*trigger* when did you get BFP on HPT?

for those of you that tested before your beta, when did you get your BFP on a HPT?

I was shocked to just get one at 5dp5dt (last time it was very faint at 7dp5dt) so just got me wondering what is normal.

My previous was ectopic, so I'm hoping seeing it early it a good sign :)

Me: 42 | DH: 39 | Us: Married since April 2014 | TCC 20 months before IVF

Me: unexplained infertility (AMA?) | DH: No issues

1st IVF cycle with ICSI & PGS | ER 1/21/16  | FET  4/26/16, ectopic

2nd FET 09/20/16 | DS born May 2017

3rd FET 09/14/20

    I tested daily with my last FET and saw my first BFP 5dp5dt.

    TTC since Jan 2013, interruptions by DH deployments
    Diagnosis: unexplained 
    April 2015, Clomid + gonal f, natural, BFN
    Oct 8 2015, Clomid + brevelle, too many follis (10!)- cancelled
    Nov 18 2015, Follistem + Ovidrel + Progesterone, 1 folli, IUI #1 on 12/11, BFN
    Dec 24 2015, Follistem + Ovidrel + Progesterone, 1 folli, IUI #2 on 1/15, BFN
    Jan 29 2016, Follistem + Ovidrel + Progesterone, 2 follis, IUI #3 on 2/11, BFN
    March 2016, Follistem + Ovidrel + Progesterone, 2 follis, BD at home this time,BFN
    IVF: Stim's start 4/23, ER May 4th, 8 embabies frozen
    FET #1 5/31/16, transferred 1 embryo- BFP: Beta 6/8/16 111, Beta 6/14/16 1800....m/c, d&c 7/15/16
    FET #2 9/21/16, transferred 1 embryo......BFP!!: Beta 10/1/16 493, Beta 10/3/16 1155
    SINGLETON- EDD June 9th, 2016

    Did you use an HCG trigger? Did you make sure it was out of your system before the day you tested?

    @AandDM2014 I had not used an HCG trigger and started testing 3dp5dt... BFP on 5dp5dt and darkened each day. I'm not testing this time around! It's tough to hold out when I know I got such quick results last time. :)

    @Tusername looks like your FET was just a day after mine - when does your RE schedule your beta? mine waits the full 2 weeks so it's 10/4 for me. FX!

    @MEID17011 My clinic does a 10 day wait so my beta is on Saturday the 1st! FX for us both :-)

    alexiskiriluk I'm trying not to obsessively test since I know it's really the beta levels that count!
