I just want to scream

I'm 34 1/2 weeks. I started having bad cramps a few weeks ago. I went to the hospital and was slightly dilated and put on modified bed rest. I was still having constant cramps but then on Thursday night I started having contractions... irregular at first so I thought nothing of them.

Fast forward to Friday afternoon when they were coming every 5-6 minutes and they were INTENSE. 

Off to the hospital I go and I'm put on a monitor. Right away the nurses are in shock. The monitor was showing off the chart, regular contractions. They were convinced I would go deliver, and so did the doctor until he checked my cervix and no progression at all. Cervix was also still 2cm thick. 

I was in the hospital for 2 nights on morphine, being checked every few hours. Never any progression to my cervix, so they finally discharged me this morning.

The contractions are now back and I seriously just give up... I'm going back to the hospital when I just left there 3 hours ago.

Baby looks perfect on all of the monitors so these contractions don't appear to be putting him in distress. I am just so exhausted and frustrated... night 3 of no sleep

Dec 10, 2015: Cycle 15. Femara 5mg + IUI #2 - BFP #5! C/P 4w4d
Jan 10, 2016: Cycle 16. Femara 5mg + IUI #3 - BFN.
Feb 10, 2016: Cycle 17.  No IUI or meds. Taking a break - Natural BFP Mar 5, 2016!!!! EDD Nov 16, 2016
Moving to IVF March 2016
Beta at 10dpo: 21, Beta at 12dpo: 98, Beta at 14dpo: 264, Beta at 16dpo: 745
U/S 6w6d: single beautiful heartbeat of 121bpm - It's a boy!!!!
Nov 3, 2016: Our family became complete. Welcome DS #2.

    I'm sorry :-(  I had weeks and weeks of strong contractions with my second baby.  They'd be painful, and timeable, every 2-3 minuts, and then peter out after 10 hours or so.  It was so frustrating to never know if things were starting, and to be in pain all the time without progress.  ((Hugs)) I hope it stops for you and gives you a break until it's actually baby time.

    I'm sorry I went through that with my second in and out of the hospital for 4 days before my contractions actually did something... Good luck mama hang in there!!

    I'm sorry mama, that's so rough. It's exhausting and mentally frustrating to go through all of that. Hang in there!

    That is extremely frustrating and I'm sorry. Just keep in mind that when you look at the span of your life, this is a short term problem and that you CAN do this mama! Keep your chin up!

    Hope you manage to get some rest soon! I hate to hear you are going through this!! It won't be long before you forget it all because you are holding that little one in your arms!!! Stay strong , you got this and you have the whole internet here when you need to vent !!
