I can't speak for all the ladies but seeing more than the weekly thread for TTGP Grad is an unfriendly reminder of the lack of baby in my uterus. Or maybe I'm just overly sensitive for whatever reason right now.

@SaphireSweetie88 the weekly thread is for active TTGPers who get their BFP that week. This is the monthly thread for people who are much farther along but like to stick around and keep rooting for those that have been around for a while. And vice versa so we know how they are doing.

Maybe you should be around a little longer before jumping to attack what has long since been standard operating procedure.

@SaphireSweetie88, I'm sure glad you feel so much ownership over a board where you've been hanging out for like two seconds. During the 8 months I spent as a daily poster on this board, I always looked forward to the grad thread as a chance to catch up with old regulars who had taught me so much and whose future journeys I cared deeply about. It never occurred to me to only think of myself. But, I mean, that's just me.

Anyway.

*How far along are you? 20 weeks, 3 days! Just crossed the halfway point.

*Which birth month board/due date? Due February 22 and repping Feb '17 up in hurrrr

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We just found out yesterday that we are team BLUE!!!!! Which was not a surprise to either of us. We have both had a strong boy feeling since the very beginning, to the point that the idea of a girl seemed odd. We would have been delighted either way, though, and it's much more important to us that all his parts appear to be in perfect working order!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share We've picked out a name, but we're not announcing it until our little dude makes his debut

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Shopping has begun in earnest. I've had nursery ideas for months, and we painted the room in July. I bought a few decorations this week, and will be ordering furniture later this month.

@kiki75 - I'm not a 1 /1 er. DH & I have been TTC for almost 1 year. I started my TTC month / cycle count over after my appointment with my new doctor since DH and I now have some sort of direction and understanding of what's been going on.

Apology accepted. You can see why I'd be confused about the count, though, right? IMO if you've been off BC, charting, and having timed sex, you still get to count that time as TTC, even if you're now in RE territory.

Anyways, now back to our originally scheduled programming. Grads, what's up with you?

I want to get into the nursery and do some DIY stuff, but I'm exhausted and I can't stop watching the baking halloween wars. Its really inhibiting my productivity today.

We bought a house in August in anticipation of his arrival and we just finally moved into it this weekend after a very long period of renovating the entire second floor--just in time for the 3rd trimester and to set up the baby's nursery woo.

*Which birth month board/due date? I was a super active TTGPer, turned BMB Abandoner, but my EDD is 1.27.17

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share Her name is Aubrey Paige.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The only concern that we have is that LO has a Single Umbilical Artery (SUA). All of her genetic tests came back normal (A SUA is a soft marker for chromosomal abnormalities) and doctors said that everything looked "perfect" at her anatomy scan, so now we just have to keep an eye on her growth, as restricted fetal growth is a possible effect of the SUA. She was on schedule at the 20w u/s, and now I have to go back for a scan every 6 weeks to make sure she's still on track. I'll go on 10/20 at 26w to check on her. If she looks like she's normal size at 32 weeks, I can continue on with a normal birth/labor process, but if she looks smaller, we will have to look at scheduling a C-section to get her out sooner than her due date.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Way too early. Promised when we found out with DD that we could be team green this time for DH...but I'm going to rescind that promise bc there's no way I can deal with that.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Scheduled first dr appt for 11/3. It's a long wait but I did it last time so I can do it again! I'm thankful I haven't had issues that would require me to go in for earlier testing (is what I keep telling myself when other girls get scans as early as 5-6 weeks). So I feel a little strange posting in a grad check-in so soon after making my weekly grad post on TTGP. I've only been gone for about 2 weeks. Hopefully this won't get too much side-eye. * How far along are you? 5+2

* Which birth month board/due date? EDD is June 9 so I'm on the June '17 BMB.

* Team Pink/Blue/Green? We won't be finding that out anytime soon. We're not 100% sure we want to find out either. We may end up being Team Green. But we have awhile to make that decision.

* How are you doing picking out a name? We've already realized that the naming process is going to be really hard. My family has a tradition where the middle name of the first girl born to a girl (so my child not my brother's daughter) is Jo- something. It's been going for 8 generations and I don't want it to end with me. As an example my Grandmother is Josephine. My mother's middle name is Joann and mine is Joanna. My husband and I have agreed if we have a daughter we'll continue the tradition and we're leaning toward Johanna. I really liked Joelle also but my husband hated it and did an instant veto.

We have no idea on a first name right. For a boy we're thinking maybe Joseph Michael (Or Michael Joseph) since it's a combination of his brother's name and my brother's name. Plus my father-in-law's middle name is Joseph. So we're sorta get to name after 3 people important to us. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it. But we still have a lot of time to decide on names which is good because we'll need it!

* Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? My first ultrasound is Oct. 13th! I'm so excited, and terrified, and I just really want some good news. I'll be 5w6d and that's about as far as I've made it with any of my previous losses. I started having trouble with my first pregnancy at 6w and had lost it by 6w4d so good news at 5w6d would really ease my mind that this time is different and hopefully my take-home baby. My beta series looked great. My last beta on 17DPO (Monday the 3rd) was 743 and was 35 hour doubling. My RE office started me on progesterone as a "just in case" even though my progesterone at 13DPO was 22.6 which is apparently "phenomenal" according to the nurse. So I'm hopeful but still scared. I'm really hoping I have some good news to share in the November Grad check-in.

My aunt's sister in law made me a quilt out of homemade tie dye and it is pink and torqouise with quilted hearts - so precious! It is overwhelming how supportive everyone was. ❤️

*How far along are you? 13w2d... officially 2nd tri tomorrow at 13w3d, but I like to round and so I go with 13 weeks as 2nd tri. I do what I want, ok!

*Which birth month board/due date? Due date is April 15th.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We will be finding out at our ultrasound on November 29th. 7 looooooooonnnng weeks away.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share. We have had our girl name picked out for about a year now. So question on that one. Our "leftover" boy name from when I was pregnant with DD is all of a sudden not ok with DH, so all we do is fight about boys names and not agree on anything. So, a girl would be nice for that reason. I will be able to share some thoughts on the Dec. check in, after we know what it is.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I had the NT ultrasound last week. Baby looked great! If I don't get a call today or tomorrow I can assume the blood work is fine too and we are in the clear. It was fun seeing baby move all around, including some flips. Now I just need to get to the end of November with my PGAL brain before I get another look.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team Green. Had the Cell Free DNA test done today (I'll be 35 when the baby is born). Technically we can find out through that but I refuse to let them tell us.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share. Names were pretty much decided on before I even got pregnant. It will be Virginia Elizabeth if a girl and a long standing, unique family name if a boy.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I have the NT scan next week. Fingers crossed everything goes well. Of course I was feeling great this weekend, which got me all nervous. But the nausea is back today.

It's rough! Partner has a super Cajun last name, so that limits our options to something French sounding. I think we've settled on a girl's first name after his grandmother and my great-aunt and a boy's middle name will be after both of our dads, who share a name. I'm pushing for a boy's name to be after his grandpa.
