WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, temping, CM, charting, HIO EOD in FW
R/R: Wow, did it get "cold" in our house overnight. We have our thermostat set to turn on the heat if it gets cold enough or air if it gets hot enough and its one degree from turning on. Time to turn on our heated bathroom floors (highly recommend getting those). Plus my temp was really low for me this morning. Five minutes after I posted this, out heat turned on, haha!

I LOVE our set of Calphalon Unison pots and pans. They are either sear and/or truly non stick (nothing has ever stuck) and dishwasher safe (a must for us). Although I've become a Pampered Chef products hoarder over the years so a lot of their stuff is right up there.

R/R: DH and I have been thinking about going out of town for a weekend, and last night we booked a room at a super quaint B&B! We are from the city, but heading to a more rural area and I'm so excited to experience Fall in a farm town.
CS/Q: I am annoyed with myself and my chart but for the sake of you all I'm not going to keep harping on it.
I LOVE our meat thermometer. When I first started cooking I was so wary about meat being undercooked, so I would cook everything until it was incredibly tough and dry. Now that we have the thermometer, everything comes out perfectly and is rarely over-done!
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, CP, Mucinex, hopefully some sex if H is ever going to feel up for it
R/R: My Internet access is fixed! However I'm really mad because when the Comcast guy came he said the splitter that was set up in the apartment had probably been drastically reducing our speeds for the past year. It was set up by Comcast and the guy who set it up knew that we only needed on access point so the splitter was unnecessary. So basically we've been paying for more than what we were getting because Comcast set our stuff up incorrectly.
CS/Q: None.
H is more of a cook than I am, so I'm sure he has a favorite. I don't really have a favorite. However, if there is some kitchen gadget that can shred chicken for me, I want it and that would become my favorite because I hate doing that by hand.

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, Vitamin D, fish oil, CoQ10, RRL tea, Preseed, GDTPT EOD+, Wondfos & CBDA OPKs
R/R: I think that my CBDA is jacked up. It is still giving me a reading of low even though when I pull the stick out, there is a second line and Wondfos are getting darker, too. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't start using it until closer to O so it never had a genuine low day or if it lost its marbles between June and now or what.
CS/Q:
GTKY: 1. My old cast iron skillets. Antiques are best because they were machined for a smooth finish. Modern ones have a more pebbly texture. I like those ones too but my old Wagner Ware are the best. 2. My set of Joseph Joseph utensils and spatulas. They're the right amount of sturdy and they don't need spoon rests. I don't use the holder and just put them in the drawer, though. Edit: fix typo due to autocorrect. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002TLSSXO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_XFp-xb8NCGS6D

@kat0607 that's nice that you booked that!!! Enjoy!!!

R/R: Sorry, serious rant. I run a school that primarily serves low income, minority students. I got an email yesterday from a teacher at a local school complaining about two of our athletes choosing to kneel at a sports game. The language in the email was blatantly racist and implied that our school should deny our students the right to freedom of speech and expression. I was livid all of yesterday and still am. It is just an unfortunate reminder that racism is still alive and well in America.
CS/Q: none
My steamer tray (don't know the technical term) because I love steamed vegetables. It's so easy to just throw water in a pot, put the tray and pick a veggie to steam.
@kiki75 DH loves cast iron skillets/Dutch ovens. He used them on our smoker. I just got my first Joseph Joseph kitchen item yesterday. It's a rolling pin that gets you the correct thickness. I'm hoping it helps my pie crusts.
@WillRunForWine21 I didn't know there's a spiralizer for KitchenAids. I gotta check that out! I was thinking of getting one from PC. It may be worth seeing if Calphalon would still honor the lifetime warranty on the pan DH ruined?
@bmo88 I saw a story on FB about some football players kneeling. I wonder if it was about your school.

WAYDTGKU temping OPK preseed
R/R: sorry I didn't post yesterday. I ended up going to urgent care instead of my OBGYN. For the last week I've felt really off... I've had a headache that won't go away, I'm dizzy, nauseated, and I've been having that ovary pain that I mentioned the other day. It's been getting worse and worse.
So I went to urgent care and got a full blood panel, and the doc did a bunch of other tests. My bloodwork was normal, so she's sending my bloodwork for further testing. I won't have the results until Tuesday or Wednesday unfortunately. She gave me a torodol shot for the headache, it didn't help much though. I dunno wtf is going on but I feel like total crap

@bumpybump OMG heated floors! I would love those!
@julesDP *tw* enjoy your nephew time! I would have to say the only real reason I enjoy going back home is to see my niece
@britters314 sorry to hear about Comcasts screw up. I hate Comcast, my dad used to have them and they were awful.
@kiki75 Iron skillets are amazing! We have one with little ridges on it and it's like we are grilling out almost.
@willrunforwine21 sorry to hear that DH is not better =/
@WillRunForWine21 We have done shredded chicken in the crockpot and it was great, but usually I'm shredding chicken for a specific chowder recipe that requires we cook the whole breast in the pot and then shred it at the end. I don't know if it would work well using pre-shredded chicken.
@beachbunnyxo123 Oh, I'm probably going to call and complain, but I doubt they'll give me anything and there's nothing I can do about it because they basically have a monopoly of this area.
@britters314 VERY jealous of your heated floors!
@bmo88 Ugh, sorry to hear about that email. That's infuriating.
@tripledaggerWed95976 Not to make you paranoid, but did they test you for an ectopic pregnancy? FX that it's something less serious, but make sure they've ruled that out - sometimes it doesn't show up on a HPT, so you should get an ultrasound.

@JulesDP - Enjoy the time with your nephew
@britters314 - That sucks. Have you tried talking to Comcast and seeing if they would be willing to give you some sort of consideration since you weren't getting everything you paid for due to THEM setting it up wrong. Our internet provider is usually pretty good about things like that.

It's not been a vacation. It's been nothing nothing but stress. We left a day early because of the threat of flooding from Matthew and honestly because I don't think I could've survived another day of DD being so wildly off schedule that she's a jerk like she has been. R/R: Ugh, about two weeks ago, we got one of those constantly flowing fountains for our cat because she doesn't drink enough water. MH set it up on our hardwood floors for some unknown reason, and I was in the middle of a few things when it happened, thought to myself "I need to move that or put something underneath of it" and then....it never crossed my mind again. Cut to today, the fountain finally gets moved, and there's now a water stain on the floor. We can sand it and re-stain, but I'm just frustrated with myself that I didn't speak up about it or fix the problem myself at the time when I saw it.
CS/Q: @adirat and @Pepper16, thanks again for chart stalking for me yesterday. It looks like our hunches were right, and I'll end up ovulating early this cycle. Really glad I've been temping so I was able to catch it.

@leilac that was my initial thought too but the ovary pain has kind of taken a back seat when compared to the headaches and dizziness and stuff so I'm thinking probably not the case. However, they did do bloodwork to make sure. Unfortunately, it's not in the bloodwork that came back immediately it's in the one that's coming next week :-/
@nytino24 I hadn't even considered it, but I just looked up the symptoms and most of them are consistent with how I'm feeling. I'm going to call them and make sure they are testing for it. Thank u for the tip!

R/R: Our car won't start. And we only have one, which means we're kind of stuck at home until the garage opens on Monday and they can *hopefully* fix it. Thankfully both H and I work at the hospital and we live right next door to it so at least getting to work is not an issue. But we had plans for our anniversary on Monday so we'll likely rent a car once one of those places open up on Monday as well.
On the plus side, my mother in law just gave us the sweetest anniversary gift! She made a scrapbook with stuff from my med school graduation, our engagement, shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and honeymoon. It was really touching to see all the things she saved, including the invitation i sent them to my graduation and the tickets for my graduation. I teared up!

@kat0607 Totally agree on the meat thermometer - I love ours!
@britters314 I second the Kitchenaid being a good shredder. It's obviously a big investment, but it's way more of a multi tasker than I ever realized!
@WillRunForWine21 We do chicken in the crockpot all the time! Our favorite is to dump in the chicken breast, top with a jar of whatever salsa we have around, cook for 8 hours on low, and shred with tongs. We use it on tacos, on nachos, or over rice! @manillabar - this is a super easy "recipe" if you are still looking for crockpot ideas!
