@mrsdaddario it started late yesterday so I am going to count today as CD 1 (the nurse at the RE office agreed with this). I am a little nervous for this cycle because I have my scan on CD 11 and then we leave that same day to fly across the country and will be gone CD 12, 13 and 14 (we come home late in the afternoon on CD 14) I am hoping the doctor can just manipulate when I trigger so I can have the IUI on CD 15. My IUIs in the past have always been on CD 14. But, I've never had super huge follicles at my scans. Last cycle, I had 2 follicles just measuring under 18mm on CD 11, so I'm hoping not doing an IUI on CD 14 won't mess things up. If worse comes to worse, we can always do timed intercourse since we will be together. I think I'm stressing out way more than I should!

@beary67 I think you mentioned starting the Letrozole later in the cycle? CD 5-9? If that's the case, I think you're timing will be perfect. And no need to worry about premature ovulation. But yes, if worse comes to worse you can always do TI. But let's hope it doesn't come to that!

That's what I thought too--but the nurse today said there would be no difference in outcome of how I respond if I take it 5-9 or 3-7. So I am going to stick with 3-7 I guess. I'm just nervous!

@BecauseLove thank you! I talked to the nurse and she is worried about the spotting and cramping too, she said it could be a sign that my hcg is dropping. My 2nd beta is today... Hoping so hard for a good number! The cramps have let up and the spotting is getting lighter so I'm holding onto hope...

The IUI itself went smoothly, but DH's motile count was really low... only 4M. Last time is was almost 11M... I'm so bummed Our Dr. is worried about the dropping counts, but thought IUI this month was still worth trying. I was able to ask her again about the previous DNA fragmentation results, and she really doesn't think there's enough research to suggest IUI's won't work for us. I guess that's a relief. But now with numbers dropping too, I can feel my hope slipping away.

Okay ladies, the good news is my beta has doubled (28.7)! I'm still not out of the woods though because it is such a low number. I remain cautiously optimistic! Next beta will be on Friday. Trying to just breathe and accept that what will be will be, I have no control over any of this. Ugh!
@mrsdee15 i can be your twin i had my IUI last wednesday how r u feeling? I'm sick with a sore throat so who really knows what i'm feeling at this point just frustrated i have to suffer more just in case I am, I always get sick during the tww. Hope I am!! lady_grey it seems like it still doubled so we just need it to keep doing that!! good luck my sweets!! @ReesaAnne16 i certainly understand how you feel for sure! But remember in the last IUI cycle kristy was successful with a low count as well, it can happen, hang in there!! I dont know how old ur hubby is but i will say my OH did much better when he stopped using the exercise bike and had more days down in between. Best of luck, it only take the one Olympic swimmer!

Hi all, sorry I disappeared for a while, I needed a mental break. We had to cancel our last trigger/IUI because the let wasn't working as quickly as the Clomid had and I didn't have any full sized follicles before we left for a 2 week vacation, so we just skipped it, which was super frustrating. But I think the vacation was good for both of us, a couple weeks where babies were the last thing on our minds.
That said, had I triggered like we planned, AF would've shown up our last day of vacation or right around there, and we've been home almost 2 weeks with no AF. All my HPT's are BFN so far, but I've only used the cheap-y dipstick kind, not the better ones, and I have been spotting on and off (which is a sign of AF for me), although that usually only lasts a day or 2 before starting full flow and it's been like 3-4 days now. Plus I have zero other symptoms that can't also be attributed to a raging case of PMS, so yeah. With the BFN's on the sticks, I'm just trying not to feel too much one way or the other, and I go in for a blood test tomorrow morning, so I guess that will tell for sure one way or the other.
@ReesaAnne16 You're right, I totally misread. I'm sorry you're worried about the count but I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!
@Hopeful_mom I'd love you to be my IUI twin! When's your beta draw if you have one? Mine is 10/8. I am actually a little under the weather with a slight sore throat also, but DH has been sick. It's really fleeting, mostly in the morning so I think I'm just dehydrated or the air is dry. I hope you feel better soon!

Hey @Katkirch, my beta today doubled again to 58.8 but still very low. I'm worried because I started getting LEGIT cramps at 4am that woke me up, followed by heavier spotting / light AF type bleeding off and on today. My doctor wants me to come in Monday for an US to see if we can see where the sack is, and for another beta. Going to try to stay busy and distracted this weekend...:-/

@BecauseLove thank you! I talked to the nurse and she is worried about the spotting and cramping too, she said it could be a sign that my hcg is dropping. My 2nd beta is today... Hoping so hard for a good number! The cramps have let up and the spotting is getting lighter so I'm holding onto hope...

The IUI itself went smoothly, but DH's motile count was really low...
Last time is was almost 11M... I'm so bummed
Our Dr. is worried about the dropping counts, but thought IUI this month was still worth trying. I was able to ask her again about the previous DNA fragmentation results, and she really doesn't think there's enough research to suggest IUI's won't work for us. I guess that's a relief. But now with numbers dropping too, I can feel my hope slipping away.

@ReesaAnne16 i certainly understand how you feel for sure! But remember in the last IUI cycle kristy was successful with a low count as well, it can happen, hang in there!! I dont know how old ur hubby is but i will say my OH did much better when he stopped using the exercise bike and had more days down in between. Best of luck, it only take the one Olympic swimmer!

That said, had I triggered like we planned, AF would've shown up our last day of vacation or right around there, and we've been home almost 2 weeks with no AF. All my HPT's are BFN so far, but I've only used the cheap-y dipstick kind, not the better ones, and I have been spotting on and off (which is a sign of AF for me), although that usually only lasts a day or 2 before starting full flow and it's been like 3-4 days now. Plus I have zero other symptoms that can't also be attributed to a raging case of PMS, so yeah. With the BFN's on the sticks, I'm just trying not to feel too much one way or the other, and I go in for a blood test tomorrow morning, so I guess that will tell for sure one way or the other.
@Hopeful_mom I'd love you to be my IUI twin! When's your beta draw if you have one? Mine is 10/8. I am actually a little under the weather with a slight sore throat also, but DH has been sick. It's really fleeting, mostly in the morning so I think I'm just dehydrated or the air is dry. I hope you feel better soon!
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!

@Isthisthereallife ugh so sorry big hugs to you!!! You know i understand and here for you! Its not easy and i started IVF and yet I'm still here at the IUI board so anything can happen, just take it all in to have an understanding of what happens. Ask about mini IVF too! @Monica54321 is right
