In between FI nursing me through the bouts of sickness, we are getting a 3D ultrasound and letting the nesting urges take over! Basically cleaning and rearranging and all of that. I need the strength to do all of that plus keep FI on track, which is easier said than done.
Today my mom and I went shopping and pre-ordered all the food for my shower. Tomorrow, it's off to hopefully find a new dress/outfit for the shower, as I haven't had much luck. Then, Sunday it's baby shower day. I'm exhausted thinking about it all.
Tomorrow assemble nursery dresser. Postpartum rejuvination class in the afternoon.
Sunday my moms coming over to help me decide where to put all my decorations. It's amazing how everything fits so perfect in one house and then no where in the next... Birth class part 4 Sunday evening.
Today I went to a consignment sale, did some shopping and then mostly chilled. Tomorrow is day 2 of 2 of childbirth classes and then on Sunday we are going to prime the nursery walls so my sister and I can paint while she is visiting.
not much going on here. I want to go shopping for something to wear for my baby shower. I'm guessing a lot of us are having baby showers coming up. Should we start a baby shower thread? I saw a thread on one of the other BMBs and it seems super neat.

Tomorrow is my shower with DH's family. I went and got stuff tonight to make my hostesses some very small goodie bags as a thank you. We are also finally getting to visit the chiropractor in the morning. I never got around to getting a new dress/outfit for my shower, so I'm going to be improvising.
Sunday we are hoping to take it easy. I tried to go grocery shopping tonight, but DH and I realized I was just too tired after I had spent 30+ minutes just staring at products in Trader Joes so I'll probably end up having to go to the store on Sunday.
I am feeling pretty run down with my sinus thing and eventful OB appointment this morning in spite of the nap I took. Tomorrow's a round trip visit to Georgia, hopefully I can power through without crashing. Might bring a pillow for the car just in case.
@Austenista sorry to hear you're still battling the sinus issue. Take full advantage of the travel time and sleep in the car! Enjoy your shower tomorrow.
Up early thanks to an overactive bladder and calf cramps.
Heading out soon-ish to attend a fundraiser 5k that my family does every year. I'll just drop off money but not walk this time. Can't even fathom that attempt lol. Then probably some breakfast out (second breakfast duh) and a hair cut. DH works today so we will hook back up later for lazies. His parents are coming over tomorrow so I guess we will grill and sit around. Pretty chill one.
We have an art festival in the city park today so we will be going with my parents to that. Hopefully dd1 will be good. Tomorrow she goes to my parents in the morning so DH and I can go grocery shopping (aka have a break from the terrible twos).
So many baby showers! Enjoy everyone. I had mine at 27 weeks a month ago. I loved it!
This weekend, lots going on! We are celebrating our 4 year anniversary tonight with dinner somewhere, it's a surprise. I am working on a nursery project to make some decorations, so I have to go to Home Depot and pick up some branches outside. Tomorrow, we have our child birth class at the hospital and probably will do some additional nesting in the afternoon (wash baby clothes, organize, clean etc). We also gotta get some items from ikea.
So so much to do over the next 9 weeks!

In OH for a wedding this weekend. Everyone on DHs side of the fam is in the wedding, basically, and he is best man bc its his brother's wedding. We are also the only people here so far with children, and I am the only preggo. I am excited bc, weddings, but DH has been mia to do all his best man duties with the other groomsmen, which is totally understandable, and I feel like ass and have to balance a grumpy DS alone while not feeling all that great myself(we made the 11 hour drive yesterday, and were up til 9:30 which is MUCH past our bedtime).
Anyway, my plans this weekend include the wedding (yay!) and then driving back tomorrow (boo!). And then trying to make it through Monday... so @yellingbanana I guess you and I are in teh same boat- try not to murder anyone is in my plans as well, haha.
Our weekend is technically Sunday and Monday since DH is in retail. Sunday is our crash day so we'll do church, naps, and then probably clearing some brush an impromptu bonfire in the evening. I'm trying to butter up DH so he will take me to an apple farm on Monday. I really want some porch pumpkins and fresh apples. Wish me luck that I can charm DH into it!
I'm in Chicago for a girls weekend with six of my college girlfriends! We graduated almost 10 years ago and have all kept in touch. I've never been to Chicago and despite me having to find a bathroom in the city literally every 90 mins, we are having a good time. Eating good food, doing lots of shopping (we are on Michigan Ave right now), and lots of catching up. We probably won't do this again for another 10 years so we are living it up.
Friday - I stayed in (DH was out of town until about 11pm when he got home), and watched some movies on Freeform (Love & Basketball and Save the Last Dance - which were both two of my faves in college). I took an epsom salt bath as my feet were super swollen. I think it made them worse... so I probably had the water too hot or too much epsom salt. I was miserable afterwards and could barely sleep as they were so hot. Yuck.
Saturday - College homecoming football game, which they won. After the game, we went for supper with my parents and then over to SIL's and put together a Scooby Doo Lego plane with our 4YO nephew.
Sunday - My mom and I went shopping and got 18 items (mainly onesies) for $30 at a local kids consignment store. Great deals! After that, we went to the mall and bought some ornaments from Hallmark and a cute Christmas outfit for LO to wear at Herberger's. Once home, started laundry and a friend stopped by to drop off my shower gift, as she isn't able to make it next Sunday to my 1st one that a couple other friends are hosting. It was nice to catch up as I hadn't seen her in awhile (known since college and now she has 4 kids so they are busy). DH and I may got out for supper, or figure something out.

I got to go "home" this weekend for my family and friend baby shower. It was so much fun. SO, his parents and DSD all went too. It was the first time his parents met my family and it was amazing having everyone together. We're so blessed to have such awesome family. Pretty sure minus the changing pad/covers and the stroller we're all set too! Here's a little bonus, DSD and our nephew. It was so cute seeing them together!
Hubby and I drove the 2 hours to my mom's to visit while my grandparents were in town visiting from North Carolina since they cannot make it to the shower later on this month. We returned late Saturday night to discover our new water meter that was installed a couple of months ago acquired a leak which soaked the basement carpet - joy (one thing after another with our rental house). Sunday we sorted through and organized the bags upon bags of baby clothes that my friend gave me into bins based on size. I think it is safe to say that we are all set with clothes until our kid turns a year old. So grateful for friends that are more than willing to share (she also has provided me with the bulk of my maternity clothes!). We also started reorganizing the basement. We moved into the house 10 months ago, and not knowing if we were going to stay or not, never really unpacked or decorated. We have now decided to stay for another 18 months at least, so we are finally getting things unpacked and organized.
