How far along are you? 29 weeks
How big is baby? acorn squash or butternut squash. just in time for fall!
Symptoms/Appointments/what's happening this week? had a bit of nausea yesterday but it seems to have passed. midwife appointment tomorrow, not excited about it since I have nothing to discuss and i'm sure it will be in and out, but I still have to go through downtown traffic during rush hour. not much happening this week otherwise except i'm going to try to see if I can get three carseats across in the back of my sedan. wish me luck!
R/R/Q? I wish it felt like fall. I really just want to live in leggings, boots and scarves but it's still too hot here.
GTKY: what is your favorite autumn indulgence? (treat, comfort food, etc) I make a fantastic chili. DH has actually convinced me to make it for dinner today. I said, it's not cold outside yet, and he goes, "but it's not hot indoors"! otherwise I love pumpkin everything. except for the pumpkin cookies I tried to make yesterday that refused to cook. what kind of cookie won't cook in 20 minutes? they hit the trash.

Symptoms/Appointments/What's happening this week? Symptoms are pretty non-bothersome right now (or maybe I'm just getting used to them?), chiropractor helped with my shoulder pain from side sleeping, I'm getting lots of busy baby movements in there. DH says he's working on his chemistry set.

No appointments this week (yay!). I'm probably going to call tomorrow to talk about birth wishes and set up a hospital tour (something my hospital offers as a program) and see what classes are available for DH and myself to take for baby prep.

R/R/Q?

Rave: I got a full night's sleep last night and slept in. That was like a Christmas miracle. Also, I think I'm on the end of this illness/sinus thing I've been battling. It's always a good sign for me when I've progressed to coughing.
Rant: I really wanted to eat a healthy omelet this morning, but we so badly need to go to the grocery store I had to have cereal.
Rant2: I hate when people ask you questions and you've clearly already told them the answer before they asked if they'd just taken the time to read what you said.
Question: Does anyone else just love ticker change days where you get to open your apps and look at the change in baby size and read about development? It's really a little treat for me. I never read ahead because I love waking up on Sundays to read all about the week I'm at before I ever get out of bed.

GTKY: What is your favorite autumn indulgence? (treat, comfort food, etc.)

That's a tough question. Really tough! Probably the worst thing for you I can think of that I love in the fall is Starbuck's caramel apple spice. I love them, but I always feel guilty afterward because of the sugar. You can lighten up a lot of Starbucks drinks but like the PSL I don't think you can that one. I probably won't get one this year. Last year I think I ordered the smallest size and shared with DH. Less bad for you is my love for the butternut squash. I love it as a soup and in ravioli. I've got some of both in my fridge right now actually.

How big is baby? An 11 lb jar of Nutella, football, Cheetos bag, or Coconut

Symptoms/Appointments/what's happening this week? First of my bimonthly appointments. It's always nice to hear baby's HB, but it's less so finding out how much weight I've gained.

R/R/Q? Rave: It's finally starting to cool off a bit. So nice to only be in the 70's...last week it was still in the 90's.

GTKY: what is your favorite autumn indulgence? (treat, comfort food, etc) I love Panera's butternut squash soup and get it every time I go there.

@Austenista, I used to love checking out the updates, pregnancy calendars, etc. with our firstborn...so much fun. Not sure why, but I rarely look at them now with our third.

Symptoms/Appointments/what's happening this week? Having lots of movement/what I assume is BH contractions this morning. It's settled down now.

nothing going on this week...had my 3 hour glucose test yesterday, so I should find out my results hopefully tomorrow

I'm pretty sure I've complained about this before but right now, my father in law is staying with us and I'm sooooo ready for him to move out. He moved in temporarily at the end of May, thinking he was only going to be at our place until July.....well it's now October and I'm ready for our house back and some alone time with my husband and boys.
GTKY: what is your favorite autumn indulgence? (treat, comfort food, etc)
My favorite indulgence is probably either apple pie (I usually make 2 pies after we go apple picking) or chocolate chip pumpkin bread....I make one with chocolate chips in it and one plain because my husband likes the plain lol.

Symptoms/Appointments/What's happening this week? No appointments this week, but our maternity photoshoot is scheduled for this Saturday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates because we are planning to do them outside at an orchard and we don't really have a backup plan! Not really a symptom, but Bean has become quite fond of wedging her feet into my ribcage over the past week. (That's been a fun development!

R/R/Q? No rants or questions this week, but I have a big rave: I love my family! My first baby shower was yesterday at my parents' house and I am overwhelmed that the little person growing inside of me is already loved so much by so many people!
GTKY: What is your favorite autumn indulgence? (treat, comfort food, etc) Desserts! I'm trying to be very careful with how much sweet stuff I'm eating because of my GD diagnosis, but we were sent home with a pan of homemade apple dumplings and a pumpkin roll courtesy of my mom! They will definitely be enjoyed!

R/R/Q? Rant: The past several nights I've been having what feels like period cramps super low down for about 2 hours. I think it's just that I'm doing too much and need to settle down. Annoying!

Apple picking and the cider doughnuts that come with it. Just went on Saturday - yum!

How far along are you? 30 Weeks
How big is baby?  At last weeks ultrasound he was over 16 inches and feels every bit of it. I think the bumps said asparagus but I never really follow those.
Symptoms/Appointments/what's happening this week?  Not a whole lot going on this week.@zubenescamali I just bought DD1 an Immi Go car seat. Not only does she love it but it free'd up 2" of width and 6" in depth for my back seat. I love it! It was a bit pricy but for us it's either invest in new car seats or buy another car. Car isn't an option at the moment. We also have an Eddie Bauer compact convertible car seat for DD2 who will still be rear facing for another year.
R/R/Q?  Rant: not so tiny man seems to be stuck in a uterus that's too small for his lanky limbs. At my last appointment we confirmed that my uterus is measuring smaller then it should be. I had issues with low fluid with DD1 and suspect that that's what may be going on again(I do have an ultrasound coming up next week to measure fluid). With this comes lack of those little rolling movements and more of a I'm out of room stretch right out my side. Everything is very defined from the outside and like with DD1 I swear I get those creepy full foot shots. I'll have to try and catch one for you ladies. You can actually see his toes! Nots as comfortable as it is cute.
GTKY: what is your favorite autumn indulgence? (treat, comfort food, etc)  I love apple picking and pumpkin spice lattes. Not really into treats with this pregnancy. I am really looking forward to the cooler weather. Legging, boots, and fall decor are some of my favorite things. Oh and fall smelling candles! I love candles!
