treat others as you would like to be treated. It seems so simple but people really surprise you (aka Donald Trump).

@lulu1180 lol to SH instead of SS. so funny the little ways we'll try to convince ourselves that we're doing one thing and not another. anyways hope AF stays away!
@BertieMeetsGertie hope AF stays away for you too and you make it to your test day
GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned? not to be afraid to "do you" even if it upsets other people. this isn't to say be a selfish b*tch who is ignorant to other's feelings, but just to realize that sometimes you have to do what is right for you and your mental health even if it means upsetting someone else.

GTKY: hmm... I'm not really sure. I wish somebody told me when I was younger to put more emphasis on making life choices to make me happy.
@sevenn your schedule sounds crazy! Glad you got some solid shut eye!

GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned?
Be self-reliant. My mom never worked consistently and she couldn't save our house when my dad left. My ex BF cheated on me and made me move out. Luckily, I had an education and good job - so I was okay. I totally trust DH, but if anything happens to him at work, I need to be able to take care of myself / him / our future family.
@Nelbetron I agree with you - happiness is so underrated.
@sevenn Yay for almost being done with night shifts. I couldn't do it.
@lulu1180 No regrets is a great way to live!

GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned? To have the confidence to trust my gut. There have been so many times when I went against it and it ended up being the wrong choice, and then I felt resentful to the people or situation that pushed me to decide against my gut.
@sevenn@Nelbetron I guess my GTKY and yours are arguably the same, just stated differently. Interesting how they are so similar. I guess a lot of us consider others a little too much!
Edited for spelling
GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned? To be yourself and do what makes you happy!
@BertieMeetsGertie sorry for spotting
@sevenn working nights sucks! But it stinks even more that you flip flop between nights and days. It's so hard to get adjusted like that.
@nelbetron Whoo hoo for sleeping in! Best feeling ever.
@nytino24 Sorry you didnt make it to see your sister yesterday! That's a pretty big temp spike. Fx you are just testing too early! I 100% agree about being able to support yourself. It's always been a priority for me as well, even though I have a solid marriage and happy life. Like I mentioned to Lulu... I always "what if" way too much.
@vflux33 That's really hard when it's constantly in your face. Hugs to you!

@nelbetron - sorry for BFN's and impending AF.
@NYTino24 - your life lesson is so good. We moved for my DH's job and I could totally not support him or myself if anything happened to him or his job...luckily, his position is pretty darn stable, so that really won't be an issue. But I still hate not being able to support us at.
@vflux33 - It's so hard to not be jealous with people who get Preggers right away. I know for a fact my SIL did (she had used protection until they were married) got married in October, and told us she was preggers at the end of November. And then like a month later my cousin told me she got pregnant on accident. So frustrating! You're torn between happy for them, and jealous. We feel ya, here! Hopefully we're all in the BFP boat soon.

GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned?
oooo that's a toughy. I don't know, I learned at a very young age that life is precious and not permanent (my dad died when I was 3 months old). So I always make sure to tell people I love them....friends, family, etc....you never know when it's going to be the last time and don't take life, people, or your health for granted.
Month/Cycle: 5/5
GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned? This pretty much goes along with what some of the others have said, but just that there is nothing wrong with looking out for your own happiness before someone else's. I spent way to much time putting everyone else's feelings before my own, and it really took a toll on my after a while.

@BertieMeetsGertie Fx the brown spotting is just a fake-out and AF is not on her way!
@sevenn So glad to see you on here again! Hopefully you’re able to post a bit more when you’re travelling
@Nelbetron @KhRun17 Thanks for the encouragement! I really needed it today.
@NYTino24 @Nelbetron @Pinky917 @Dinosaur Sorry for the BFN ladies! Treat yourself today!
@haylsbayls Just wanted to say that you’ll be more likely to get a bfn at 9 DPO
@NYTino24 Sorry you didn’t get to visit your sister like you planned. Hope she’s doing well!
@vflux33 I’m not really a jealous person either but it really affected me when my friend got a bfp after her first month trying. It’s hard not to feel a little jealous any time you see someone else get KU after you’ve been trying for several months
@purplg8tr Have fun at the Garth concert! I wish I had been able to see him when he came to town last year but it sold out waaaaaaaaay too quick
@GeorgiaWife6912 There are days that DH just irritates me to no end and I have to stay away from him so I don’t snap lol. Hope he stops driving you crazy! Also, my post-o temps are lower than the last 2 cycles, I’m just attributing it to the lower temps here and the fact that we haven’t turned on the heat yet
@rainbowturtles You need to share that recipe!

GTKY: What is the most valuable life lesson you have ever learned?
That sometimes, despite my best efforts, things are going to turn out how they're going to turn out and I have to be okay with that. I'm incredibly stubborn so it was a hard one to learn.
Edit: words are hard

@sevenn that's great you got to sleep in. I used to work nights, and that sleep after shift work is wonderful, like nothing else.
@NYTino24 @Nelbetron @Dinosaur @Pinky917 I'm sorry for the BFNs, ladies.
@vflux33 I feel you. You can be happy for someone but you can't change your own feelings about your own situation. You're only human and I'm sure many, if not all of us here have felt the same way before. Hugs.
@KhRun17 candy and Titanic? Amazinggg. I'm just gonna leave this here-
@rainbowturtles , I'm so sorry about your dad. That is a very valuable life lesson.

GTKY: Hm...I would probably say, not making decisions out of fear. Some things you're never truly ready for, you just have to take a leap of faith. If you truly want it, go for it now. Life is too short. I got my heart broken a lot in college from just diving in to things, but I wouldn't take back or change any of it and I learned a lot. Plus that's how I met my husband, giving him a shot even though the timing wasn't great (I had just got out of a bad relationship).

@Sirius37 I got EWCM for 1-2 days post O this cycle, and if anything I O'd earlier than normal (for me). I think it's pretty normal --especially considering O can last up to 48 hours, so one of those days past O could have still actually been mid-O for you.
@NYTino24, isn't it great when our bodies like to play tricks on us? I hope you're not out yet!!
@KhRun17, peanut butter m&ms are the best!
@Pinky917, sorry for the bfn

I greased a glass lasagna-type/sized casserole dish and spread frozen hashbrown pieces on the bottom. Dice 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, and 1 small onion. Sauté in a pan until softened/translucent and then spread over hashbrowns. I used deli black forest ham and just diced up a bunch and spread it over the veg. Then spread grated cheese over all of it (I used cheddar and mozzarella and a touch of asiago just because I had all three lol). In a medium mixing bowl I lightly beat 12 eggs and then added 1 cup of milk, s&p, and some Italian seasoning. Pour egg mixture all over the contents of casserole dish. Then I covered with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. This morning I heated the oven to 375F and popped it in for 35-40min while we were still lounging in bed lol. The kitchen smells amazing when you come out eventually lol! It makes six large servings, so will feed the two of us for three days; which is the entire long weekend so yay!
CD/DPO: 28/7(?)
Timing:-3,-2,O
Testing: maybe tomorrow because I'm crazy, if I don't remember with flu I'm waiting until Thursday
R/R: my son slept worse than he ever has last night. I'm fricken exhausted. My husband is driving me fricken crazy and was absolutely no help last night or today, and to top it off my BSC is at an all time high. I've been having crazy dreams the last 3 nights, I feel like I can smell everything and not knowing when I actually ovulated is driving me nuts. Although with my son sleeping the way he has been I would never get an accurate reading so I don't even know if there is much of a point to temping... fml
CS/Q: naw
GTKY: probably to just roll with the punches. A lot can happen when you try to have a plan and sometimes you just need to allow things to fall into place. Forcing things doesn't usually result in the best outcome
