Yes, I know it's Sunday and a little late for randoms, but I was just reminded of WordArt and all its glory. Ahhhh! I need this in my life again! That's all. I may be a bit over tired from tonight's shift.
I'm up because my temping alarm is at 5 am AND my sister and BIL are here with my niece and nephew. Nephew was up around the same time as me and I heard him crying. Went to see why the light was on downstairs and niece wakes up in my bed, follows me crying, and now we are all up... but I am riding a high because 3 other nieces, a nephew, 2 more sisters, and one of my aunts came over last night and we looked at pics of us when we and our parents were young. DH only knew that 4 people would be here. He was working a 24, so imagine his surprise when he got a video of 12 people in our house. The kids were totally missing him (and I was too!) Can't wait to add more kids to the craziness.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I am currently snuggling on the couch with my dog, eating pumpkin pie, watching ghost stories on TV. Very firmly ignoring the homework I have due today.
I just power cleaned my house. I also put out my Halloween decorations. (Which I feel like I don't have enough of lol.) Now I'm going to shamelessly veg out for the rest of the day! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!
I just watched the pilot of This Is Us. I am not okay.

@manillabar Yes. The show is really good and there is a cool twist at the end of the pilot that sets up the rest of the show. But it's a trigger so be emotionally prepared to sob. I really like it and will keep

We felt ambitious this morning and woke up early to go on a morning hike with our two dogs. It was beautiful to see the Fall leaves in the mountains. We got a pretty good workout and felt good about ourselves.
Then....we consumed more calories than we burned by buying 25 pumpkin munchkins from Dunkin Donuts and a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. #fail
Well, at least we burned some calories before the high caloric consumption of all things pumpkin

@GlitterFish, now you have me wondering when it came out. I think it was with Windows 95, but I could pretty much see myself using it at any time (even now). Anything more than WordArt and MS Paint are too much for me to handle. And now I want to play Oregon Trail on the DOS computers. It was always dysentery.
