Seriously. I cry at the stupidest things at work and I try so hard not to let it show. We are performing Fantasia with the film and I started crying at one of the new parts from the 2000 version. Because flying whales
Not YET but I am prepared. Then just wait until after you have the baby. I cried when DS's umbilical cord fell off because "that's how we were connected".
@lmc929 Oh man!! After DS was born I was a teary mess!! But I feel like I cried over stupider things while pregnant. Haha. @devow27 Seriously, I'd cry too. I feel ya!
When I was pregnant with DS1 I cried and threw a remote at DH because he wasn't getting ready fast enough to go to dinner. I was a tad hangry getting emotional is totally normal and just gets worse as pregnancy continues in my experience.
Music is the fastest thing to make me emotional these days. Anything that has a lyric with even the slightest connection to LO or my H gets the tears going. Yesterday it was Paramore's "Still Into You"
I've been able to keep my emotions in check so far if I avoid everything that could be slightly sentimental but my first pregnancy I cried for about 45 minutes when I found out my favorite Epcot ride was closing.
I cried yesterday because Starbucks made my decafe Americano incorrectly......yeah. First world (and pregnant) problems.
My emotional state is what made me think I was pregnant! This time and with DD. With DD I threw my husbands iPad at him yelling over who knows what. Very unlike me! Then this go round I cried at an amusement park while my DH and DD rode in a paddle boat together and I started to worry that they would turn over and drown. Like, this is a little kid amusement park in a "pond" that I could stand up in. I was sobbing out of fear. (Wtf!?!?!) My husband saw this and was like: You're pregnant.
I don't cry, I just get these moments of insane irritability- like suddenly I am a raging pissed off lunatic about the littlest annoyance. Thankfully I recognize it this pregnancy. Last pregnancy I was just a crabby freak the whole time. Anyone else have this?!
@kjoypaets I've been mostly irritable so far. Admittedly I'm not the most patient person to begin with, but bizarre things have been getting under my skin much faster lately. My husband complaining about things (even legitimate things) and coworkers talking too much in our open office while I'm trying to get work done have both made me snippier than usual lately.
That said, I did tear up today while watching a football game when a guy got hurt and his coach came out and held his hand until the cart came out to get him, at which point a chunk of the team came out to be around him. I watch a lot of football and that is NOT a normal reaction for me.
@kjoypaets Ah yes, the inexplicable rage. I was the poster child for this one last time! Hahaha So far I have been only moderately irritated by life. I expect it to come back full force by third tri
As for the weepiness, I'm usually pretty stoic, but one of my team members walked into my office while I was crying about Ellen helping that bus driver who saved the kids from the burning bus. He said it's great to see that I'm tender hearted. Oh if only he knew! It's just pregnancy hormones, man... Just the hormones
I got teary eyed as my DH and I walked through the Target baby aisle yesterday. This is our first baby so I was showing him things I want/interested in. The tears dried up pretty quickly and laughter ensued when DH said "I'm sure glad you know what all of this stuff is for because I thought that baby monitor was a cell phone". haha...he's going to be clueless for a while.
Okay that damn Amazon commercial where the baby cries at the dog and then they buy him a lion mane and then she likes him...damn you!
Last time there was a Tide commercial where they washed the dogs favorite toy and he was longingly staring out the window missing it and then they were reunited. I bawled for hours. For. Hours.

Hi @katieharpiceland that's really sweet.., the stupid ducks always get me at the end of pomp and circumstance (the noah's ark bit) I've been known to release a tear or two and that's when I'm not pregnant!!
@Assiram42 - that dog with the lion mane gets me every time! He just wanted that baby to love him so bad.
Then there's the commercial with the little boy who dresses up for Halloween and makes like an imaginary guy hanging off him. And at first you think it's just a clever way for him to get more candy but then at the end he gives the extra bucket of candy to his friend in a leg cast who couldn't go trick-or-treating.

Today my sister sent me this video and I fell apart again. Too much sweetness!
