Ok, hopefully no one hates me for getting this started but both weeks I've had appointments there's been no thread and it makes me sad to not get to participate!
Had my second appointment yesterday (12+5) and all looks great. Baby had a strong heartbeat of 161 - it's always a little sigh of relief at every appointment to hear it chugging away! Next appointment will be Oct 28 where we, fingers crossed, get to find out if we have a little girl or a little boy! My husband is dying to know!
How about anyone else? Any appointments this week?

Thanks everyone for the ok to start it, I wasn't for sure what the rules were about that when someone was assigned to start it so I didn't want to step on any toes.
Thinking of you all during your appointments this week and hoping for excellent reports as the week progresses!

ETA: Appointment went well. Still transitioning with the new partners, so I was there over an hour for a less than 10 minute appointment. Very happy I got to hear the heartbeat. 161!
Tomorrow, I have my regular check in with my OB.
I've been a worrying since the day I found out that something could go wrong but we really want to announce at 10 weeks, just before a big family event out of state. We didn't want to announce at a cousin's wedding and steal their thunder.
Hoping the US and appointment go well. If so I think we will announce at 10 weeks on Sunday.

I also had my blood draw for Verifi today, so praying for positive results as soon as possible. My office calls, so I'm already anxious waiting for it.
I have another appointment in four weeks.

The good news is I got to hear the heartbeat and it was exactly at where I had measured it (174bpm) on my own Doppler so since it was the first time I had used it, it was a relief to have confirmation that I had used it correctly!
Also I've officially proven I'm not high risk, after several appointments in the beginning to measure progress (PGAL), so I'm going to a month between appointments for now. It's nerve wracking but it's a good thing!
Got to hear baby's heartbeat. I forgot to ask what it was but she found it nearly the second the doppler touched my belly. She also had a little model of baby at all the weeks and it was so cool to hold the tiny little one in my hands! It was bigger than I expected. DD got a kick out of it too and called it a gummy bear.
Update on my Group B positive: if I am still negative at 36 weeks and want the antibiotics, I would go to a doctor they recommend for the prescription and then my midwives CAN administer them at home during the birth! Huge relief for me.
Finally, I thought you all should know the 3 rules the practice has for a healthy pregnancy:
1. Tons of leafy greens
2. 3 walks of a mile or more a week
3. At least 3 orgasms a week
So....get to work!

Love the 3 orgasms a week! Lol!!!
I also think its super cool that they have a model baby for every week!
