I didn't know who to talk to so I came here because I knew you ladies would get it. I've been off the boards for awhile because I failed 4 rounds of Clomid and needed a break.
Month/Cycle: 10/5

WAYDTGKU: Sort of benched.
R/R: my best friend called me on sunday to tell me she's pregnant. She wasn't trying and her marriage was in trouble, so it was a complete shock. I'm glad that my first response was joy and excitement. I quickly got off the phone and tried to remain upbeat but my husband asked if I was okay and I lost it. I spent Monday crying, by the afternoon I was angry and by Tuesday I was pretty much fine again. I really hate myself for being so selfish and crying over this. It shouldn't really matter, her pregnancy doesn't affect me in any way. Idk why it hurt so much.
I went today with her to her first ultrasound since her husband couldn't get the day off. They couldn't see anything because she's not far enough along. I got to calm her nerves while we waited for her urine test and then got a blood test so they can see how far along she is. I think being involved helps me out. And she's being very respectful of my feelings. It's good. I feel so guilty because I don't want to ruin her joy, but I think I'm handling it well while we're together.
CS/Q: I don't have anything, really. I stopped temping after the last round of Clomid failed and I wish I hadn't. I am mid cycle and having cramps, which is unusual for me so now I'm like am I going to ovulate on my own suddenly? I've been on thyroid medicine for about a week now. There's like hopeful things and there's also despair.
GTKU: my family. Definitely.

GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? I love that we are so close to shopping and restaurants and the highway. Easy commute!! It makes me wary about buying a bigger house close by because it might not be so close to everything. Moving out of state? Well my parents live about 20 minutes from us so that's a huge thing, and I would cry if we left them because I need mommy's support through all this.

GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Bwahahahahaha. After moving from Scotland to Canada in 2013, there's no way we're moving anywhere else for some time! Saying that, maybe one day, we'll pack up and move out to the countryside. I'd love some goats
@zwink1 Our dog is the same. She goes outside then just stands looking up at you and blinking in the rain.
@leilac I'm temping, so on the months when my monitor missed my peak, I just kept POAS until my temps confirmed o-day, then stopped. If you're not temping, but you're sure that you've ovulated, you might as well save the sticks - they're expensive! (God bless Costco.)
@LuND If someone have it to me I would give it a try, but I don't want to buy one haha. I don't want to encourage her use of the house, even a designated space, and she's weird so I don't think she would use it. I realize they have an attractant you can put on them, but she hates weird textures and won't walk on them. When we house broke her, we put newspaper down at first. We quickly discovered she wouldn't walk on the newspaper, so we started covering all of the areas we didn't want her to go. It was great decor for a while haha.
That wasp situation is a problem, eesh!
@Mythril I'm so sorry, that is so tough. Close friends of ours recently announced as well, but they were trying and had been having difficulty, so totally different situation. You are a better friend than me, to be honest, I don't think I could go to the ultrasound appointment.
@jeg07 CD1 doesn't start until you have full flow, so that little bit of spotting you had yesterday doesn't count. If you didn't fill a tampon or a pad, you were merely spotting. So woo hoo, you had a 10 day LP I hope they keep getting longer for you. If not, I've had success with acupuncture, so you might feel like that's worth a try (although everyone's experience is different).
@bumpybump I'm so sorry. We had a good family friend who seemed to have everything to live for that took his own life a few years ago. Depression is a horrible monster, and he must have felt very desperate to do it. While the pressure of what they went through might have exacerbated things, chances are good that he was struggling regardless. I hope his wife is eventually able to find peace. Hugs to you.
@Mythril I'm so sorry you're going through such a rough time. Your being sad doesn't diminish the support you're giving your friend. Cut yourself some slack. I hope the thyroid treatment does the trick!!

This feels like the 50 States song on Animaniacs!
R/R: It's interesting. I didn't realize that my libido had gone down over the past couple of cycles, but this month it's back, which makes me notice by comparison. I'm going to have a conjugal visit with OH tonight, which will be our last chance before he has to abstain for his SA on Monday, and I'm ready to jump his bones. It's nice to feel that way. I suspect that it is one more thing acupuncture has helped with, based on the timing. I'm amazed.

Editing because whoa, only about one line of my text posted.
@bumpybump I'm so sorry for your loss, and thank you for sharing the message. In response to your question, my temps start dropping a day before AF, but they don't cross the coverline until CD 2. After that, I get wild fluctuations until my period's over.
@zwink1 sol.idar.ity on diva dogs! My rant yesterday was that my dog peed on my favorite rug - it was absolutely because it's been raining a lot here, and she doesn't like to go outside when it's wet. Things get worse after a few days of solid rain like we've had and she starts to form bad habits. Thankfully things are dry...on all fronts...here today.

WAYDTGKU: OPK, BBT, PNV, any other three letter combo that seemed useful probably.
R/R: I always forget what a hormonal shit show the last few days of my lp are when I'm in the midst of them. I've been struggling a lot emotionally and with fatigue, but today AF finally came, and I feel like a new woman. I was able to knock out a lot of my to-do list, and as corny as it sounds, life is just a lot brighter than it's seemed the past few days.
CS/Q: Not this time around.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
My husband and I actually just went through a big move from a big city in the PNW to a mid-cized city in the Southeast, so we're hoping all the reasons we moved become all the reasons we'll stay. We've been able to buy a home here, which would have been a real stretch where we were, we're much closer to good friends and the right distance from family, and we feel like we're able to get more involved in the community instead of being a set of anonymous faces in the crowd.

R/R: My rant is this cycle! I have no idea what my body is up to. I thought I O'd early (like CD9) but temp never spiked or stayed up. Usually AF shows after CD23 at the latest. I'm so confused.
CS/Q: Not that anyone can probably answer.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Family. Which is ironic because sometimes it is the reason I would like to leave!
@bumpybump I am so sorry for your loss. What a sad thing to happen. @tentoeturbo Oooo, overseas? Where at (if you don't mind me asking)? Is it somewhere with lots of hammocks and surf? @adirat Bummer on losing your office buddy! It always so lame....usually the job already sucks so losing your work partner in crime just heaps onto the pile. Maybe you all can still meet up for lunch?

WAYDTGKU: Temping, HIO, OPKs
R/R: I told myself I was going to quit doing OPKs for the rest of this cycle because they were stressing me out. Well, I'm weak. I happened to take one after work yesterday because I'm feeding an addiction at this point, I'm sure. Don't matter because it was finally positive! HALLELUJAH.
My temp this morning didn't spike up as far as I was expecting, but I also took it 2 hours early because my body won't stop waking up at 3am for some reason. Based on past cycles using OPKS, I get a positive the same day I O so I'm hoping it's just a slower rise than normal.
CS/Q: Nothing right now....
GTKU: I love Alaska way too much to ever leave. Granted, I haven't ever lived anywhere else, but I don't ever feel a need to "escape". Like a lot of other ladies have said, being close to family is awesome too.
@jeg07 sorry for CD1, but hooray for a longer LP. @mythril I was a long time lurker before jumping in to be active and I remember you. Welcome back. You have the right to feel all the feels. IF is so emotionally taxing. It's great that you feel like you can be there to support your friend and that she is being sensitive about your feelings. It is also ok to be sad and mad that it's not you. Creepy Internet hugs

@wabash15 Yay for DH tidying up and making things easier for
you! I have found when I’m on mobile if
I double tap under the WAYDTGKU section, it lets me bypass what my phone thinks
is a horribly misspelled word
@GeorgiaWife6912 Sorry you’re having a rough month and O is
being a jerk
@purplg8r I think you can probably get away with using the
sprinkler 2-3 times a week
@maebee87 I always tell myself I’m going to be productive
and adult and I usually fail miserably.
Hope you’re better at it than I am!
@hupp0013 I always check the date on things like eggs and
milk but don’t usually check lunch meat….I guess I should start looking at that
too
@laurad75 Sorry YH is being a butthead. You’d think they would know better by now!
@bumpybump I’m so sorry for your loss! It’s always difficult to lose a friend,
especially so unexpectedly!
@CallaLily25 It may take a few cycles off BCP for your body
to fully regulate so I would just keep temping and POAS and see what happens
@JackieMarie1989 I’ve considered other positions but am
trying to give myself the best chances (as do we all) so I decided to stick
with the boring stuff for now.
@PolarBear517 Glad you have such an amazing family so close
by!
@zwink1 Is it something with that room or will she go in
some other part of the house if you close the door?
@hartmich Yay for negative HCG! Fx this is your cycle!
@adirat Sorry your friend is leaving. I would be devastated if my friend left here.
@LuND Once I figured out the CP thing, I was probably way more
excited than I should have been lol. But
it’s a really great feeling to know exactly what’s going on with your body. It is the knobby, fleshy part of the cervix
that changes. As it does change, you
will be able to tell the difference
@RunRestRepeat Since you’re not temping or using OPKs I
would say the best way to tell is using CM and CP combined and see if it can
help you pinpoint O. Typically your CP
will go from HSO to LFC, although everyone is a little different
@Mythril You are not at all selfish or a bad person for
feeling that way. My best friend got a
bfp after her first month tfas and I totally broke down not only with DH but
also in my manager’s office and on the phone with my sister a few days
later. You are being an amazing friend
to her and giving her the support she needs which I’m sure she appreciates more
than words can say
@Sugargirl1019 I also love that we are so central to
restaurants/bars and freeways.
@Aurora1973 Yay for increased libido! So glad acupuncture is working so well for
you!
@BrambleRose I know the relief that can come after a long
LP. It feels like your body just wants
to mess with you a bit longer before confirming that you’re not KU
@Mrs_Jp I’m sorry you’re so frustrated. Just remember, you’re regular until you’re
not.
@Sirius37 Yay for a peeing on things! Glad you finally got a positive OPK

So sorry to hear about your friend @bumpybump **TW** DH's cousin took his own life in October '14. He was found by his Dad. He was only 24. He had sadly battled with and through many years of depression. All of his family were deeply shocked and left very heartbroken. One of the saddest things (they later discovered) was the fact he thought he wasn't loved or cared about, his funeral had the biggest turn out. The love his family and friends had for him was overwhelming. If only he could have just reached out to one of those people, but we cannot always know the struggles and pain someone is feeling or hiding sometimes. It's heartbreaking**end TW** My thoughts are with you and his family.

@LuND omg, I hate box elder bugs! When we moved to IA it was the first time I'd ever seen them and they drive me nuts! I don't know how they always manage to get inside too.
@RunRestRepeat sounds like you're describing central IA. I've been in this area since 2009 and LOVE it! Welcome!
@Mythril I think it's so nice of you to be this supportive of your friend. But I also know it can be very difficult. It sounds like you're doing a great job supporting her and I bet she'd do the same for you. But do keep your feelings in mind and be honest with her if it's too much for you right now. Hugs.
@Sirius37 yay for a positive OPK! I'm excited for you and that's the perfect gif for it.

@LuND - wabash15 and I were spot on cycle buddies last cycle, but she moved back over to WTO two day before me. So we bonded with or matching cycles, and now they're off by a few days. Haha. Hence *almost* cycle buddies this time.
@adirat Thanks! I will definitely do that. But I'm thinking maybe it was some kind of fluke or maybe my body was gearing up for O and just couldn't because I took my temp just now and it was 97.7....last month my post O temps during the day were usually higher. My BBT this morning was actually higher at 98.02. I know I shouldn't be temping during other parts of the day, but wouldn't my temp at 3:00 pm be higher if I truly Oed?
@Callalily25 No. Your temp during other parts of the day is impacted by all sorts of other things. You could get a low oral temp because you had a cold beverage or sat near an open window. Just wait to see your temp tomorrow morning.
@callalily25 My first cycle of BCP was 35 days, my second
was 28. Since then they are about 25-26 which
I think is what they were in pre-BCP.The first time I got CH it was CD 19, since then it’s always been CD 12
or 13.I’m like 6 cycles (I think) since
going of BCP and I feel like every time my symptoms are a little different.Last cycle during and after O I had no boob
tenderness or pain at all.Not even a
twinge. They didn’t seem to get bigger
either. But in July my boobs hurt so bad
from the day I O’d until I got AF that I couldn’t even touch them. They hurt just existing.I focus on my CM and temping mostly.I mark my symptoms, but try not to focus on
them too much.Basically I start HIO
super early (CD 5) and for super long (CD16 and counting) just in case. Hopefully you O soon!
@bumpybump that is so tragic. I’m so sorry for your loss
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Vitamin D, fish oil, RRL tea, CM, OPKs, CoQ10
R/R: Not much today. Just super busy at work!

GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? H's family is here plus I feel like this is where I belong and these are (mostly) my people. Plus, it's beautiful here. And no dang snow. I hated having to get up an hour+ early (when my shift started at 5am) to dig out of the driveway. Nice to visit. Don't like living in it!
@KhRun17 Good luck with the potential job! @purplg8r I'm 95% certain that last cycle I still got CH even though I didn't ever report a positive OPK. I left the other tests as a N/A but the CBDA never got past high. (I was super hydrated so I think that's why I never got an actual positive test.) @sevenn 50 acres sounds wonderful! @bumpybump I am so sorry for your loss. I agree that it's really important for people to realize that men can suffer from depression following a struggle with IF and also after the birth of their children. As far as your question, mine sometimes dives before AF but plenty of times doesn't really drop until a day or two in. @JackieMarie1989 I haven't seen a lot that really says position is critical. There are so many other things at play that really, gravity is small potatoes. Sure, we usually do what's considered 'best' for TTC but sometimes if it's what's 'best' or getting the job done. Get the job done. Stay happy and try to keep it as fun as possible. It's better if you have fun and look forward to it than it becoming a grind. @Dilynne Good luck! @zwink1 I'm so sorry that she's adopted such a bad habit. They are certainly creative. Since it sounds like she has a "strong personality" it might be worth just paying for a training consultation. @hartmich Congrats on no more blood draws! It's such a relief to finally be done with them! @LuND I don't know why but I HATE box elder bugs. They really gross me out. Sorry your H has been afflicted with the man cold. @jeg07 I think if you just make it to the evening, you get to count that day so yes to 10 days! @Mythril It's good to see you! It's okay that your excitement for your friend is complicated. Unfortunately, it just can't be pure joy. It would be nice to still feel all glitter and unicorns-y, but that's just not where you're at. All there is to do is your best. @Sirius37 My temp is always way lower if I wake up early.

@bumpybump I'm sorry, that's awful. It's so important for people to seek help when they need it, but so many people don't. Hope his family has a lot of support.
@RunRestRepeat I think temping is great, but it's not for me because of sleep-related stuff so I'm solely relying on CM and OPKs. I like the CBAD so far, but it is pricey and lots of people hate it and prefer the cheaper wondfos.

CS/Q: Not really, but does anyone here listen to the Fertility Friday podcast? It's really good and the lady running it is super into TCOYF. Interviews are very interesting!
GTKU: Honestly, I love pretty much everything about where we live except the cost of living/house prices. It's pretty, rural but near a mega city, so we get all the services we need have decent access to the outdoors. MH and I have moved around a lot and with the exception of Portland which we both loved but had to leave for work/school, in all the other places we lived one of us was really unhappy and the other person felt guilty about it. But we are both really into living here and it's actually a big part of why we decided to start TTC (some of the other places we lived were not kid friendly or had really bad education systems). Jealous of people with family nearby... We've given up on living near family since they are so spread out. All 4 parents live in 4 different states, so holidays are basically a nightmare and we have to disappoint most family every year so we figure better stick to a place we like instead of moving closer to one of them.
R/R update: Thanks @GeorgiaWife6912@maebee87@bumpybump@callalily25@JackieMarie1989@zwink1@LuND@lulu1180@kiki75 (I hope I didn't miss anyone) for all the good thoughts with my potential job phone call today. It was a generic call with a recruiter, so not a formal interview...yet. It's with a company that has thousands of postings at any given time, and a lot of them are often remote, so that's awesome. This call was just him helping me figure out which postings out of the thousands are realistic to apply to, and he told me the last one I applied to had over 200 applicants in a couple days that it was up. Anyway - long story short, he said he'll be my contact and I can email him as a kinda reference when I want to apply for things there so I have a better shot. Not great, but it's a starting point I guess. It's an IN at the company, which...in todays day it feels like you HAVE to know someone to get a job. We'll see. Thanks again for all the well wishes!
Guys, I created this thread at 7:00am and have had ZERO time to check in today. Let's just say I'm incredibly busy and super stressed at work. I'm being pulled in 5 different directions and cannot make any progress on projects. UGh! I want to drink all the things tonight but I'm waiting for one more high temp for CH and I don't want an alcohol inflated temp, so no drinkies for me tonight. Sorry for the Dear diary post.
And I'm mobile bumping so I can't feasibly respond to everyone, so my love tits will have to suffice. Feeling like a failure today.

CS/Q: one more high temp tomorrow and I'll get CH for Tuesday. We did end up BDing last night, so I feel a bit better. One thing I've noticed is that my first two months charting I had a significant temp rise the day after O (like 0.7 to 1 degree). Last month and this month haven't been that way; it has been more of a slow rise. I guess this is more of an observation than a question.

@Bertiemeetsgertie No worries! Sorry things are so hectic for you right now. Also -- are you me? Because my first two cycles I also had huge jumps on O day, then my third and fourth, I've gotten a slow rise. Weird.

If memory serves correct, we're both from Wisconsin, love the Packers, same kind of cycles... Twinsies!
Edit: gif creatures are supposed to be dancing, but it's just a still image. Lame!
R/R: Disappointed that AF showed up, but at the same time it feels like a fresh start. This is my first real period since getting Mirena removed (had a short light period about 2 weeks ago). Cramps are here with a vengeance so BFF is coming over for pizza, wine, and ice cream.
CS/Q:
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? We're really happy where we live. It's in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to Chicago and Madison for day trips. And we can go into Rockford for more food options, speciality shops, and entertainment.
R/R: It's Thursday!! (I don't work on Fridays, so it's my weekend!)
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? We live in DH's hometown and it's also his mom's hometown. It's a love/hate thing, but the love usually wins.
@bumpybump I'm so sorry. I can't imagine going through that on any level--spouse, family member, friend...
@purplg8r I'm so jealous that you're that close to Disney! @LuND Ugh, my DH gets "man sick" too and I always lose my sympathetic feelings if it lasts more than a day
@PeachyTeachy Hi! Welcome to WTO -- I assume that since you are cycle 1 and CD1 today is an exciting day for you! Just a quick FYI - if you place an "@" sign before someone's name, it'll provide a notification so they see your post.
@GeorgiaWife6912 Hooray for a great nights sleep. We have had one night away from my son and I slept awful and came home at 630am! He has never slept through the night for me. @hartmich Hooray for the negative HCG test and no more blood draws, it's so nice to have that last thing done with, and even better to have to go ahead to move forward. @bumpybump So sorry for the loss of your friend. What a tragedy. So often the struggles that the man feels are not noticed as the focus is most often on the woman. Hopefully they are able to raise awareness with their story after some time has passed.
I am late to the party today and honestly haven't had time to read through everyone's posts... But hello to all! I hope today was fabulous!
CM: 1AL CD: I have been behind this entire time, turns out I can't count! CD 19 today WAYDTGKU: OPK, HIO, PNVs
R/R: Well yesterday I was hoping to see a bit of color on my OPK and there was!...And today's was a positive! I am so disappointed I didn't temp this month but I'm taking this as a sign I'm going to O (fingers crossed!) I also got a haircut today, the first one is 6 months! Gramma came over to watch my son and it was exactly the break I needed! Now my hair is pretty for the anniversary date hubby is promising on Saturday!
CS/Q: nope.
GTKY: We had this discussion the other day... There is absolutely nothing holding us here. My husband works an hour from home so if we didn't hate moving so much, and thought we could sell our house, we might move south, but he has a career he could do anywhere and both of us have agreed that if the opportunity comes up to move somewhere cool, we are going! We are close to his family here and I know he would miss them... I might not al that much...

@mythril I just wanted to take my hat off to you. The fact that you are there for her is awesome. You've got more strength than I do. I found out my BILs gf was pregnant a week after my loss, they are the last people that should be having a kid and I have shut myself down to that whole side of the family basically. It sucks when you want something so bad and it just happens for others. Your in my thoughts tonight. Creepy internet hugs

@BrambleRose - We have a pee problem from time to time as well. This one isn't intentional, but she has a hormone imbalance that makes it difficult for her to 'hold it' when she's sleeping. Waking up in a puddle of pee once was enough for me. She's medicated, but we still make sure she gets out frequently.
I also hear you on the emotional disaster area during LP. I get obnoxiously emotional as well; and usually for a few days after CD1.
@lulu1180 - She tends to select one particular place, but if I shut her out of that area, she'll pick another one.
@kiki75 - She's a Shiba Inu, so strong personality is actually a bit of an understatement haha. She's usually not this bad, however, between the weather and moving to a new house she's been on her worst behavior.
@BertieMeetsGertie Today I started taking mobile screenshots so I could remember who to reply to and what to say. Haha @adirat He works a few towns away from there and wasn't at work, but thanks for checking in! I feel so removed from the world when I'm at school and sometimes find out about stuff at lunch or not until after work. I remember the first school shooting (how sad is that to say?) after DH and I started dating and he was worried about me. Now it's mutual for both of us. I never thought teaching would be a dangerous job.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Re: WTO Thursday!
Month/Cycle: 10/5
CD: 18
Definitely.

I'm amazed.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: I honestly love it here, so much so that I've stayed for almost 23 years after moving 7 hours' drive from my family. Also, we could never move away from DSS. We don't see him as much as we'd like now, and I can't imagine being far from him.

Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 1 - I thought one would come yesterday based on a temp drop and historic trends, but my LP held on for a 16th day just to #$%! with me. I'm really glad to be in a new cycle and feel like I'm starting fresh.

CD: 22

I’m back for comments! Thankfully, Thursday is yoga day at work so that helped me to destress after my not so great morning.
@NYTino24 Congrats on CHs!
@wabash15 Yay for DH tidying up and making things easier for you! I have found when I’m on mobile if I double tap under the WAYDTGKU section, it lets me bypass what my phone thinks is a horribly misspelled word
@GeorgiaWife6912 Sorry you’re having a rough month and O is being a jerk
@purplg8r I think you can probably get away with using the sprinkler 2-3 times a week
@KhRun17 GL with the recruiter today!
@sevenn Good to see you back! Fx for a normal O!
@maebee87 I always tell myself I’m going to be productive and adult and I usually fail miserably. Hope you’re better at it than I am!
@hupp0013 I always check the date on things like eggs and milk but don’t usually check lunch meat….I guess I should start looking at that too
@laurad75 Sorry YH is being a butthead. You’d think they would know better by now!
@bumpybump I’m so sorry for your loss! It’s always difficult to lose a friend, especially so unexpectedly!
@CallaLily25 It may take a few cycles off BCP for your body to fully regulate so I would just keep temping and POAS and see what happens
@JackieMarie1989 I’ve considered other positions but am trying to give myself the best chances (as do we all) so I decided to stick with the boring stuff for now.
@Dilynne Good luck!
@PolarBear517 Glad you have such an amazing family so close by!
@zwink1 Is it something with that room or will she go in some other part of the house if you close the door?
@hartmich Yay for negative HCG! Fx this is your cycle!
@adirat Sorry your friend is leaving. I would be devastated if my friend left here.
@LuND Once I figured out the CP thing, I was probably way more excited than I should have been lol. But it’s a really great feeling to know exactly what’s going on with your body. It is the knobby, fleshy part of the cervix that changes. As it does change, you will be able to tell the difference
@RunRestRepeat Since you’re not temping or using OPKs I would say the best way to tell is using CM and CP combined and see if it can help you pinpoint O. Typically your CP will go from HSO to LFC, although everyone is a little different
@jeg07 Congrats on a 10 day LP!
@britters314 You totally deserve that drink!
@tentoeturbo Welcome back!
@leilac Sorry the CBFM was being screwy
@Mythril You are not at all selfish or a bad person for feeling that way. My best friend got a bfp after her first month tfas and I totally broke down not only with DH but also in my manager’s office and on the phone with my sister a few days later. You are being an amazing friend to her and giving her the support she needs which I’m sure she appreciates more than words can say
@Sugargirl1019 I also love that we are so central to restaurants/bars and freeways.
@deadasthatsquirrel Fx O holds off until after YH gets back!
@Aurora1973 Yay for increased libido! So glad acupuncture is working so well for you!
@BrambleRose I know the relief that can come after a long LP. It feels like your body just wants to mess with you a bit longer before confirming that you’re not KU
@Mrs_Jp I’m sorry you’re so frustrated. Just remember, you’re regular until you’re not.
@Sirius37 Yay for a peeing on things! Glad you finally got a positive OPK

**TW** DH's cousin took his own life in October '14.
It's heartbreaking**end TW**

Thanks ks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine what my friend (the wife) is going through. We are all still in shock.

@callalily25 My first cycle of BCP was 35 days, my second was 28. Since then they are about 25-26 which I think is what they were in pre-BCP. The first time I got CH it was CD 19, since then it’s always been CD 12 or 13. I’m like 6 cycles (I think) since going of BCP and I feel like every time my symptoms are a little different. Last cycle during and after O I had no boob tenderness or pain at all. Not even a twinge. They didn’t seem to get bigger either. But in July my boobs hurt so bad from the day I O’d until I got AF that I couldn’t even touch them. They hurt just existing. I focus on my CM and temping mostly. I mark my symptoms, but try not to focus on them too much. Basically I start HIO super early (CD 5) and for super long (CD16 and counting) just in case. Hopefully you O soon!
@bumpybump that is so tragic. I’m so sorry for your loss

(I was super hydrated so I think that's why I never got an actual positive test.)
@sevenn 50 acres sounds wonderful!
@Dilynne Good luck!

@RunRestRepeat I think temping is great, but it's not for me because of sleep-related stuff so I'm solely relying on CM and OPKs. I like the CBAD so far, but it is pricey and lots of people hate it and prefer the cheaper wondfos.
Month/Cycle: 6/6 or 2/2 with more effort
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: Finally broke down and ordered preseed and cod liver oil to add to the list, plus all the stuff I said yesterday.
R/R: Rave: Looking forward to starting month 2 on my CBA OPK again tomorrow. Was really missing POAS these last 10 days--made me feel so empty inside!

Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: pnv, temping, opk, checking cm and cp, preseed when needed
R/R: see above.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
we live about 30 miles from DC so there are SO MANY things to do here, and to make it even better, many of those are free!

@Bertiemeetsgertie No worries! Sorry things are so hectic for you right now. Also -- are you me? Because my first two cycles I also had huge jumps on O day, then my third and fourth, I've gotten a slow rise. Weird.

We're really happy where we live. It's in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to Chicago and Madison for day trips. And we can go into Rockford for more food options, speciality shops, and entertainment.

@hartmich that makes me feel better that I didn't mess it up! And here's hoping that I suddenly get a darker line!
@PolarBear517 ok good!! I'm pretty sure I didn't O because my temps don't seem right but just wanted to make sure
@LuND. I live on the backside of Disney so I don't have to use I4 too much! And I hate when hubby's sick...guys are such babies when they are!
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Temp, will attempt a modified EOD
R/R: It's Thursday!! (I don't work on Fridays, so it's my weekend!)
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
We live in DH's hometown and it's also his mom's hometown. It's a love/hate thing, but the love usually wins.
@bumpybump I'm so sorry. I can't imagine going through that on any level--spouse, family member, friend...
@purplg8r I'm so jealous that you're that close to Disney!
@LuND Ugh, my DH gets "man sick" too and I always lose my sympathetic feelings if it lasts more than a day
ETA: Thanks @adirat
@hartmich Hooray for the negative HCG test and no more blood draws, it's so nice to have that last thing done with, and even better to have to go ahead to move forward.
@bumpybump So sorry for the loss of your friend. What a tragedy. So often the struggles that the man feels are not noticed as the focus is most often on the woman. Hopefully they are able to raise awareness with their story after some time has passed.
I am late to the party today and honestly haven't had time to read through everyone's posts... But hello to all! I hope today was fabulous!
CM: 1AL
CD: I have been behind this entire time, turns out I can't count! CD 19 today
WAYDTGKU: OPK, HIO, PNVs

Edit: Poor grammar means bad sentences.
@adirat He works a few towns away from there and wasn't at work, but thanks for checking in! I feel so removed from the world when I'm at school and sometimes find out about stuff at lunch or not until after work. I remember the first school shooting (how sad is that to say?) after DH and I started dating and he was worried about me. Now it's mutual for both of us. I never thought teaching would be a dangerous job.
