Insomnia, heartburn and feeling the baby move a lot more!
Rant/Rave/Questions? the condo above ours caused a leak into our son's room last night, it was a mess. Thankfully he wasn't wet but I had to bring him into our bed and he wouldn't stop moving all night. Needless to say, I'm exhausted this morning. GTKY: What was your favorite Disney movie growing up? Probably a tie between Beauty & the Beast and The Little Mermaid.

Symptom changes? lately I've been feeling pretty good. (Lately)
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm still excited from my US this past Tuesday! it's fun thinking about all the details the tech was telling me. However she said the baby weighs 12 oz and that a couple ounces bigger than what most website say so I'm hoping my baby isn't going to be a whopper, I really was planning on a med free birth. Lol
GTKY: What was your favorite Disney movie growing up? I loved all of them!!! When I was super young I also alternated between beauty and the beast and little mermaid. I think little mermaid probably won though. I always wanted a prince Eric!! As I got a little older I liked the sword in the stone and the jungle book too. I was so mad every time mowgli left for the girl! Haha
Fun note about a Disney movie. I've seen Bambi (or part of it) 1 time. I don't even remember watching it. My mom said I was 3. Growing up she wouldn't even keep the tape (tape, lol) in the house. And it was a strict rule I was NOT aloud to watch it EVER. So finally as a teen I asked her why not, because everyone has seen it. She said that when Bambi's mother got shot I cried about it for hours!! She said she turned it off and said I was never aloud to watch it again. And I still haven't lol
When is your next appointment? Yesterday I had a check up and then was sent to L&D for fluids and meds. Next appointment is my anatomy scan Oct. 6
Symptom changes? I am just not doing a great job taking care of me, I guess. I was dehydrated, couldn't keep things down and had a two day headache. Blah. Other days I have been feeling much better lately.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I need a nanny, for myself. Just to take care of me, the house and help with the kid stuff. Not much to ask, right?
GTKY: What was your favorite Disney movie growing up? Aladdin and the Little Mermaid here!
Married - 7/29/06 Ben and Maggie - 4/10/09 Mia - 6/16/11 Surprise! due 2/23/17
@kswiger06 Mowgli leaving for the girl always mystified me too. Corniest thing my husband has ever said was during that scene... Me, my then-boyfriend, and roommate were watching that movie in the dorm. I said something about how him leaving the jungle for her made no sense, and he replied that he would leave the jungle for me.
@Lafreeman21 aww but it is sweet, gotta give them credit for trying lol My husband isn't very romantic and isn't a mushy gushy guy, so when he says something cutesy it always sounds cheesy to me, but I take it lol
When I'm on my feet for a while my left leg gets tingly and starts falling asleep. Sounds like that's normal, and doc wasn't concerned.
Rant/Rave/Questions? i'm just so excited we know the sex now. I knew knowing would motivate me to do more work on the house and the baby's room and it's definitely true. I need to work today but just want to be in there getting it ready. We still have a lot of stuff to get out of the room before we can start with the fun stuff. GTKY: What was your favorite Disney movie growing up?
Sleeping Beauty was and still is my #1! I have a weird love for Maleficent (from the original cartoon, NOT the recent live action thing they made) and have since I was little. I might have been a strange kid. I also love Lady and the Tramp.
Is irritability a symptom? Because I have had zero patience lately.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I just want to rave about seeing baby today! It was the coolest thing. We got to see the spine, ribs, brain, skull, stomach, heart, kidneys, hands, feet, arms, legs, moon belly! Baby weighs 11.4 ounces (sidenote: after reading @kswiger06 comment, I checked out the norm for 19 weeks and it's 8.47 ounces! I also felt a kick while watching baby kick/the sonographer felt the kick with her wand, so now I know for sure that the sensations I have been feeling are actually baby kicks. GTKY: What was your favorite Disney movie growing up? Bed Knobs and Broomsticks or the Rescuers Down Under. I also loved Robin Hood and I had a totally weird crush on that cartoon fox - Oo De Lally!
@floatingelephy I totally think irritability is a symptom. I just chaperoned a group of second graders, and although I love kids, I couldn't wait for it to be over. And I loved bed knobs and broomsticks!! I forgot about it but I'm going to get it from the library for my kids to watch (me to watch too lol)
