  Lurking from F17... I wanted to try and help out the mobile friends wanting to gif... this is how I do it. (I'm on galaxy S6, not sure if it matters) 
  
  Find the gif you want to use. Click and hold the gif, if a screen pops up with the "save image" click on that button. The gif should download into your gallery. If that didn't work, then look for the menu button  (mine is 3 dots just under the gif, on the right of the screen) when you open the menu click on "save image". Again it should download into your gallery. Once it's in your gallery come to the thread, and add it like you would your photos or memes. On the top of this box for you to type is little icons, click the one that looks like a folded down piece of paper. Click "choose files" find the gif in your downloaded pictures, in the gallery. Click on the gif to select it, and it should appear.
