Thank you @Hopeful_mom! I'm sorry you got converted to IUI and only 1 follie. But those are stellar numbers. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and hoping this is the one. ((Hugs!))

@JAH87 that's good your hubby lets you cry it out. Mine does, too. Sometimes you don't want any words of encouragement, you just want to cry.
AFM, DH is going with me this Friday to see how my follicles are measuring, and if all is good we'll do either an IUI or a HTI (is that the right abbreviation for Home Timed Intercourse?) Right now I have a giant freezer pack in my fridge for one shot of Ovidril and I'm so ready to use it!
@lulumurph Good luck at your u/s! I hope they're growing well. For IUI I've only taken the morning off--and that's only because my office is first-come first served so an IUI could be anytime from 8:00am-11am. I don't think most REs require you to take lots of time to rest after IUI.
@hopeful_mom I'm sorry you had to convert to IUI, but glad to hear that was at least an option and that you had great numbers. FX!
@LuluMurph my IUIs have both been in the morning and I went to work right after. My RE said to resume life as normal unless I had any discomfort, specifically with exercising (running, jumping), but that would be more related to any ovulation pain and the ovaries just being "full" after the meds.

Sorry to hear about everyone's BFNs -- I hope you are all holding up okay, taking care of yourselves, and treating yourselves to something special.
I also apologize for being so absent. I think the weight of the last BFN didn't hit me until we began this next cycle. I have felt so defeated I think I retreated into my turtle shell. We met with our RE about IVF -- something we really don't want to consider for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is financial. It was stressful. We are continuing on with IUIs for now although this is the last one (they'll only cover three in my lifetime!) my current insurance plan will cover.
I took clomid last week and was supposed to go for an U/S Monday morning... as we were walking out the door I leaned down to grab my purse and threw my back out!! Excruciating! While I'm still recovering, I made it for an ultrasound this morning and was shocked to have a follicle ready -- 19.5. Triggering tonight and back to back iuis tomorrow and Friday. I have never responded this quickly -- so I am hoping it's a good sign. FX for all of us who are still in this month.
Me: 30 DH: 29 Married 2010 TTC since September 2015 PCOS
Hi everyone! I am so sorry to see so many BFNs, and poor counts! I am thinking October will be our month!! Good luck to the couple who are just getting their IUIs in the next few days.
After the US showed nothing happened, labs were drawn and apparently nothing was happening there either. So I started clomid on CD 18 but I suppose if my hormones weren't doing anything..CD really doesn't matter at all. Take my last dose of clomid tomorrow and scan on monday hoping to see some big follies!!
Now i I am wondering if I ever had follicles worth anything in my previous IUIs. They never scanned...but I did have an LH surge so I would think I had something?! Too late to know now.
Alright ladies, I gotta be super honest. I've been reading over the IVF boards, and I'm terrified. I don't understand how any of this works, I don't understand all the different things that are being said, and it seems like there are so many scary things that can happen to delay the process. Feeling very overwhelmed, but certain that this round is a BFN. I guess I just needed to vent.

@Isthisthereallife I try to educate myself on IVF, in case that's eventually where life leads us, but I agree that it is really overwhelming to read about. The only thing I keep telling myself is that through all of the IF treatments we've been through so far, the staff at our clinic have been there every step of the way. And never leave me "out in the cold". They always answer my questions happily, no matter how stupid they are. Plus, you have this amazing support group here. Of trustworthy women who can help educate you!
Vent away, @Isthisthereallife ! I totally understand how overwhelming it can be.
My only piece of unsolicited advice is one of the old adages my grandmother used to say, "Don't borrow trouble." I know it's hard to ignore that IVF may be around the corner, but try to take it one step at a time. I have had to do a lot of work on staying present, but have gotten better at it. My theory is that I have enough real trouble, I don't need to imagine more. I am sure that if it comes to that, you will learn what you will need when you need it. I hope I don't sound patronizing because I totally get the fear and the need to look ahead, but want you to believe you've got this. Whatever "this" is - you've got it.

Sorry to hear of all the BFNs this month. AFM, I had 1 mature follicle at 21mm and two others at 12 that might mature so I am triggering tonight for IUI on Monday! The RE said he was a little worried I might have low ovarian reserve due to my low AMH, but everything looked good today at least.

Hi ladies! Checking in from my TWW for IUI #6. Aunt Flo is due today and I have been having some spotting the last couple days and mild cramps. I've felt sure I'm out and I'm just waiting for her to arrive. Already had a good cry about it. But I peed on a stick this morning because I want to drink wine tonight at girls night and there is a faint but definite second line. I'm skeptical that it's real! I'm 14 days past IUI and 16 days past trigger, I wonder if it could somehow still be the trigger shot? I mean I hope it's real so bad but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. My boobs do feel kind of big and sore. Ugh I don't want to be a crazy googling symptom spotter but I kind of am. I've never had a BFP. Also my husband is out of town so I'm doing all this in secret and don't want to tell him yay or nay til he comes back. I will pee on a stick again tomorrow and hope it is darker. More waiting and uncertainty! The suspense!
Also, quick vent: a close friend of mine who knows of my struggles is now pregnant. The crazy thing is that she tried for 2-3 months and insisted on seeing an RE and getting tested because "she just knew something was wrong" then cried to me about some abnormal testing she had and how we were in the same boat (and I was thinking, you aren't in this boat, I've been here for nearly 3 yrs and you have no idea...). Now I heard her news through another friend, that she got pregnant without any medical help. She hasn't told me herself yet because I bet she feels ashamed (and to be honest, I think she should be!). Ugh!!
So that's where I'm at. I hope all you ladies are having a good weekend so far!
@lady_grey I'm keeping everthing crossed for you!! Will you call for a beta on Monday?

@lady_grey FX the line gets darker. I understand not wanting to crazy googling all symptoms, I did that with my first iui. #2 I was much better. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
I tested this morning again. I ran out of the wondfo cheapies of course but had a few target brand ones laying around, but it's a blue dye test, and it seems everyone on the internet thinks they aren't reliable! There is a faint 2nd line there. I broke into my stash of digitals (which I should have thought better of) and that was negative . It looks like I just have to wait and keep testing and hoping. I will go out and get some FRERs. I had a bit of (tmi) reddish brown spotting last night too so again thought yup I'm out. Just not sure...
@Isthisthereallife ! I totally understand where you're coming from and going through it and not going through ER (egg retrieval) is a blow to say the least. Its hard BUT they say that the success rate can be greater and that does make you feel a little better. fivetimesnoluck did say it so well and try to believe that! Is it scary YES!! BUT it can be just what you need too. You're young and still have time to gather info and do what you feel is best. Your levels are ok right?? I have low amh so time is not my friend! Feel free to askme anything, im a newbie to it but happy to help if i can!

I have TOTALLY been there for those that have been googling symptoms. After my first IUI I was SO sensitive to every little thing--I will admit the second was a little better (but the fact that I was on a beach was helpful as well). Whenever my next round comes I will definitely be trying to stay as busy as possible! Cleaning, baking, organizing maybe even pick up Call shifts! I feel for everyone during their TWW!
Oh ladies! I simply cannot believe it! I just got a BFP on a first response test at 16 days post IUI. I'm still having spotting and slight weird crampy feelings.
Here are the details: This was my 6th IUI for unexplained infertility, hubby had counts of 13.9 million, and I had two 25mm follies. We've been trying since fall 2013. I thought for sure it wouldn't work and we would move onto ivf this winter. I'm just... Over the moon.
I have no one to share it with because the hubby doesn't get back from his trip til this afternoon! So you are the first people I'm telling . I'm going to call the doctors office when it opens and ask to get a blood test done. I'm still cautious because I know so many things can go wrong but in this moment I will just try to enjoy it...

Hoping today goes by fast.

Thanks everyone! Waiting until today wasn't too bad. When I've gotten a BFN in the past, I always still hold onto hope until AF arrives. So I'm glad to know for sure yes or no today. I just got a text that I have a message on my patient portal which means my results are in. I want to look SOOOOO bad. 5 more hours until I can look with my husband.

Did you take off the day of/after your IUI's?
@hopeful_mom I'm sorry you had to convert to IUI, but glad to hear that was at least an option and that you had great numbers. FX!

AFM, I had 1 mature follicle at 21mm and two others at 12 that might mature so I am triggering tonight for IUI on Monday! The RE said he was a little worried I might have low ovarian reserve due to my low AMH, but everything looked good today at least.

ETA there is no way that can still be your trigger.

RaeV121 sorry thats tough to know, what has ur dr said?
liahay hope ur doing ok and your IUIs went well!!
ashcip so sorry to hear!! its so frustrating, i had 4 follies and didn't bd either so i knew i had no chance, better luck next month, hang int here!!
