Right before DH and I went to our first IF appointment we bought a little stuffed bear that is holding a stuffed cupcake. So we've taken to calling the baby cupcake because of that.
Me:27 DH: 28 Married May 2012 TTC#1 July 2013 - July 2015 (no success) Again TTC#1: Dec 2015 First RE visit: Feb 2016 BFP: 9/16/16 EDD:5/26/17
My daughter was dubbed Petrie (from the movie Land Before Time) because of an inside joke between me and my husband. We had to carry on the tradition after that, so DS was Little Foot and this one will be either Spike or Ducky.
Nothing for this one yet until I'm further along. Its been labeled as if this one stick around...
We called DD olive. My sister had gotten a birthday card that said happy birthday aunt and inside was a copy of the dating ultrasound. I said that by the time she read the card, it was the size of an olive. It just stuck since when my family started asking how olive was. I was seriously contemplating naming her olivia but hated how popular the name was
Since we're in Italy currently, my parents call it Bambino (Italian for baby). I've been calling it Jelly Bean, but also referring to it by the size. Last week was poppyseed, this week is appleseed.
We've been saying "the baby". We don't have any little nicknames. One hasn't come up. While I was trying to think of a TB username, I came up with tumbleweed from my ecological calendar. The calendar "names" each day, and the day I was pretty sure my period wasn't going to show up was called "tumbleweed". I tested 2 days later, and here I am. I haven't called my baby a tumbleweed out loud though. Lol. But it could be a nickname for now.
Mostly we say "The Baby." We do joke that the baby is a PowerPuff girl because we did IVF, and the PowerPuff girls are made of sugar, spice, everything nice, and chemical x
Married 10 years. 1 DD (5 y/o). Thrilled to be pregnant with LO#2 after almost 3 years of trying: due May 2017
This week we started calling it the blueberry because I read that's what size it is. Up til now we've been calling it "the next one" because my husband is freaking out about having a 3rd and I'm trying not to bug him too much.
I've just been referring to baby as...baby! My hubby is more clever, and this week since we are at the raspberry size stage, his name for baby is raspbaby. Lol
Aj named the baby "Truck" earlier this year. We stuck with it when we lost it and call it that when referring to it.
This time my oldest named a bear she made at build a bear the weekend I found out, "Hope" so that's what she's been calling it and it's caught on. But Aj thinks it should be "Wheel" if it's a boy. Lol...
