My WTF is my H for basically making my birthday yesterday suck.
Short version: he forgot...then he remembered...then his way to celebrate was to take me to a pizza place of his (not my) choosing and order a pizza he (not I) wanted that I didn't like and therefore didn't eat.
Also-this was the first birthday we got to be together for, since he didn't move here until January of this year. Oh, and also- for his birthday in April I planned a whole day for him of things he wanted to do, and he loved it.
So. Yeah. Thanks for the great memories of our first time celebrating my birthday together!

Sorry I need somewhere to bitch! My SIL little sister is being induced the same week I'm due. She has cholestasis. I don't care that she's going to have the baby before me, I just don't want them to be the same day and for some strange reason I have a bad feeling that will happen. Go freaking figure. I know I sound like a whiny brat but this just irks me. She wasn't due till Nov 11.

I'm still sick and supper uncomfortable and every morning I leave the house for work while DH stays home. He's not doing anything wrong, it's not his fault he was laid off, but I'm resentful anyways

@bamacoop - That sounds like something my husband would do. He always buys me gifts he wants me to have, not what I actually want. It's infuriating. It's like they're small children handing mommy a bundle of weeds thinking they're beautiful flowers.... only they're not small children. They're adults who should friggin know better. @sportiegrl1213 - I completely understand. Who wants to share the spotlight during possibly the most important moment in their life? No one! One of the reasons I want Reagan to come early is because her cousin's birthday is Oct 28th. I want their birthdays to be as far apart as possible. Joint parties are dumb. I don't ever want them to be an option. Also, I don't want to fight over what weekend we'll have their separate parties on. Yuck.
@bamacoop you are not alone, my husband didn't get me anything for my bday even though I pretty much told him just what I wanted, we've been married 7 years and I feel like he doesn't know me at all most times. Then 3 days later he brought home a box of our fave chocolates from sees candies but ate 1/2 the box lol, whaaaatt? My Wed. Just started but I thought labor was happening for sure last night until I woke up today -- wtf Wednesday where did you come from ?!
@bamacoop Oh girl that's super crappy, I'm so sorry! I would be sad & bitter for sure. My H is usually great about presents throughout the year for "no reason", so because of that he hates days where he is "obligated" to get something, such as Christmas, birthdays, etc. So typically not a whole lot of effort goes into making those days special, although some years are better than others. Last year for my birthday I got a used weight rack with various sized dumbells. Which is cool..but not exactly a fantastic birthday gift. And since half of them were over 25lbs, obviously more for him than me. Oh well. Truly sorry your day wasn't better though, especially this year when you've spent the majority of your year growing a human!!

My Wednesday bitchfest is that I am still super short of breath and I am sick of being short of breath. I was so hoping baby would have dropped by this point in the pregnancy so my lungs could get a little more room -- but nope, not my baby. I've been saying all pregnancy that this baby is way up high, and while I guess it was nice to have that suspicion confirmed by my growth scan on Monday, I think knowing that baby's head is squished up right next to my lung is making things worse psychologically. Totally aside from the breech issue, which is tough in and of itself, I just want to be able to BREATHE again . . .

WTF to my step-mom... the last several times I've seen her, she keeps rubbing the top of my belly to "measure" to see if I've dropped yet. Since that's how she felt when she dropped, obviously I will be the exact same way. She says I haven't dropped but my OB says I have. I guess I better disregard the medical professional. I told her my OB said yesterday that he's dropped and her first question is "well, is there extra room below your breast?" WTF does that matter? My body is not your body. Let's just trust the doctor. Oh, and my dads friends birthday is tomorrow and her best friends birthday is Sunday so I have to "try" for either of those days. Ok, I'll get right on it. What is with people insisting on babies being born on other people's birthdays? It's so weird.

This is probably the lamest WTF ever, but I am 39 weeks and still at work (plan to work until labor). My coworker who is a middle aged woman who never had kids puts her hands on her hips when I walk through the door and goes, "COME ON OUT BABY!" EVERY. #&^%ing. DAY. This is actually more annoying than the act of going into work. It took all my power today to force a sort of grimace and walk by. She responds with, "Not a good night of sleep?" I say, "Not a good anything."

@MRSCORKER my baby has dropped too and she is DEFINITELY also still up in my rib cage. If I push her out of my ribs, I can feel more pressure on my cervix. My point here being... You're right. Your step mom is crazy. Also, I hate when people touch my belly. Especially if it's so they can determine something about my pregnancy. No... Save that for my doctor. Thanks!
@bnsmith85 Yes! I'm not even feeling him in my ribs and and I'm breathing fine (unless I stuff myself with food). Of all the people to touch my belly, I don't so much mind my immediate family doing it but there is something about people telling me "facts" about my pregnancy based on their experience and not even thinking for a second that maybe everyone is different. Also, don't try to tell me that I'm not close to going into labor, I refuse to believe that.

My mom kept saying things like, maybe X will happen to you because that's how my labor was or when I was pregnant..... She stopped saying those kinds of things when I reminded her that if labor and all parts of pregnancy were heriditary, women wouldn't have different labor or pregnancy experiences with their 2nd + children. That doesn't really work for your SM... But it definitely made me feel better to say to my mom lol
Just got a call from the OB saying I have no current insurance ... WTF called the insurance and got the run around ended up with voice-mail ... I'm fucking losing my shit !!! And I think this just jump started labor ... fuck this sucks.

Maybe I'm missing something here... Did the charge for your insurance come out of your/your H's paycheck? If so, you should have coverage and ultimately shouldn't have anything to worry about.
No its state benefits ... and I've had problems all pregnancy long with insurance companies & now today I get this call saying I've been disenrolled ... but no explanation as to why. I've been calling again and again and keep getting voicemails. So I'm going into the office after work to try to fix this.
My boss just told me I definitely have "at least three weeks left". First, I was not aware that he had a side gig as a fortune teller. Second, I am due 10/16 so under no circumstances will I be pregnant three weeks from now. JUST NO.
