Halloween Costume Ideas!

Thought this would be a fun thread!

Does anyone have any fun costume ideas they'd like to share? Ways to incorporate your pregnancy?

I love costume themes but am not good at coming up with unique ideas. I'd love to find something for pregnant me, DH and DS (he'll be 17 months at Halloween) to wear as a group.

I mentioned this in the Weekend Pregnancy Thread, but I'm thinking of something like this for DH and I. If I find out the gender right before Halloween, I will also use it as a "reveal" and add a pink bow or blue bow tie to the baby skeleton. If we decide to go with this idea, then DS will also have a skeleton costume.

Someone mentioned it in a different thread but I think the pregnant house wife and milk man/post man idea is really cute!

I'm kinda bummed that we will be missing Halloween festivities since we will be out of the country, but FI are super excited for a family costume idea next year!

A few years ago DH and I went to a Halloween party where a couple (wife very pregnant) went as Mary and Joseph. Thought it was creative.

I just googled "Pregnant Halloween costumes" and there are so many cute ideas...if you are massively pregnant. I'll only be 14 weeks at Halloween and probably just a little bump over my normal pudgy stomach.

I'll barely be out of first tri so we probably won't do anything bump related. For trick-or-treating DS is going as Franklin the Turtle so I'll probably try to modify a TMNT costume and be mama.

I'm only gonna be 16 weeks. I'll probably make a completely last minute decision. My coworker and I were going to be a Legends of the Hidden Temple team, but she'll be 22 weeks if I have numbers right, and it's her second child, so she can definitely pull off the pregnant costumes.

Last time around she was Bonnie from Family Guy. Hahaha

I have the skeletal tee with the baby and i'll probably wear that to work and that'll be my pregnancy announcement to my coworkers. As far as Halloween goes, I'm not incorporating my pregnancy into a costume since I'll barely be showing. Instead my 2 1/2yr old and I will be minions and my husband will be Gru

When I was pregnant with DS, my husband and I did the milkman/housewife costume and it was fun! If I can' figure out how to do a picture at some point I will! Not sure what we'll do this year - may just dress DS up and call it good!

@shaunessa I've been wanting to go as the minions for so long! My husband would be a perfect Gru. And all the boys would be the cutest minions. And I can be Gru's love interest from the 2nd movie...blanking on the name right now...

I plan on wearing the skeleton shirt like a few others. I have a Halloween work party that I am hoping to make it to before announcing (although I am not sure I will hold out that long) and thought it would be a fun way to tell my coworkers.

@elplocho that's awesome! I wish I could convince DH do something like this but he cannot not stand Doctor Who, which is insane to me lol.

I was thinking about being a "bad pregnant" lady - like carry a cigarette and a martini glass and have lunch meat coming out of my purse. DH would be an "internet troll"...but he thinks that's too creative and no one will get it/ doesn't want to dress up as a troll. So now I'm thinking of being Winnie the Pooh, my DH would be Christopher Robin, and the dog as Eeyore maybe?
