Why do my days off have to go so freakin fast? Seriously! They feel like 5 minutes, not 2 days, and then it is back to the full time work week before I even realize it. This blows. I need a vacation....just away from work...to get baby stuff done and relax....cuz I am getting sick and tired of going to work. I appreciate having a good job especially when many in the world need one....but I am NOT IN THE MOOD TODAY
I was coming in here with it in my head to gripe about Mondays!! Looks like I'm not the only one. Lol I feel bad for everyone having to go to work, unless you're lucky and just love your job. I'm not even going to work, but my kids have school and I still have an alarm that wakes me up. I have to get all their stuff together and then every night they have homework. I'm so excited for Friday's it's ridiculous. But it's Monday
Totally agree @BlondePeanut. So now I'm sitting at work, not motivated to do anything and counting down the hours until I can leave. I also Bump way more than I should during the day...
Work is way slow right now for me, so I spend most of my work day on The Bump, Facebook, or Pinterest. Or working on PTA stuff, cuz I'm a cool PTA president mom LOL! I get the whole weekend off this coming weekend though, so COME ON FRIDAY!
This is my 3rd pregnancy but first experience with true blue baby brain. I was supposed to come into work for a few hours this weekend because I missed Thursday for my daughter's field trip and there was actually something time sensitive I needed to do... totally spaced on it! Like it didn't even cross my mind until I was eating breakfast with my 3 YO and all of a sudden it hit me. Ugh. Now my usually chill job is going to give me one of the most stressful Monday's ever.

this is the most ridiculous problem. I was at the nike outlet store and bought a pair of leggings without trying them on.. they're too big and i wore them anyway and keep having to pull them up.

Another work related BF. My boss is so weird and such a creeper sometimes. If he's at my desk and wants to check the time he will literally grab my phone and press the home button. Just now he walked in while I was in the middle of something that had a deadline asking about my safety docs. I asked him to give me a minute to finish up and then he started going through my desks and file cabinet. I asked him if there was an emergency audit or something and he said no it just occurred to him that he hasn't seen them in awhile. Wtf. I feel like it was an excuse to go through my shit.

I emailed my CFO to ask about working from home tomorrow morning because my doctor's appointment is at 10:15 and the commute from my house is 1/2 that from the office. I usually get to work around 8:30; so, I'd only be here for like an hour of work time and then have to leave to make my appointment. He called and told me that he was going to approve it but one of the VP's just sent an invite for an 8 a.m. meeting he'd like me to join. So, now I have to get up extra early and spend a bunch of extra time in my car (and probably less time working overall). If this is just an excuse for the guy to hear himself talk for an hour, I'm going to lose it.
When I got out of the shower this morning, I was blow-drying my hair before I put my bra or shirt on and I accidentally ran my hairbrush over a very sore nipple. I don't know how I managed that one, but it sucked.
I hurt my pointer finger last night, no clue what I did to hurt it. Nothing is coming to mind. But since work last night, my finger has been hurting, and today it's a little swollen and I can't bend it at all. It's annoying me so much. Because it's not hurting hurting. But enough to just annoy the crap out of me.
@raptormomma That is the very serious reason why our only planned trip this pregnancy is a driving trip next month. My car, I get to decide what food (and people) are allowed in it.
My MBF is also minor, but I'm going for it anyways. My MIL keeps asking if we are going to an out of town family reunion at the beginning of April. DH has already told her no, when he told her we are pregnant.
She keeps bringing it up to me, as if I'm going to undermine what he already told her, and/or we will just change our minds. I do not, as a first time parent, want to drag my brand new approximately 6 week old baby several hours from home to stay in a cabin with all 9 of you (plus the dog, which I'm allergic to!), and then the next day drag said tiny baby to meet 60-ish extended family members. N.O. That sounds like the worst, most germ infested game of pass the baby ever.
Plus, due dates are just a guess. If I'm a week + late, he would be even younger and I could still be recovering from delivery.
She basically wants us to come so she can show off "her new baby" and also so she will have someone to actually split the cabin bill with... and so she can cram people in our car. This has happened before, where we are expected to foot half or more of the bill, because the rest of the grown children are broke. Nope, sorry.

My boss was being annoying this morning because his schedule was weird today so I didn't get my lunch until 1 when I usually take it at 12. So I was starving. Now he's stuck in client meetings all afternoon and I am dealing with a regular client that is very upset. He's a good guy and I know why he's so upset but I literally can't do anything for the situation and he just keeps calling to talk to my boss saying my boss is avoiding him and he hates the company because of situations like this. I just want to cry!
SOB! went on a walk, and I dropped my phone and shattered my screen. I hate mondays. Now I need to figure out how to afford to replace my phone.
Google your local area and see if you have a phone repair place. We have one here called Cell 911 or something like that. I got a new iPhone screen for like $100. Not cheap but better than the alternative!
Full story in ransoms but my hand is close to twice its normal size after being stung yesterday. Spent most of the day driving my 2 youngest to their allergy appts 1.5 hrs away and my hand ached the whole time. Can it be a few days from now so that the swelling will have gone down??
@scottipino I saw your post in randoms, and that sucks so hard. But at the same time it's kind of hilarious and might make for a fun family story one day. Hope everyone's okay!
Ohhhh @WinchesterGirl so absolutely not! Way to stand your ground!!! The germs, the show off game, the potentially non-vaccinated people who will give your baby whooping cough, blinding them from camera flashes for family photos, or a herpes outbreak by being all in their face and kissing them! NO WAY! (Yes, I'm quoting every horror story article circulating Facebook right now) Not to mention your own recovery time and if you're BF'ing, you'll be whipping the tits out every 5 minutes which will not be fun! Keep it firm, girl!
@tentacular , I seem to be the only one who reacted with swelling. Everyone rallied and pictures were taken. Just wish I could take some Motrin. Mean mommie made the 4 year old get her flu shot today which she said hurt more then the stings.
