AW: tingling in hands?

Anyone dealing with tingling in their hands? I know it can be common, carpel tunnel and such. But at only 7+3, I'm trying to decide if it's pregnancy related...or if I should mention it to my dads neurologist. (He's putting together a medical study of my family. There's a lot of neurological issues). Of course, I'll talk to my doctor. But I'm not going to waste their time to call the after hours line with such a (potentially) silly question.

Re: AW: tingling in hands?

  • I wouldn't call after hours simply because there is no emergency here. I get tendonitis during pregnancy and have already noticed ligaments loosening although I haven't actually had any pain. I would mention it to the neurologist if you think there could be a relation and definitely to your doctor on your next visit.

  • I had carpal tunnel last time around starting at 4 months where I had to get a shot bcause I couldn't feel my right hand. I'm already experiencing light symptoms now at 6+2. Definitely get it checked out but I wouldn't worry about anything more serious just yet.

  • I got carpel tunnel with my first at around 6 months. With DS2 I had tingling in the first trimester and thought I was getting carpel tunnel again really soon. However, it only lasted off and on for about 2 weeks then it went away.
