1. 13 weeks! EDD 4/17. Announced today to coworkers and friends.
2. Baby is the size of a lemon.
3. No appointments. Not for three weeks and it feels like forever.
4. Nausea has faded the last three days and it's such a relief! Uterus feels heavy on the bladder when I pee. Feeling twinges and stretching all the time. I'm a petite person and underweight due to nausea so I'm guessing there's a lot of stretching beginning. Still sleepy as heck and peeing a lot.
5. My rant is that being a FTM of a baby that's gotten this far, it feels like it will be so long before I have a bump and feel anything. I'm jealous of you all with bumps and flutters. I'm entering the stage when I've started feeling less pregnant but also don't look it and can't feel it. And being PGAL it'll be a long stretch of waiting.
6. I can eat like two pieces of candy corn. Then it's like, ew.
Appointments this week? NT Scan Thursday! I'm so excited to see the little one. I also being able to see how we are all going through the same types of things at the same time, makes me feel less afraid.
Symptoms? Nausea is starting to get better, now I have to pee all the time, and of course very hungry
Rant/Rave/Questions? I literally don't know if I am just getting fat or getting a bump, so confused.
GTKY: Thoughts on Candy Corn...yay or nay? Hate the stuff, never liked it and I don't get why people keep giving it out.
Appointments this week? We had the NT scan yesterday. Baby girl would not really participate in letting them get the right picture to document the measurements but all looked good. I was just happy to see the wiggly little baby and hear that heartbeat!
Symptoms? Food aversion is still going strong but man, the round ligament (I think that's what it is) pain is legit. I've had it happen like 3 different times getting up from the couch and each time it brought tears to my eyes. Hoping it doesn't stay around for long!
Rant/Rave/Questions? Found out I have an anterior placenta - so bummed that this means I may not feel as much of the baby moving. Hoping it won't be the case!
GTKY: Thoughts on Candy Corn...yay or nay? Eh it's ok - I like it more for decoration than for eating
@M&Max, I had an anterior with DS so my OB told me I may not feel him as early with that and being that he was my first. I felt him from 18 weeks on though and she was surprised at it being that early! I felt him super strongly the whole time too. This one I have the opposite so I am curious to see if I feel more/differently.
Thanks @mylittleirvz - that's super reassuring. With DS I felt him for sure around like 16 weeks but I know I was feeling him earlier but just didn't realize it. I'm anxious to already feel this one but happy that you were able to feel yours strongly the whole time. I feel like them moving around is so reassuring.
You are welcome! Yes, those kicks are definitely reassuring - I am eagerly waiting this time to feel them constant not just "oh, was that one? I think it was...maybe??:
Had our 'meet the OB' appt on Monday, and since she had an inexperienced medical student with her, we got to see and hear the little bugger again so the student could get some practice.
Symptoms? Tired, my temper seems a bit shorter. Can't decide if that's due to working on a college campus, or if my fuse is just shorter in pregnancy.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Got nothin'.
GTKY: Thoughts on Candy Corn...yay or nay? Depends on my mood. Some days yes, others no.
Re: Monday Ticker Change (10/10)
An orange.
Constipation. Grumpiness (see first symptom).
Rave: I had several minutes worth of undeniable flutters from my little fella this afternoon!
Yay (for candy corn)...and Peeps, too, in case you were wondering.
Cravings (chocolate milk and buffalo chicken sandwiches), a bit less fatigue, RLP, tightening in my uterus, some low back pain after work

A lemon
No appointments this week.
Nausea and fatigue are still hitting pretty hard.
I officially can't suck in the belly anymore. I know it's not baby yet but I plan to own it since we have started telling people.
I don't dislike candy corn. Typically, a small handful is enough for me.
15 weeks 1 day
I feel like I will be forever exhausted! Lots of stretching/pulling feeling in pelvic area. BUT I think the morning sickness is gone!!!
yummmmm
1. 13w2d.
2. Pea pod.
3. Not for a few weeks.
4. My nausea seems to be lifting somewhat! My other two pregnancies it lasted until 16 wks.
I am am full on showing and while I love the bump I'm not ready to tell my coworkers yet so I feel like I'm getting some serious side eyes.
5. No to candy corn. Yuck.
