How far along are you? 10 weeks (woohoo! 1/4 of the way done!)

How big is baby? Strawberry, prune, Ferrero Rocher, poker chip

Appointments this week? Next appt isn't until 10/10 (11w2d).

Symptoms? Nausea has pretty much gone away (I hope), but I'm extremely exhausted ALL the time. And I've been getting RLP occasionally.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Anyone have hunger waves? One day I'm like a bottomless pit, and the next day, I just don't get hungry at all...

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?

I'm looking forward to holding and snuggling a newborn. I'm looking forward to trying to breastfeeding again. I'm really looking forward to watching the baby grow and learn. Seeing each new development and milestone was so amazing. Really, I think DS is so amazing, I wouldn't mind one exactly like him (although I know their personalities will be so different).

Appointments this week? Oct 5th...first appointment

Symptoms? Tired, hungry all the time.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I went and got some maternity clothes yesterday which was mostly leggings and oversized sweaters which I love. Ummmmm I'm real big. I look 6 months pregnant. I know it's not baby but I haven't told my kids till after my ultrasound at 13 weeks so I think it's going to be hard to hide.

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?: my oldest is 19 and my youngest is 7. So I'm starting over again. Just can't wait to be able to tell so that I can be excited.

How far along are you? 13 weeks

How big is baby? Lemon, matchbox car

Appointments this week? No, but I did have one last Wed. I heard the heartbeat ❤️ and I also got the Harmony blood test. I'm hoping to have the results by the end of the week. Then we'll start telling people.

Symptoms? Nausea and fatigue off and on, but not bad.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Nothing at the moment!

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?: I'm really looking forward to my son having a sibling. I grew up with a brother and a sister so I am happy my son (and the new baby) will get that experience too. Also I am excited to cuddle with a new baby and get the rocking chair back out!

Appointments this week? Finally have our second appointment this week.

Symptoms? None ....my constant hungryness is fading which is nice.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Excited to finally have our 2nd appt this week. As I've posted before, I'm anxious (and excited) to see the little one growing.

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?:
I am already a step mom, which is wonderful. However I cannot wait to be a mom to my own child. I'm excited for the bond we will share. Can't wait to have time off work just to hang out with her/him.

Symptoms? Still exhausted, still throwing up (fairly occasionally), RLP

Rant/Rave/Questions? Counting down until my next appointment (10/14) when I can finally hear the heartbeat.

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?: Both of my kids (3 and 5) really want a baby. My 3-year-old told my mom that he would make a great big brother and my 5-year-old keeps saying if we had a baby she would take care of him/her. I cannot wait to watch them bond with their little sibling.

Appointments this week? I have an appt Thursday, they may do one more ultrasounds because last time I was just under 6 weeks so they want to get HR and check on baby growth

Symptoms? Just feeling overall blah...

Appointments this week? none until the end-ish of the month

Symptoms? Stil tired at night but otherwise feeling good. sore gums

Rant/Rave/Questions? I told my principals on Friday and we announced on social media today. Hoping that starts to make everything seem more real now that it is out in the open.

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?: FTM most looking forward to seeing all of the "firsts" and milestones.

Appointments this week? No, but I have one the following week

Symptoms? I'm like a pepto bismal commercial. Nausea, lots of heartburn, little extra tired.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm so ready to announce. I told DS and he was just like "ugh..." I'm hoping it goes better at work, etc.

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?: Sleeping baby cuddles. That peaceful sleepy look in his or her eyes. My kids seeing him or her for the first time. I cannot wait. I also am looking forward to those baby giggles with his or her big sibs.

How far along are you? 12 weeks

How big is baby? just over 2 inches, I guess.

Appointments this week? big exciting week for me. Regular midwife appointment on Tuesday morning and NT scan and genetic testing on Thursday morning.

Symptoms? feeling much better. nausea is gone for the most part. still really wanting this crazy bad acne to go away. bump is already growing way out of control! feeling much more fatigue this week as well.

Rant/Rave/Questions? nope. Pretty good. My client was due on Friday and so I am on-call until her baby shows up. I can't wait. I love going to births! DH has a phone interview for a pretty awesome job on Tuesday morning. We are crossing our fingers SUPER hard for that one.

GTKY: FTM, what are you most looking forward to about being a mom? STM (or TTM, etc), what is your favorite part of being a mom that you are looking forward to repeating?: I am looking forward to all the stuff after the first 3 months. I am not a super huge newborn lover. I mean, they are tiny and so that is fun. But, I much prefer a 6 month old to a brand new itty bitty. Really excited to see DD playing with her baby.
