2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? Just finding the time. My work schedule is unpredictable, but I just need to get better about prioritizing strength training or incorporating it at home into other things I do (like lifting light weights while watching TV).

4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? Mmm it's been a while since I've worked out solo, so I'm not sure - used to be the dance/club pandora station!
1. What are your fitness and/or nutrition goals this week? Generally just healthy eating. As few processed foods and I'm going to try to decrease my carbs as much as possible and increase my protein. Theres some preliminary evidence that low carb/high protein diets can reduce swelling, GD, preeclampsia and generally bad pregnancy things!
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? Generally just being busy. I didn't make any "formal" goals last week but I'm trying REALLY hard to get my 80-100oz of water daily.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions: Does anyone know if there's a way to tell MyFitnessPal that you're pregnant? I just adjusted from weight loss of 2lbs per week to 0.5 (I don't really plan to lose weight but I'm pretty overweight for my height right now and putting "maintain" just seems likeSO many calories.
4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? I listen to TaylorSwift (1989 album), and really bad rap/techno. Also Pandora "2000s Rap/HipHop" is maybe the best ever station if you went to college 2005-2010ish. All the party songs.
1. Staying active. I've been craving lots of veggies, so I've got the healthy eating under control, but my husband and I are currently staying with my parents while we wait to take ppsession of our new house and it has thrown my workout routine off. Only three more weeks here and then I can get back into yoga and zumba.
2. I just need to prioritize my workouts more. I could totally get up early and go for a walk before work but I have no motivation to do so.

4. Depends on my mood, but I generally alternate between really hard rock (disturbed, Korn, etc.) for weight lifting, and Latin pop and hip hop for everything else.
1. What are your fitness and/or nutrition goals this week? Keep up my barre class routine, at least four times a week and eat healthy. I'm trying to eat lots of fruit and veggies and very little processed foods.
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? My husband has been working of town so it's been tougher to get to class, luckily my mom has been willing to help out with watching my son so I can get my work outs in.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising. Whatever they play in my pure barre class is usually good.
I've been keeping it pretty low-key in the fitness department. Just daily walks and I'm hoping I can work up the energy to start a yoga routine again. Yoga makes me happy.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? Oh, I cycle through different types. Lately I've been listening to Amanda Cook.
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? I think getting more fruits/veggies/mixed nuts that can sit around as healthy snacks would help. We're due for a big grocery shopping trip (to get the healthier snacks and ingredients for next weeks meals). SO's schedule sucks right now. When he is home, we haven't made it to a grocery store (we've been tied up doing a lot of things for his mom's wedding). I had an issue with my financial aid, so I can't get the groceries without SO's wallet right now. Lol.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? I don't have one. I don't keep a lot of music on my phone.
I would like to get back into yoga and some strengthening in general but I'm still not sure I can because of the unexplained bleeding I had.
My eating has been pretty great this pregnancy and if anything I have lost weight (but not in an unhealthy way, I don't think.) My eating goal is to try to stay balanced and then eat enough and often enough in order to stave off nausea.

I usually do a workout video at home and have a hulu show going on in the background.
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? I crave horrible food. Sometimes I want to eat a whole bag of chips or box of cereal because I'm bored or hormonal.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? If I'm running or doing tabata, I listen to hip hop workout station on pandora.
1. What are your fitness and/or nutrition goals this week?
Continuing to eat healthier snack options, I'm more of a snacker than three large meals. Excercising 4 days a week minimum even if I can only squeeze in 30 mins of squats/hand weights. I gained 35 lbs with DD1 and 26 lbs with DD2 and I'm almost sure it was less with DD2 because my activity level was much more, so hoping for similar gains this time around.
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week?
My oldest is back into school/gymnastics/swim lessons so I'm trying to find quick and healthy meals for busy nights and time to squeeze in my workout. I have the first trimester exhaustion plus chasing around a 2 year old too so my motivation is lacking!
3. Rants/Raves/Questions: So excited to see so many of you checking in this week to motivate each other!
4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising?
Even if I'm doing a home DVD, I can't stand listening to them talk lol. So I listen to Pandora and switch between Country Hits or Running Radio. Sometimes if I'm trying to squeeze a workout in while my kids are playing I have Disney Princess music to keep them entertained!

4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? I bounce around... Poppy Punk, EDM and Top 40ish stuff.
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? I think I've hit the feeling-crappy peak for first tri. I'm at 8 1/2 weeks. I usually get up at 5 am to workout before the kids are up but I have not been able to do that this week very well. Only ran twice and will probably tomorrow but I'm used to working out 5-6 days/week. I also have been dry heaving during my runs, which is no fun.
4. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to listen to (if anything) while exercising? Fast-paced music although lately I've been doing audio books sometimes.

2) Challenges this week are about the same. It's hard to get up some days but I am still managing to work out 5-6 days a week thanks to a very supportive DH! I did more yoga this week which I think really helped me feel better!
3) it's getting cooler outside so Crossfit workouts are much more tolerable when it's not 90+ outside!
4) I love pop music because it gives me energy!
1. What are your fitness and/or nutrition goals this week?
I've been doing pretty well eating healthy, but I need to get some semblance of a fitness routine going. This spring I was in great shape - I ran my first half marathon in May and another a month later in June because I loved the first so much. But since then I've been running sporadically at best. I'd like to run twice this week (a 2-mile and a 3-mile run) just to give myself some confidence that I can.
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week?
I work long hours, have a long commute, and usually have DS by myself for an hour or two in the evening before DH gets home so it's hard to go running before it gets dark (I have to leave for work by 6:30 so running in the morning is out). But I trained for my half marathons under similar conditions so I know I can do it, I just have to force myself.

Anyone have any great tips for staying motivated to keep exercising when you're exhausted and nauseous?
