Watching my little guy pretend he knows how to swim but taking suicide dives at the pool, working on Halloween costume, we have to go to a book launch tonight allll the waynin Venice and then tomorrow is errands and birthday stuff with the in laws.
All of the things.
We should be finding out what SILs baby is soon though! I'm hoping for a boy.
I've had a big yummy breakfast and taken a nap so far today. Tonight we are going to my BIL surprise birthday party, so hopefully that's fun and there's lots of good food!
SO works all weekend so I'll spend the weekend kicking back with kiddo and trying to clean the house. But I do have some pretty exciting plans for Taco Bell later.
Im spending the weekend at my parents, they live about 1.5hrs away from me. Ive met my cousin for coffee & visited my grandparents. its definitely autumn here now having gotten cooler in the past few weeks, so this evening is being spent by the fire watching our version of dancing with the stars called strictly come dancing & have my dad make me a lovely dinner.
It is Thanksgiving weekend! We are celebrating a day early so that we can all relax on Monday. We had an early Thanksgiving celebration on the 1st with extended family but I can't get enough of the food so the more the better. This one is just my siblings, their families and my parents so still a full house but more relaxed.
Edit I completely forgot, my daughter and I are going to pick apples tomorrow at a farm. (They grow pumpkins too so probably pick up another one) My father takes me and the kids every year but I am not sure if my sins are coming this time. I love it there! We will come home to a delicious smelling house.
This morning we went and bought paint for the nursery. (Yay!). We're just hanging out at home for the rest of day. Doing laundry, painting with DS, watching movies.
tomorrow, we're going for brunch at the in-laws and then going to the restaurant for supper to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday.

Took DD to her physical therapy places Fall Festival. It was dusty and hot AF. Once H is up we are cleaning out his "man cave" (read junk room" and making it a family/ playroom.
Tomorrow is FOOTBALL! My dad has season tickets for the Baltimore Ravens and has been super generous and is letting H and I go to the game. They play the Redskins tomorrow, so it's like a "local" rivalry since the two teams are located so close together. I'm super excited since this will be the only game I can go to this season.
I am off on Monday for Columbus Day so I plan on relaxing until my doctor's appointment.
Just finished painting the baseboards, doors and ceiling in the future baby room. Annnnnnd note to self, hire a painter for the walls. Good lord I hate painting!!
@Janefelicity We kind of tentatively planned an Ireland/Scotland trip for 2018. You make me want to move it up!!
@raptormomma Oh how I miss drinking beer with football. I'm all of a sudden very thirsty
@homemake I'm a Ravens fan and so is the rest of my family, but unfortunately H is a Colts fan :P We always joked that any girls we have would be Ravens fans and any boys would be Colts fans...the amount of Ravens gear our baby girl has so far is a little ridiculous haha

Update on this: the party had really good food, but keg parties are no fun when you're pregnant!
We live in MI so we went to Birch Run Outlets for cute clothes at Oshkosh B'Gosh (so fun to say!) and Carters. We got a bunch of cute things for great prices. We headed over to Franeknmuth for Bronners and dinner at Zender's. It was a great day!
@Janefelicity that's a cool ass fireplace! It also reminds of the furnace that Kevin was afraid of in Home Alone!
ETA: Eeps! I can't wait to introduce Husband to Home Alone, this winter! The movie has been available on HBO all summer but I don't want him to watch it until it gets cold enough outside!
@purplewriter I love Bronners! And Frakenmuth!! I'm in OH, but we have gone up there for the past few years for the weekend, it's about a 4 hour drive. Last year we did a wine tasting at the little winery there, went to Bronners and drunkingly spent way too much. Then went to the brewery and had Christmas Ales. Needless to say, we had about 8 detours for people to puke the next day. Ahhh good times......
Now that the weekend is practically over... the best part of my weekend was watching my college alma mater beat an instate rival on a blocked extra point.
