@cafedisco It went really well. It was SUCH a huge relief. I gave my mom the ultrasound picture when it was just my parents and sister and DH and I and the reaction from them was great. Really everything I would hope for. They were only happy about it and apparently my dad just "knew" I was pregnant. The in-law's reaction was weird. Not really good or bad. But, I honestly don't care even a little bit about that. DD opened the gift with the big sister book and the shirt. And they were just confused. MIL is a little "slow to catch on to things". She thought someone made a mistake or something once she finally saw what it said and then she just stood there with her mouth open for like literally 45 seconds before she asked when I was due. I still didn't get a congrats or anything from FIL, MIL and oldest SIL. Whatever, I think they were just surprised. Really I only cared about what my family thinks. They are all over the moon excited and super supportive. So, apparently I need to give them more credit next time. Thanks for thinking of me. It means a lot.

I think my biggest cause I'm going to wave my flag for during this pregnancy is LISTERIA HYSTERIA! IANAD, but in my opinion, eat the hell out of that deli meat and don't feel bad. Assuming you live in the U.S., the concern over listeria is completely out of scope.
Took this to heart and had lunch meat again today. Honestly, at this point, it is one of the few things I can even stomach that isn't a pop tart, so I figure it's better(ish) for the baby to get some different nutrients.
This entire thread has made me rage-crave a Turkey Club.
I confess, I did have a somewhat of a meltdown yesterday when I asked my DH to pick up mayo and he brought home Cain's and not Hellman's. He's like "try it, it's the same." At the time, to me, those were fighting words. "THE SAME?!? CAIN'S? DO WE LIVE ON SOME REMOTE ISLAND WHERE CAIN'S IS OUR ONLY CHOICE?!" He may have laughed and then I was just too hungry and tired to go on.
