Another educator! (Are we too surprised....June is such a teacher baby month if you can time it right! Lol!) I teach communication (public speaking, interpersonal communication, etc) at the community college level.
I am a Chief in the world's finest Navy.. United States Navy. I've been in for 15 years.
@Assriam42 I hope your job description is not a dig or jab at veterans "incompetent veterans" seems mean.
@Wearmi1, my H and I are both Iraq vets, so the utmost respect for military/vets. It's a term we are phasing out, as it is a little harsh, but right now the term used is 'incompetent' or unable to manage their own affairs.
I am a Deputy Sheriff, a Juvenile Detention Officer, a Dispatcher for law enforcement for our city and county, fire, ems, search and rescue, and a 911 operator. I have a 13 almost 14 year old son and a 6 month old daughter. My other half is also a Deputy Sheriff, an Adult and Juvenile Detention Officer, Dispatch, and 911 Operator. He also has a 14 year old son and our daughter. Our family is 5 strong going on 6
@babytuck15 Wow! That works out perfectly for y'all!
-stuck in the quote box- It's perfect except I run a huge event at our church in July....yeah, probably not gonna happen this year. But I'm also a little excited that I'all have to have an assistant to help.
I'm a stay at home mom of a 3.5 year old boy, and 21 month old girl. I'm also a consultant for a clothing company, working in the evenings when kids go to bed.
I am currently finishing up my Master's degree to be a school counselor. So, right now I am interning full time (unpaid!) for this school year, and hoping for a real paying job next school year!
I'm an RN, but work as a regulatory affairs coordinator for the transplant department. Its Monday-Friday and I'm seriously thinking I need to go back to three 12s, I will have 2 babies under 2! I hate being away so much!
I'm a serial entrepreneur I currently own two businesses that I operate from home. The one I have been doing for 4 years and I make table linens that I sell online. The second is a craft - course kind of thing
Another teacher here! I am a teacher of the deaf and work with students that are mainstreamed into their public school. This year I have a preschooler and 2 middle-schoolers.
At night and on the weekends I sell Usborne Books!
I too am a teacher. Hoping I don't feel too fatigued! I teach math and I'm constantly on my feet. Looking into skechers memory foam shoes. Ideally, maternity leave would be until December, but I'm not sure if it's possible.
@LMMama I would love to go back to school to become a school guidance counselor! I just can't fathom the thought of more student loans. I hope your internship goes well!

Thank you! I love it so far. Yeah the loans are tough. I figured I was already in deep from undergrad why not add many more thousand?
I am a Chicago public school, 5th grade teacher. Luckily I find the frequent urination happens mostly at night (maybe I am not drinking enough water) and there is no morning sickness yet (knock on wood). I've been taking 15-20 minute power naps during my prep or lunch- the exhaustion is intense and the no more coffee doesn't help.
I've been in retail management for ten years (nine with Aveda), and in May dropped everything to become a hairdresser. It's the best decision I have ever made. My dream is to open my own Aveda Salon and Spa, and become a salon educator, but now I'm working on logging hours toward my license. ❤️ Wouldn't trade it for the world!
