Yep, I like this weekly thread. Helps me stay up to date on those not posting appointments on my ticker change day. I have a normal midwife appointment tomorrow (12w3d). Excited to hear that heartbeat. We saw the heartbeat on the dating ultrasound 3 weeks ago, but haven't heard it yet. First time with the doppler. My midwife said at my last appointment to schedule this one in 3 weeks, instead of 4 because it is so fun to hear that heartbeat. She is awesome. On Thursday I have my NT ultrasound and blood test and will also meet with the genetic counselor for the normal 1st tri screening. Super excited to see baby moving around more this time. Sad that DH can't come along this time and am yet again beyond annoyed with the no video rule. At least I can show him some pictures.

I had an appt this morning. 11w 5d. I'm up 1 pound. Bp is good. Heard heartbeat with doppler. 169bpm. Got my flu shot. Was told I can stop the progesterone suppositories. Yay! Nt scan is Thursday. Next appt is Halloween.
Just got back from my appointment! Had my prenatal screen/NT Scan today. Both babies are measuring exactly where they need to be (13+4.) BPM were both 153 and this was the first time I got to hear it, amazing! The doctor also told me I should consider starting to take 83mg Aspirin daily as it's really helpful for lowering blood pressure (since I'm more at risk for high blood pressure due to the twins) and allows more blood flow to them.
One thing I was NOT prepared for - how they get the babies to turn. The nurse starts pulsing the scanner thingy on my gut - I'm like "whatcha doing there?" She goes "Oh, this is how I get them to turn to do my measurements.. it sometimes works"..."interesting!" Haha! Well, it worked!

When I'm laying down in bed I am pretty sure I've felt a few light flutters but nothing for positive yet. Can't wait to feel all those kicks - my favorite part of pregnancy! I missed it so much after DS was born.
I had my NT ultrasound today.. baby was upside down facing the back and had legs crossed and would not turn at all.. soo I have to go back tomorrow and hope s/he is more cooperative!
Had my NT scan on Wednesday. Got to see my jelly bean. First blood tests results and NT scan reveals everything normal as of now.
I learned that LO egg (ovum?) came from my right ovary. The technician pointed at a round black spot and she claims that's how she can tell. She says she loves sharing that info.
I had my NT scan today and learned that I have a retrograde uterus. It was next to impossible to see the little bub. The tech also tried a transvaginal ultrasound but no dice. We get a few extra pictures and we got to see baby bean wiggling around so that was a plus. Doctor said that since I'm not considered high risk of AMA, she's not too concerned and that the blood test should suffice.
Also, got my blood drawn and they had to take 10(!) vials of blood.
