has anyone here tested positive for MTHFR?

Hi all, its been a long time since I have been on and I'm reaching out to see if I can find anyone with a similar situation to mine. I MC at 12 week last October 2015, we just had a second MC at the end of July 2016 at 4 weeks. I had blood work done and it came back I have MTHFR A1298C. I'm just wondering if anyone who has this has had a successful pregnancy and if so what did your doctor do for you pregnancy?

Yes, I'm homozygous 677. Here is my history. I had 3 pregnancies before I knew this: healthy child in 2010, 14 wk loss in 2012 (no known cause, 3 great u/s pre loss), healthy child 2013. Then I asked to be tested in 2015 bc I was quite sure I had the mutation. I do. Later that week I found out I was pregnant again. i lost that baby at 9 wks, I think it was a bad egg, the pregnsncy was always off. I'm now 10.5 wks.

My my girls are healthy. They both have midline defects typical of MTHFR mutation: sacral dimples, lip and tongue ties (I nursed them both successfully anyway), my oldest has a double uvula. They obviously have the mutation, too, since I do. My husband hasn't been tested.

the only thing I'm doing different this time is baby aspirin. For my two successful pregnancies and this one my vitamin doesn't contain folic acid. I believe that is a factor.

Many homocysteine is ideal so no one will consider blood thinners for me. I saw a hemotologist and bc of my homocysteine level being ideal and my two successful pregnancies he said there is nothing more he can recommend.

I am MTHFR heterozygous. I was tested after multiple losses last year. I am taking baby aspirin and a prenatal with folate not folic acid. I'm 10wks and so far so good!

I have 2 mutations. I had 2 losses at 7 weeks 5 days. Ob tested me then but was almost positive that it would come back as mthfr. Which it did. Within 2 weeks she had me start baby aspirin and tl gard which is folic acid/b6/b12. I found out 3 weeks later I was pregnant again. I was prescribed a prenatal with dha and that's basically already broken down. Doubled the dose of TL gard and was put on Lovenox shots. Something worked that time because my daughter is now 14 weeks old... My ob also followed me very closely and I had appts and u/s every 1-2 weeks.

I have a single mutation and during pregnancy I am placed on Folgard, baby aspirin, and a blood thinner (last pregnancy I was on Heparin, this time Lovenox).

ETA: My twins are now 20 months old.

My doctor told me I have this but honestly didn't really explain it too much. I'm on baby aspirin, a special prenatal, and progesterone suppositories. I've had three previous losses only one of those whole knowing what was wrong. I also have APS.
