GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories? Holidays at my grandparents house. All of the family was there and all of the cousins spent so much time playing together. All seemed perfect in the world.

GTKY: We used to go to Deep Creek Lake every summer for a week and rent a house with my grandparents and cousins. I was always an early bird as a kid and I used to be up by like 6 am, and the only other person up would be my grandfather. So the two of us would just hang, watching the sunrise over the lake. I love those memories, especially now that he's passed.

Testing: Can't until 16 dpiui unless I want to test out the trigger, and if IUI didn't work, I'm pretty sure AF would have come before that. This is probably good, since I usually have an early-testing habit and it only ever causes heartbreak!

R/R: Off-topic rant: Between football and politics, 2016 is seriously annoying me.

CS/Q: Nada.

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories? My family used to drive 14.5 hours to visit my grandparents once a year, every year. We'd drive through the night, and I'd stay awake in the backseat writing stories in my head about all the places and towns we drove through, that looked so different from where I grew up -- full of excitement about the week with family to come. I still love road trips because they remind me of those nights.

Testing: bfn this morning, won't test again until Thursday. Not bummed yet, my first pregnancy I had a bfn on cd10 and a bfp on cd12 so I'm not out yet.

R/R: It's Thanksgiving tomorrow but we are doing our big dinner tonight. I am pretty excited about eating some turkey! This is also the last "first" holiday for my son (tear) as his birthday hits a few days before Halloween. It has been snowing for 2 days straight and we now have about 4 inches on the ground. We have family photos next weekend so we are off to the city this morning to upgrade our outfits to winter appropriate clothing. My mom also gets here tomorrow. Her and my dad are heading down to Arizona until Christmas and we are throwing around the idea of going down for American thanksgiving!

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories? When I was 11 I was out at my best friends for dinner and while we were eating our parents told us that we were going to Mexico the next day! I'm an only child so it was extra exciting that we were bringing her along. It was a really awesome trip and such an exciting surprise!

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories? i guess it's a since you've been TTC too long when the GTKY questions are repetitive

anyways playing outside with my friends. i'm sure my parents were watching us but it always seemed like we could go wherever we wanted and do anything, especially on bikes or SKOOTERS (remember them?!)

R/R: ugh, I'm going to be pretty honest here and say I'm struggling something fierce today. Earlier this week I really thought this was going to be our cycle. Temps looked great and I had a few other symptoms. Today my temp took a 0.70 nosedive. I decided to test anyway because I knew I would be drinking today, so I feel better about that. I hope to get out of this funk soon, but for now I'm just gonna eat my bacon, drink my caffeinated coffee, and do nothing.

CS/Q: it looked great until today.

R/R: nope... temp dropped .4 from yesterday, but still .3 above the cover line.. I just wish AF would show. I've been nauseous for a week now and I just want to feel better.

Saw a couple of baby announcements yesterday along with a couple of births. I was very excited my friend who has been trying for TEN years is due in April! Two of my friends asked yesterday about our baby making efforts via text. The one wants me to wait until after her wedding, which she thinks will be in June. I'm not even sure they will get married because he is not the right one for her and I brushed it off. I don't want to tell her that we won't be waiting, but I also think I'm out for a June baby anyway... so it doesn't matter.

CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
Christmas was fun, especial my fourth sister's first. I liked that we usually had three different celebrations.

@GeorgiaWife12 Studies show sperm can live for up to 5 days in the reproductive tract. It's not one of the more likely days to lead to GKU, but it's still possible. FWIW, FF only considers -3 to +1 when calculating timing. I have seen ladies on here saying they got KU with just -4.

I really liked going to NY when I was a kid. We had a lot of family there and the smells of their apartments made an imprint on my brain.

Good morning! I'm going to *cautiously* move over here since I've had non-fertile cm for a few days.

@GeorgiaWife6912 I wouldn't think it's super likely that a -5 could lead to getting KU, but since sperm can live for up to 5 days, it could be possible!
@BaileyM321 I loved late night/overnight road trips as a kid. So much imagination!
@BertieMeetsGertie So sorry about the funk you're in. Just know you're not in it alone - I'm going BSC over here as well. Creepy internet hugs.

CD/DPO: 21/not going to call a DPO since I'm only going off cm/cp this cycle

Timing: Again, not going to pinpoint particular days, but we've hit nearly EOD since my last AF ended, so I think pretty good.

Testing: Hoping I can hold out until at least the week AF is supposed to be here. That should be the week of the 17th, if I can wait that long.

R/R: My only rant is the typical BSC that sets in right about now. But, it's a beautiful day here and DH and I have had a lazy morning at home, so I can't rant about too much.

CS/Q: I asked this over in WTO yesterday, but I was way late to the game. Hopefully it's ok if I ask again here today - I didn't see anything in TB BBT guide. I'm sure whatever paperwork comes with my BBT will have some details, but for those who have been temping for a while, I have a quick q on start date. If my BBT comes today, would it make sense to start temping Monday (that would be CD 22), or should I just wait until my next CD1?

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories? All of my vacations as a kid were road trips (I have a lot of siblings so flying was too expensive - I actually wasn't on a plane until I was over 18) and I love all my memories of criss-crossing the country. DH and I have kept up the road trips since we've been together - hopefully it can turn into a family tradition!

R/R: I'm just swinging between "there's no way I won't be KU" to "look at my track record, there's no way I will be KU". pretty much the same as the last 6-8 months of my life. I'm so over it. Every cycle, I'm like, "screw it, we'll ntnp for a cycle so I can get out of that head space" but then FW comes and I'm like GO GO GO! we had guests, which is why we missed O and +1

CS/Q: nothing interesting. My temps have been super consistent (to the point that I'm wondering if my thermometer has started favouring temps?) after the jump, so I'm just hoping they stay up for the next 9 months

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
Sledding at our friends' house on Boxing day - every year.

This is after I gave the neighbor's kids about 20 pairs of jeans for school clothes... kind of excited to go throught and try some new outfits and weed through some things.

R/R: Still no sign of AF. I have had regular 28 day cycles and clockwork AF symptoms but not experiencing any of that this week, so I had really gotten my hopes up. DH is being sweet about it and I'm trying to look at the positives. My birthday is this week and I've made some fun plans with friends and family so trying to look on the bright side, but struggling. I'll hang here until she shows.

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories?

Christmas time when my parents were still married. They hosted lots of family for a few days and it was fun having grandparents and cousins all visiting at the same time. I hope I can host similar holidays when we get our family started, it was really special.

@RunRestRepeat It's really up to whatever you feel like. Your chart probably won't make a lot of sense staring in the middle/tail end of a cycle, but that extra time could help you "practice" the habit of taking your temp at a normal time. Lots of people start on CD1 (or after AF), however.

R/R: My temp went up a bit this morning, messing with my head. I'm telling myself it means nothing and I'm being dumb, but it's hard to keep the crazy at bay. Speaking of crazy (me), DH and I are staying at my parent's house this weekend, and DH and I are sleeping in the same bed I always do when I stay. I woke up around 4:15am this morning and there was this really strange noise that I still can't explain. It sounded similar to rapid breathing, like when a dog is overheating. I couldn't find anything at all that would have it make sense, and it disappeared after about 15 minutes. DH and my dad just laughed and said I had watched too much "Paranormal Witness" yesterday, but I know what I heard and I'm going insane trying to figure out what it was.

My dad was a sea captain while I was growing up, so he would be gone a lot. I remember for my 10th birthday, I not only got a mountain bike (which I had wanted forever), but my dad finally got to be home to help me celebrate. I was so excited, I still remember that day.

R/R: I went to my first true country wedding today and it was a bit weird to wear jeans but almost everyone else did as well so I certainly wasn't out of place. It was so much fun and I loved getting to meet everyone there. I am now looking forward to seeing them all again

GTKY: What is one of your favorite childhood memories? This would be a difficult question for me as I have some amazing childhood memories from holidays with family to hanging at the pool down the street to sleepovers with my friends.
