this love so they don't really seem to understand why I screech "WHAT!" at them when they try to talk to my while I'm reading...
@kiwi2628 Yes! That exactly. Like, why did you ask for my specialized skill/knowledge if you are going to just blatantly disregard it?
@NYTino24 Your sister using your towel would drive me crazy! None of my family members have done that. I think H using it drives me so nuts because he gets up about 20 minutes before I do, so if he uses my towel, by the time I need it it's cold and wet!
@Saralee797 I know I said it earlier this week, but it's worth repeating. Good luck!!! I hope you get good news!

@mrsn092714 Oh no, I'm so sorry to see CD1. I hope this next cycle is the one for you! I know for me personally for temping, the time itself is more important than the hours of sleep, but I don't think that's always the case.
@mrs35 - I get annoyed too when people say they will do something but then they don't.
@beachbunnyxo123 - Have fun in Vegas! I also side-eye people who cough / sneeze in the air. It's disgusting. I also side-eye parents who don't tell their kids to cover their mouth / nose either.
@kiwi2628 - Hopefully their not counterfeit. I should try that next time someone rudely interrupts me.
@lulu1180 I am so glad to know that I am memorable! Hi again! Yeah I needed to take a break for a couple weeks to settle my BSC self down. Much more even headed going into this second cycle
@saphiresweetie88 every little bit helps! Slow and steady tends to stick better than fast results.
@osucma - Yes I am aware. I'm not trying to rush any results but if my body wants to drop 3 pounds a week I am not going to complain haha. I think it's because I cut out 90% of the soda I was drinking so my body is dropping the weight due to that. I am fully aware that I may hit a plateu and not lose any weight for a while but we shall see. I am going to continue what I am doing and see what happens.

So. Many. Good ones!
1. So many drivers here in TX drive on the right side of the road. I'm like, Dude! I don't know if you're getting ready to make a right turn, or just want to drive against the curb???
2. Sending texts or emails with glaring misspelled words or bad autocorrects. Like were you even reading what you were typing?
Hey all!! Thanks so much for the well wishes. It means the world to me
I'm happy to report that both tubes are all clear woohoo! My experience was not bad at all. I did cramp up/experience a little pain when they put the catheter in but I would say it felt about as uncomfortable as a Pap smear. The whole thing was over in 5 mins. It's really cool actually to see the dye spill through. Oh wow those tubes are tiny. It's no wonder it's so damn hard to get KU! I did have immediate bleeding and am still lightly bleeding but nbd. I'm sure that will go away soon.
@eggplantface thanks so much for the info on morphology I'll definitely bring it up at the follow up appt with the RE. I think it's on the 25th. What you told me is basically what I found on the internet but it was good to hear your doc wasn't that concerned. I have him taking vitamins but I'll ask about the pill too. You're the best!!

@SaphireSweetie88 RIGHT....being interrupted is the worst. And congrats on the weight loss! Every bit counts @beachbunnyxo123 I always just bring a carry on to Vegas no matter the length....if you pack light airy dresses and light clothing you can roll them all up and surprisingly fit enough clothes for two weeks in a carry on. Wear any bulky items on your flight so you save room! @lulu1180 sorry on CD1. Cake and wine for you. @JulesDP hahah I feel like we have a mutual hatred of being interrupted, as well as ignored. @wvrn1216 yay! welcome and I hope your body does all the things you want it to get back to normal @CrystalPDX You most definitely should get yourself a treat tonight! Hope the stress of works calms down. @alysapugglesstory of my life. I wish there were more hours in a day after work before bed...And the cart thing! (cause who has the ability to turn down wine unless there is a reason) @shstephenson your getting your work out in everyday that's for sure! CS/Q: a whole lotta tmi coming up...been wondering if it makes any difference if you sleep with that baby making gold inside (is there a short form for sperm? Cause I think BMG has a ring to it) is it any more effective or less effective? It makes for quite the mess in the morning, but I thought if I keep it all up in thurr for the night the spermies have lots of chances to swim up and take camp...there is probably no scientific truth to this though...
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. Being interrupted while speaking (emphasis on that) and people who use their phones while driving
@zwink1 - does YH use your body towel as a hand towel? Mine does, that's the worst! Hello, there's a hand towel right next to you. And if not, turn around and get a new one from the cabinet. @lulu1180 - I almost expected your pet peeves to be drive-by's (nice responses over there this week, btw) @osucma - DH caught someone clipping their nails in the middle of a church service last weekend! Like, while the pastor was talking!
@BMPNAB I don't believe that leaving the BMG (i like the acronym btw ) there over night would be helpful, and from what I've read regarding people using softcups to keep it up there, it can actually be harmful. Those little guys make it to their destination quickly, so there's no need to sleep with them in there. Although, that being said it's not like it really is all going to come out anyway.
ETA: @KhRun17 yes he does!! We also have a hand towel right there... I don't understand why it's so hard to use that towel instead of mine.
@KhRun17 hahaha thanks! They're a close second. And they just happened to catch me at a really bad time and I wasn't in the mood for someone to come barging in here like that and calling all of my new friends bullies (or whatever similar term the drive-by of the week is using)

@BMPNAB - according to The Great Sperm Race, sperm reach the cervix (and therefore won't be 'falling out' with the BMG) within a few minutes. I usually cuddle with my H for a few minutes after sex and then I get up and pee because I will get a UTI if I don't.
@SaphireSweetie88, I just noticed that you posted this at like 2AM... did you sleep at all? lol @mylove071407 that is so amazing and must feel so gratifying! @lulu1180 sorry for CD 1 @NYTino24, I imagine if you started around CD 10, that would just be two or three extra times for sex, which hopefully wouldn't be too taxing but would allow to to catch O if you happen to O around 15 or a day or two earlier.. just a thought! @kat0607, EDD tends to be calculated by doctors and others based on LMP. However, that's under the assumption that someone has the so-called average 28-day cycle with O around CD 14. If someone happens to ovulate on CD 12 or CD 16 it's not a big deal but if someone ovulates on CD 35 or something, then it would be more accurate to go by O day @Saralee797 , glad the HSG went well!! @BMPNAB, like PPs said, the sperm (the healthy ones at least) get to where they need to go within the first few minutes. Anything left over is not going to make too much of a difference

WAYDTGKU: temping, CM, opks, etc
R/R: It's only wednesday... booo!
CS/Q: Our room was cold this morning and I think I caught a cold or something so I was mouth-breathing all night. So my temp this morning is lower than I expected. I hope that's what it is or else my timing is poor and H has had a rough couple nights at work so I don't think we'll get good timing unless I already ovulated. If my temp tomorrow is over 97.8, though, FF will give me crosshairs, so I think it agrees with me.
GTKY: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. Like PPs, I HATE being interrupted. Don't even talk to me if you are not going to hear what I have to say! And in keeping with the grammar theme, I hate when people write or say "I's." Like, "my husband and I's relationship." It's never the right thing to say! It's never proper grammatically speaking and it just sounds horrible.

1. Generally doing this slowly/inefficiently. (Granted I'm usually doing 3+ things at once, which means I frequently break things so I might take "efficiency" too far... but still. Watching someone move slowly makes me itch.)

@bumpybump One of my BILs does that--constantly on his phone but ignores texts from his family. He's rapidly falling from favor with his parents and brothers for being such a flake. I see a harsh reality check in his future.

Edit: autocorrect.

So. Many. Good ones!
1. So many drivers here in TX drive on the right side of the road. I'm like, Dude! I don't know if you're getting ready to make a right turn, or just want to drive against the curb???
2. Sending texts or emails with glaring misspelled words or bad autocorrects. Like were you even reading what you were typing?
Every bit counts
@beachbunnyxo123 I always just bring a carry on to Vegas no matter the length....if you pack light airy dresses and light clothing you can roll them all up and surprisingly fit enough clothes for two weeks in a carry on. Wear any bulky items on your flight so you save room!
@lulu1180 sorry on CD1. Cake and wine for you.
@JulesDP hahah I feel like we have a mutual hatred of being interrupted, as well as ignored.

@CrystalPDX You most definitely should get yourself a treat tonight! Hope the stress of works calms down.
@alysapugglesstory of my life. I wish there were more hours in a day after work before bed...And the cart thing! OMG people bring them back they are only a few steps away.

@shstephenson your getting your work out in everyday that's for sure! Congrats on the stamina? is that something people congrats on? lol I wish H would be up for it everyday but alas, EOD it is.

According to Ovia I just started my FW today so hopefully its accurate with my OPK I should get a positive in the next day or two and get my butt over to the TWW! Fingers crosssssssed.
@lulu1180 - I almost expected your pet peeves to be drive-by's (nice responses over there this week, btw)

@mylove071407 that is so amazing and must feel so gratifying!
@lulu1180 sorry for CD 1
@NYTino24, I imagine if you started around CD 10, that would just be two or three extra times for sex, which hopefully wouldn't be too taxing but would allow to to catch O if you happen to O around 15 or a day or two earlier.. just a thought!
@kat0607, EDD tends to be calculated by doctors and others based on LMP. However, that's under the assumption that someone has the so-called average 28-day cycle with O around CD 14. If someone happens to ovulate on CD 12 or CD 16 it's not a big deal but if someone ovulates on CD 35 or something, then it would be more accurate to go by O day
@Saralee797 , glad the HSG went well!!
@BMPNAB, like PPs said, the sperm (the healthy ones at least) get to where they need to go within the first few minutes. Anything left over is not going to make too much of a difference
CD: 18
