I stopped pumping 4-5 weeks ago, I just found a knotty lump deep in my left breast. Is it normal to sometimes have lumps after weaning/stop pumping? Like a major clogged duct that just doesn't go away?
I stopped pumping about 3-4 weeks ago, and had a clogged duct about a week after stopping in each breast, but it was noticeable on the outside - bright red mark and sore. After I unclogged those, I haven't noticed anything since.
It might be worth getting it checked out at the doc just to be on the safe side; I always like to play it safe and be reassured that everything is ok and I'm just freaking out for no reason!
