i'm making an appointment to go over my bloodwork with my dr next week... but in the meantime i'm googling the results like crazy...well because I am crazy haha
these are my results so far ... i'm 34 years old.... anyone have any idea if these numbers are considered low or abnormal?
TTC #1 Since April 2016 HSG/FSH/AMH/E2/SA all normal DX: unexplained IF spontaneous BFP 01/01/2017- Alexander was born sleeping 04/13/2017 at 19w1d ic/chorio September 2017 HSG #2 & Gonal-F/Femara/Ovidrel/IUI #1 = ep (Salpingectomy of left fallopian tube) spontaneous BFP 01/02/2018 EDD Aug 30th It's a GIRL! Cerclage placed on 03/02 Cerclage removal 08/02
I want to preface this with your doctor will have the best answer as to if the results are good / normal / low / abnormal etc however I understand the urge to Google and you're NOT crazy lol.
According to the sites I am looking at (after googling):
For your Prolactin - looks like you're well under the max for a non-pregnant woman according to the site I found. https://www.healthline.com/health/prolactin About 1/4 from the top - under What are normal results
thanks! I know my RE will be able to tell me for sure... a week just seems so long hahahahaha I'm just trying to get an idea of what I might hear when I go in.... I was having a hard time piecing together all the info.. a lot of it I'm still trying to figure out what it even is or how its important.. my brain just feels overwhelmed .. I'm going to look at all those websites tho and try to put it all together

Just wanted to add about the estradiol - my understanding is that they check it so they can see if the FSH is falsely suppressed (a high estradiol can make a high FSH appear low (or "normal"!) https://www.advancedfertility.com/day3fsh.htm this website says < 80 is best for the estradiol so I'd say you're fine!

Yes it can be hard to figure it all out. That's why doctors get paid the big bucks lol. From what I could tell from the little research I did, it seems like the 2 most important ones were the AMH and FSH followed closely by the Prolactin and the Estradiol and then the TSH coming in 3rd place.

Hahahaha this reminds me of what my RE said the other week, "You can find any answer you're looking for on Google." By which he of course meant if you think there's a problem, you'll find people who agree and vice versa. ;-)
@harleyquinn0621 I'm surprised there wasn't any reference ranges reported with the results; each lab has their own references ranges that they consider normal. Good luck with your continued workup!

It's my understanding that you should also have a progesterone level checked at CD 21, this is a hormonal way of checking that you did, indeed ovulate.

Re: trying to understand my bloodwork...
I want to preface this with your doctor will have the best answer as to if the results are good / normal / low / abnormal etc however I understand the urge to Google and you're NOT crazy lol.
According to the sites I am looking at (after googling):
Your AMH seems to fall right in the middle for women your age.
https://www.ivf1.com/amh-ovarian-reserve/
Look about 1/2 way down
For your ESTRADIOL - I couldn't really find anything
For your FSH level - It seems you're good because the site says "Doctors believe levels higher than 10-15mIU/L may indicate diminished fertility, poor egg health or low ovarian reserve."
https://natural-fertility-info.com/fsh-fertility.html/comment-page-1#levels
3rd bolded section from top
For your Prolactin - looks like you're well under the max for a non-pregnant woman according to the site I found. https://www.healthline.com/health/prolactin
About 1/4 from the top - under What are normal results
As for your TSH each site I looked at gave different answers. According to https://www.livestrong.com/article/188245-what-are-normal-tsh-thyroid-levels/ it seems you're fine. However https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/773055_3 gives a lot more information. It's hard to determine.
