Why does TB ALWAYS eat the end if my posts!! It makes me so freaking ragey!! It is part of the reason I am not on her a lot because I can't come on mobily. Also it will not autocorrect or show mistakes in these boxes. HALP!
@MrsRahl, I found whenever I tried to use emojis (or emoticons... or whatever the proper word is), my post gets eaten. Once I stopped using these from my phones keyboard and only using ones TB inserts (by clicking the smiley face icon next to the insert picture icon), TB stopped eating my posts.
I work for a photo booth comany and at an event last night I had a really creepy drunk guy get friendly with my belly. Thankfully his wife was there and stopped him but it was so uncomfortable. I had to stand there and try to act professionally since I am representing my company when I really wanted to slap the guy.
@ladysaceb - that's awful! I hate that you felt pressured to act professionally when you were being physically harassed. I'm glad his wife came to your rescue.
We made it through the storm! I packed water shoes in case we had flooding at our friends' neighborhood and DH just pointed out that they don't match. I threw the other "pair" away because they're super uncomfortable & don't stay on. Stupid pregnancy brain threw out half of my nice pair of water shoes

Completely and utterly random but I was reminded while renewing our income driven repayment plans for our student loans that since I'm pregnant we can claim 2 dependents! Which helped us re qualify at even lower rates! Just a little PSA for anyone else who have student loans that would take up over 1/3 of their take home pay if they paid the standard rate...like ours would!
Update on us and the storm, H and I got out of town and went to the wedding, but the Housesitter has been doing a good job of updating us. We has no visible damage as of last night, lakebehund the house was feet from fence, and power stayed on the entire storm, we lost power after the storm passed from a transformer blowing ( probably from the stress on the power grid) should be back on soon. We are very lucky and thankful it wasn't a more direct hit or any stronger. Prayers for all in the more beach communities, because those homes were flooded and damaged.
I am so happy to see my FL friends OK! Hopefully your power gets turned on back soon. Yesterday in Tampa the sky was reeeeaaaaalllly dark and it was very windy, but no rain. Today looks like a beautiful day. I feel very fortunate.

This morning as soon as I stood up I knew my choice of underwear was a poor decision but it took so much effort to get dressed I decided to face the consequences rather than take off my boots and pants to change. If I had a dollar for every time I had to reach down to pull it back up I'd have about $17 and it's only 10:30 AM.

We took my son to the pumpkin patch yesterday. When we got home, I realized that my FB profile picture is of him at the pumpkin patch last year. It might be time to change it!
@TinaBelcher this is wayyyy late, but I just caught up on all the randoms...I hope your smell is under control now! I love to use various essential oils (a few drops) on my furnace filter. I also will sometimes just put a drop in my trash can or down a vent, etc.
I'm thinking today is a day for brunch. I don't feel like cooking and don't have eggs (DD and I destroy eggs on a daily basis). Plus, I'm off today and it's supposed to feel like fall outside!

Totally random but has anyone ordered from Stub Hub where the tickets are sent via UPS to you? Any issues getting them by the delivery time mentioned? My DH and I are going to a Bears game this weekend and procrastinated on getting tickets assuming the team would continue to suck and ticket prices would go down. Now we can't decide if we pay more for some that are instant download and have them in hand or risk UPS not getting them here by Friday.
ETA: We decided to take a chance on UPS. The seats are more what we wanted for a decent price. Hoping they arrive by Friday as anticipated.

I was coming out of the bathroom and a lady that I don't know was walking in and says to me "Oh, look at you, I bet you're in here a lot." Such an odd statement, nothing really wrong with it but so strange (and a new one to me).
You GUYS work is trying to kill me. We've had a couple people quit, 2 get fired, 2 are out sick CONSTANTLY and nothing is moving through the shop (I'm upper mgmt in an automotive prototype shop but when the shop floor flounders I get my ass out there and work with everyone else)
Setting up and running a press with a massive belly is no good. I'm not sure why but these car companies think that they're saving lives and every prototype order's timing is life or death. If I'm MIA a bit until 11/10 this is why (hopefully it's just because I'm still outrageously busy and not that it's actually killed me) But after my audit's over 11/10 I'm OUTTA here! WFH every day!
