Rants/Raves/Questions? None really. Smooth sailing for now!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Lots of pelvic pressure, achy hips and tailbone, that's about it.
GTKY: Now that we are all pretty much in the home stretch, are the nerves starting to kick in? (Stolen from Monday) Oh absolutely. I'm so ready for her to be here, but I'm also scared to death of labor, breastfeeding, being a bad mom, PPD, etc. The anxiety is real.

He measured 5lbs14oz yesterday! One ounce away from birth weight!

Mine is in 6 weeks. LO has a bilirubin check tomorrow. For the 6th time.

The last few weeks I was pregnant, I could get a good 12 hours of sleep straight. I miss it!!!!

The birth and everything goes so fast! Just enjoy it and go with the flow because plans change and that's just fine. It's all for the health of you and baby. I would gladly do labor and deliver again to skip these first few weeks of exhaustion lol.

Upcoming appointments? I wrote an update in the labor thread about my crazy weekend and the tentative diagnosis of choleostasis of pregnancy. I'll be going to the doc a bunch more now - NST tomorrow, appointment and growth scan Thursday. Thursday they will probably also schedule an induction if I don't go into labor on my own by the end of next week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I really thought I was going to be one of those women who goes late and is super uncomfortable. Now I'm one of those women who is trying to keep this baby in a little bit longer but is also so uncomfortable that I feel guilty for wishing he would come already. But I also don't want him to have to spend time in the NICU away from me, so I'm trying to push the labor wishes out of my head =( So many competing emotions!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Some of the itchiness has gotten better with the medication, but I'm still scratching a lot. Then just a lot of pelvic pressure and the occasional set of pretty legit contractions.

(Stolen from Monday) I'm mostly just nervous that baby will be okay and hoping he doesn't need NICU time so I can keep him with me. Also a little nervous because now we have to deliver at a different hospital than we planned. We spent the day there Saturday and everything was great, I was just more comfortable with my local hospital and have heard this new hospital has a reputation for equating "baby friendly" with "being shitty and shaming the mom for her choices" and that's the exact opposite of what I was looking for, so that's a bummer. The best laid plans right?

Rants- I want my body back. Also some nesting would be welcomed here, cause I have no ambition to do anything.
Raves- my husband will be home to stay in 5 more days. He's been gone a long time and it will be nice to have some help this evening with the older kids.

Absolutely no appetite. I couldn't care if I ate or didn't eat, not much looks that good. When I do eat I get heartburn. Feels like 1st tri all over except I am also a hippo.

Yes and no. I feel nervous about delivery. I hate hospitals, IV's, catheders and all the poking and prodding that comes with having a baby. I don't feel nervous about the baby itself but I do wonder how I am going to manage having 3 kids and 2 hands.

Rant: I have a head cold that I caught from DD, so I'll randomly get the feeling of an ice pick in my eye socket, or my cheeks are stuffed with cotton.
Rave: Baby boy is confirmed head down, so now we wait for dilation. I've been talking 3/4 mile walks at lunch, so hoping that will help speed things along!

Perfect world, I'm hoping to make it to the week of my EDD of 10/16 so I can take off work until January. So nerves about that too, I suppose.

What size is baby? acorn squash but he is measuring larger then the bump measurements and he def feels huge
Upcoming appointments? Oct 3rd- my regular OB and MFM for NST and ultrasound
Rants/Raves/Questions? I have some questions about my MRI results- just relating to surgery and having a very thinned out uterus where my c section scar is- don't know if that makes me a higher risk to have to have my uterus removed during my c section.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I am eating out of boredom but I am not hungry for anything. Regular stuff- uncomfortable, not sleeping, just ready to be over. I don't know how I birthed an 8lb baby before...this pregnancy has just been brutal.

I think I have the advantage of being a STM and I'm pretty open to things that I know I should have done differently the first time around and I know how to be a better advocate for myself and this baby. But I am scared of my first baby feeling sad, I am scared of my surgery, I am scared because all babies are different and I am scared that everything I learned with DS1 will go right out the window!
@scostel2 have you talked to your OB about the possibility of the NICU? According to the NICU team at my hospital (a Boston Hospital), they will do a 24 watch on a baby born at 35 weeks even if things are good. But after 35 weeks you don't necessary need a NICU stay and a lot of babies get to go home with mom.
You're 37 weeks now, so your babe should be in good shape...so even if you don't stay pregnant full term, you're still almost there!
I get it though, I am delivering at 37 weeks and while I am so sick of being pregnant the thought of a NICU stay scares me as well.

Just had one today. She confirmed that baby is definitely dropped and head down. I'm 1.5cm dilated and 70% effaced. Can't help but be a tiny bit disappointed since last time I was checked (36+4) I was 1 cm and 40%. I know it doesn't mean anything but I was hoping to have made more progress already!

I feel like I'm ready for baby to get here, and it's so hard knowing that he could get here tomorrow or it could be another two weeks. Really hoping he comes on his due date somehow because that would be perfect!

I was nervous on Saturday when I was having more BH than usual because I had a lot of cleaning and organizing to do on Sunday, I wasn't ready for him to come yet! Now everything's ready and I'm just being a neat freak until he comes

Rants/Raves/Questions? Apparently it's been SUPER busy at my hospital lately so I'm just hoping my surgery tomorrow doesn't get bumped. I'm first on the list, but if an emergency C-section needs to happen, obviously they will take precedence. I'm supposed to call tonight to find out what time to go in tomorrow morning. However, I have a feeling it will be a wait-and-see game. Just hoping we don't go to the hospital at 6am and end up waiting all day!!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Not sleeping at all!!! And I KNOW I won't sleep tonight knowing that baby will be here tomorrow... Still have this nagging cough and runny nose. I was hoping to be over this crap before baby got here

Mine are pretty much almost the same as @serenaxo84...worried that I don't remember all the "baby" stuff, nervous about my C-section & tubal, worried I'm going to totally suffer from mom guilt and not spend enough time separately with my kids. But at the same time, I am sooooo over this pregnancy that it trumps the nerves. Plus, I know how excited we all are to meet this baby - will be totally worth it!!
But i do feel a little better about making the choice myself. I think I might end up being sadder if they end up having to do a hysterectomy during my c section.
