Diaper Bag

At how many weeks should I start packing the diaper bag? I'm 34w 5d. But don't feel the urge to pack the diaper bag just yet. I feel like it's too early and I'm still using pretty much everything I want to put in there. Should I buy like a new toothbrush, deodorant, toothpaste, hairbrush, etc? We''ll be buying the coming home outfit this weekend

    Do you mean your hospital bag or your actual diaper bag full of baby essentials? 

    I'd not worry about a bag for baby until you actually go out of the house with baby for the first time. 

    As far as a hospital bag goes, I'd do whatever you are comfortable with. I'm shooting for 37-ish weeks and will throw my daily toiletries in when I'm actually in labor (it'll be a short list of what to grab).

    I just bought travel sized things last week to put in my hospital bag because I am awful for forgetting to pack the necessities. I can imagine it would be much worse when I'm actually in labour! It gives me a piece of mind knowing I don't have to worry about that stuff. But if you're more organized than me, I think you could get away with just chucking things in the bag when you need them.

    I intend to show up with nothing but electronics and ask for all the other stuff cuz why not its all free at the hospital

    I usually pack it once I have timeable contractions, because there isn't much else to do while wondering if this is it or not.

    With my first I wrote an exact list of what I wanted packed so either my husband or I could pack it last minute.   I should probably do that again this time.   I packed a labour bag and baby diaper bag in advance as for both of those I wasn't using those things.
