My mother-in-law commented that my baby looked "a little yellow today" and I had to make up an excuse to feed him in my room so I wouldn't cry in front of her. I know she wasn't trying to be mean, but I feel like it's my fault that he's a little jaundiced.
Awwww @ignoscemihi! I'm so sorry! It is NOT your fault! From what I understand, most babies are somewhat jaundice when they're born or develop it a bit after they're out. You're doing a great job, don't let this make you think any differently!!!
My petty problem.... I'm pretty sure DH was never taught to push in his damn chair when he gets up from the dinner table. Seriously, when we have his parents and brother over for dinner, I look back at the table after we finish eating and there will be one chair pushed in... Mine! Anyway, he ate at the island in the kitchen tonight, got up, and didn't push in his chair (of course). So now, there's a chair literally out in the middle of our kitchen... Blocking the walkway and all. I'm leaving it bc.... I'm annoyed about it lol. Petty, I know.
Thanks @bnsmith85 and @nataliemaephotography. I know my first was a little jaundiced but he wasn't nearly as yellow. I'm just on a postpartum emotional roller coaster.
Ha my petty problem is that we REALLY like our due date. Sooo I am trying to figure out how to do things to make labor start but not TOO soon but just at the right time. Knowing that I can't actually control anything at the same time...
DH has food poisoning and woke me up to clean up a mess. (That makes him sound like a jerk, but it really needed to be done and he's really sick.) I somehow woke up DD and now I have to get her to go back to sleep and it's not even 5 a.m. on my last weekend without a newborn.
@ball4768 that's crummy. And you can't even be mad at him because he's sick through no fault of his own. Hope your husband feels better soon and lets you rest a bit.
I just want to be able to nap laying on my belly again. So much hip pain today and so much to do around my house but I want to be able to nap in comfort so I guess off to clean the toilet I go...
@brzvice My stupid giant milk boobs won't let me sleep on my belly and I hate it... I got to belly sleep ONCE after Johnny was born, then it was snatched back away from me!
my PP is that the furnace is being replaced in the house, but the guys can't replace it until Wednesday. They turned the gas off for safety reasons, so now its freezing, particularly in the bedrooms. It doesn't bother me so much because I've been sweating and hot flashing like crazy; however, now I'm hoping my LO doesn't come until after Wednesday because it's way to cold for her in the house. (we do have a space heater if she does come but last time my SO turned it on it smelled like fish, I've read this is from dust but this space heater is unable to open up to clean so we would have to let the smell/dust burn off )

@Ashleymn... Eek... That would make me nervous too. FX that your LO stays put until, really, like late Monday or Tuesday bc you'd, at least still be in the hospital until they could replace.

You can start getting a membrane sweep close to due date. Sometimes that gets it going. I did it with my first and she came on due date.
@bnsmith85 it was 36 degrees here last night and I feel like our room was probably in the low 40s. Hoping they come early Wednesday so that way if I do happen to labor on late Mon. or Tues. it wouldn't be so bad if I had to stand one night of smelly space heater and being in the hospital would def. make it easier if she does. I just feel like I've been so eager to see her and trying everything to get her to come and now that I'm like ok lets wait til the furnace gets fixed she's going make her debut lol.
