I'm so sorry for you I had this in my second trimester and the first few weeks of my third it was awful! Benadryl helped and Tylenol as well as the heating pad good luck to you RLS is horrible!!
I just give in and move them around, flex and relax the muscles.. Can't say for sure if it helps or makes it worse! DH massages sometimes and that feels amazing

I've found that putting lavender oil or Young Living's Peace and Calming blend on the bottom of my feet really helps. And I've suffered two other pregnancies with RLS.
I would sometimes get this before pregnancy and now in the third tri I have noticed it is worse! Usually it is in the evenings when I am winding down for the night. I tend to just go to bed when it starts because thats the only thing that relieves it for me.
I got this a couple of months ago and it was horrible! I found that switching to a prenatal that has iron in it helped significantly, as well as adding more iron to my diet, like eating high iron cereal.
