hi ladies! hopenyou ate all feeling well! Just wondering if any of you have been measuring ahead? With IVF we know how far along we are, but my little guy is measuring 2 weeks ahead!! Anyone else measuring big?? I'm 30 w 3 d and measuring 32 w 2 d!!! When does the worry stop??
What has your dr said about it? I was measuring a few days ahead last ultrasound but they didn't seem concerned. I would think measuring ahead isn't a bad thing, I would worry if I was behind. Maybe your babe is just big!!?
Me: 28, DH: 30 Married July 2014 DX: Severe MFI- 3 failed IUI's, IVF #1 Egg retrieval June 4th 2016, 5 day transfer- BFP Baby Boy! EDD 2/25/2017. Our sweet miracle Carter Bennett arrived 2/12/2017 6 lbs, 2 oz 19 inches. Surprise BFP!!! Baby Girl due 10/1/2018.
Woah! That is a rather large discrepancy! Do you have GD? It can cause large babies. I'd totally ask your doc what s/he thinks is up if you don't have GD.

I was measuring 21w3d when I was 19w6d. They said that sometimes they are big early on and then they slow down. With you being into your 3rd trimester, you may just have a big baby. As PP said, if you don't have GD then it's probably okay.

Me: 31 DH: 27 TTC since April 2013 Two cancelled IUIs in Aug and Sept '15 due to low motility/count IVF round 1: January 2016 ER: February 17, 2016; 9 retrieved, 7 mature, 7 fertilized Day 5 Blastocysts: 5 BB, 1 AB, all normal from PGS FET date: May 11, '16; transferred 1 AB embryo First beta: May 23, '16: 998!! Second: May 25, '16: 1648 EDD: January 27, 2017
I thought the same thing as @AandDM2014. How is your blood sugar? I failed my first glucose test and barely passed my second, but was not treated for GD. I ended up delivering prematurely at about 35 weeks and had a fairly large baby for that gestational age. My NICU docs suspected I had undiagnosed/untreated GD. I'd definitely ask your doc what they think is up. Best to you.
I haven't had any scans since my anatomy scan at week 20-21 . However , at that scan I was measuring almost two weeks ahead . I'm also getting comments on how big my belly looks - people love mentioning how they think I'm gonna have a big baby . I don't have gestational diabetes so I'm thinking it's just genetics . I have heard though that those ultrasound measurements can be pretty off .. Especially when they use them to estimate weight .

My first measured ahead as well. He was born the day after his due date and weighed 9 lbs! He's as healthy as a horse, so I think measuring big is a good thing! Except for your vagina of course, lol.
