  11 weeks!

  Brussels sprout or poker chip

  Appointments this week? 

  None, but finally got my NT scan scheduled for next Friday

  Symptoms?

  So happy that my placenta has started kicking in!  Nausea is down, I'm eating meats again, and I have energy to do things.  I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN.

  Rant/Rave/Questions? 

  n/a

  GTKY: What has been your weirdest pregnancy craving so far? 
  I haven't had too many cravings.  There was one day that I would have killed for a raspberry cake, and partner searched for about 45 minutes for one (it was amazing).  Overall I've been leaning towards cinnamon flavored things a lot.

  How big is baby? 

  Plum

  Appointments this week? 

  Had one yesterday - NT ultrasound and first trimester screening bloodwork. Ultrasound looked great and results from bloodwork should be back by next Monday. Baby should have measured 11w6d based on last U/S but measured at 12w3d so looks like he/she is growing well

  Symptoms?

  Nausea still sticking around but hoping it will be gone any day now. Still super tired but I think it's being exacerbated by the fact that I am taking unisom for the nausea. My skin broke out like crazy around 6 weeks but seems to be clearing up now...knock on wood that trend continues.

  Rant/Rave/Questions? 

  I am so eager to have a bump! I know it's going to be a little while longer, since its my first and I'm pretty tall, but I seriously cannot wait to look pregnant. I am visiting my friends/family right around 17 weeks so fingers crossed I have a cute bump by then!

  GTKY: What has been your weirdest pregnancy craving so far? 
  No cravings yet, at this point it's still mainly food aversions. Although I have been having super vivid dreams at night about food! But then I wake up and everything sounds gross again lol. So I'm still surviving on toast and smoothies for now but hopefully these dreams mean I am going to crave food again soon?? lol

  Appointments this week? Tomorrow afternoon!  I have a lot more anxiety this time around and my husband got last minute approval to take off time from work to come to the NT scan with me.  I just want to get this appointment over with so I can figure out next steps.  I feel like I'm in a holding pattern right now.

  
  

  Symptoms? Exhausted, headaches have started, insomnia kicked in early.  Less nauseated, but smells set me off super easy.

  
  

  Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant?  I guess?  I went to my nephew's birthday party and my SIL was asking all kinds of questions about the next baby.  I'm not ready to tell anyone yet so that was awkward.  I hate when people ask.

  
  

  GTKY: What has been your weirdest pregnancy craving so far? Tomatoes.  Just random.  I've especially wanted to eat tomatoes like apples (with a sprinkle of salt).

  We made stewed tomatoes for our pizza last night (we use pureed stewed tomatoes for the sauce, it's amazing).  I used this recipe without the green peppers and it was delicious:

  Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant - I forgot how long it takes to be pregnant!  I can't believe I still have a month of first tri.  I've told almost everyone at work (oops) because I'm been such a crazy grumpy sicky lady.  
  
  Rave - I didn't feel like I had to puke all day and I got through every single one of my lessons without sitting done/stepping out of the classroom!
