Congrats to any TTGP grads this week, our fingers are crossed!
This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but does allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button to indicate "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short&sweet notes. Questions as well as longer personal congratulatory notes can be posted in the thread.
Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!
When you see somebody who has possibly violated a guideline of this thread, please quote the section of these guidelines and include a callout to the poster, but keep snark to a minimum as these rules can be subject to opinion. If you have a post called out, please edit your offending post to add a note that you've been made aware of the rule and will keep it in mind in the future (if you are being asked to change wording due to unintentionally offensive phrasing, please remove that part of your post with a note of "EDIT: Removed offensive phrasing). Re: TTGP Grad Thread -Week of 10/10-
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3/3
What were you doing TGKU? PNVs, BD ED, preseed, first try with OPKs
How was your timing? Pretty much EOD the whole month with ED during FW
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? None yet. Maybe some cramping
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I just told him when I found out and then show him the progression of tests. Not exciting at all.
Anything else to add? More like question- should I wait to call my doctor? I'm officially late as of today, I didn't know if I should wait or just call to get myself in to confirm.

3/3
What were you doing TGKU?
Temping, HIO, OPKs
How was your timing?
-3, -1, O, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
So. Much. Cervical fluid. That was the first thing I noticed, around 7 DPO. Other than that, I've been feeling nauseous this weekend pretty constantly, which is very unusual for me.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
I bought a onsie before we first started trying that said "future mechanic like my daddy!" and found a baby manual book for dads at Goodwill. I put them out on the bed and called him into the room, under the assumption that there was something I needed him to take a look at. He went right past the bed and came over to me and asked what was wrong. I had to turn him around and make him look at the bed. He broke into a huge smile and asked "Does that mean...?"
Anything else to add?
I have been debating since yesterday whether or not to post this just yet as my period isn't due until Friday (at the latest) and the line I'm seeing is very, very faint. Even if things don't work out the way I hope, I still want to let all of you know that you have given me so much support and and I am forever grateful. Even though I've only been actively posting for the past 3 months, I've been a daily lurker since August 2015 and the wonderful ladies on this board have taught me way more than any book or class ever has (you are all the reason I even know what temping and OPKs are!). I cannot wait to see each and everyone of you on your BMB in the near future.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3 months/2 cycles
What were you doing TGKU? Wondfo OPKs, bought CBAD this cycle, temping with wearable BBT monitor
How was your timing? -2, -3
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
Physically, none at all.
I really didn't think this was going to be our cycle and even doubted that I ovulated because my thermal shift was so weak at first. FF didn't give me crosshairs on the "advanced" or "fam" setting, ONLY the research setting. I even popped back over to WTO on Friday because I thought my body had geared up to O but didn't. With increasing temperatures, I did feel a little better, but still cautious. I didn't even intend to test yesterday but I took a wondfo OPK and it was positive. Dipped the CBAD, it was peak. I figured "eh, even though my temps are climbing, I could still be WTO". I dumped the pee cup before I even thought about dipping a wondfo HCG strip, and as soon as I dumped it I thought "Oh that's right, OPKs can pick up HCG, I should have taken one just in case". When I managed another sample, I really didn't think it was going to be +. I thought the more likely scenario would be that I was ovulating later and I was really just ruling out the possibility. So I was SHOCKED to see a second line. Light, but not a what I would call a squinter. But I'm not sure + OPK counts as a "symptom"
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
It was so unexpected, I always thought I would test later and that he would know I was testing and wait with me. He was literally downstairs eating and I approached him with the tests in my hand (yes, I know, how appetizing right?). I just said "I'm pregnant" and he said "Really?!"... he was really surprised and hugged me. He asked when our due date was (based on O, June 24) and tbh he kind of seems taken aback by how real things feel now.
Anything else to add?
A note for those of you who worry about CM (because I did): I only ever saw EWCM by checking internally when checking CP & would have never been able to note anything from external observations. It was never really "abundant", but I guess it was enough.
Since our TTC date got pushed back a couple of times, I have lurked TTGP off and on for 2 years. I was excited to participate and loved being a part of this community through the past couple months. You are all so wonderful! Thank you for the support and the chart stalks

What were you doing TGKU? Temping, checking CM, sex EOD in the FW
How was your timing? -4, -2, -1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? No symptoms, really. I did have EWCM over the last couple days which is unusual for me in the luteal phase. I don't know if that's related at all, I'm cautious about assuming it is.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I'm not very creative haha. He was getting home from a night shift at 7am this morning and I just left the positive test on the bathroom vanity for him to find. He picked it up and said "um, what's this?" "...a pregnancy test".
"AND?? What does it say??" Lol it might have worked out better if I had a digital test instead of a dollar store cheapie that he didn't know how to interpret.
Anything else to add
Being only 11 dpo I hope this one sticks! I'm a bit nervous since it's so early . But I want to thank you ladies so much for your support, this community has been wonderful. It was so helpful to have people to discuss this with, since I dont really discuss it with people IRL. Keep up the science and snark! I sincerely hope you all have your BFPs very soon.

What were you doing TGKU? Femara, Trigger, IUI, temping, preseed, opks, PNV
How was your timing? -3, -1, IUI on O, 1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Not much really. A little more CM than usual but nothing to write home about. I also started having not quite cramps, just discomfort, the last couple days. Best I can describe it is an itch but way down deep in my abdomen.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I took a test last night and thought I was going to fall over basically so I just asked him to come up to our room and handed him the test. He was totally confused and then was just as flustered as me and we both sort of just stared at each other for a while in shock haha
Anything else to add? Not really, thank you so much to everyone who has supported me on here through this! I'm so glad I eventually got the nerve to actually post after lurking because it was so helpful and really made a difference in how I was able to approach going through TTC and IF treatments.

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 6/6
What were you doing TGKU? for the past 5 cycles, religiously temping in addition to OPKs (wondfos and CBAD), however this month I didn't temp because of consistent shift work.
I have to say that the one thing that was glaringly different is the -4 timing. I had EWCM -6 through -4, and it finally occurred to me that maybe this was my body telling me that THESE were my fertile days, rather than waiting for +OPK when EWCM was on its way out and cervix was starting to harden and close. Maybe that was part of it
How was your timing? -4, -1, O
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? So today was my day off so I was able to temp, and that was high, which I of course attributed to it being warm when I was sleeping. Yesterday I was CS my own charts because 12 DPO is usually when things start to go downhill and I know AF is coming. I noticed that my last day of tender breasts is always 11 dpo, so I decided that if my boobs were still sore on 12 dpo then maybe something was going on... and today they were. I also randomly checked CP yesterday and it was HFC and usually it's starting to come down by that point. But I really didn't believe that I could possibly be pregnant.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Before actually seeing those two damn lines I thought I'd not tell him until I could pull a digi. But as soon as they appeared I said to him from the bathroom "you probably should come here now" and showed him the test. He of course replied that he couldn't see the second line, but then after I took a different brand and it was even more glaring he smiled and we hugged and I told him he had 9 months to finish our major renovation project
Anything else to add? This was our last cycle before TTA, and we even debated doing it. So there is some EDD stress because we're kind of pushing things with other things that will be going on at that time, but I keep telling myself that I can't slow my life down and we need to just do what is right for us, and this is right.
Like so many ladies here I thought it would happen on the first try, and the 6 month milestone was a hard one. I thank every one of you for your support and commiseration. This is my first ever BFP and while there are many things that could happen before a THB, today I am pregnant and I will take it
Now to not draw too much attention to my lack of drinking at the 3 day long conference I'm headed to tonight... O:)
