Taking Sudafed 32+5

I held off as long as possible, but my sinuses are becoming too much to handle.  I took regular strength Sudafed, but now I feel strange.  Not dizzy, but not 100% stable, and I'm kind of nauseous.  I've taken Sudafed plenty before pregnancy with no reactions.  Any recommendations? Has anyone experienced this?

  • I'd just ask the Dr, especially since you've taken it before without issue. Have you eaten/drank anything that might also speed up your HR and be interacting with the meds? The Dr office would be able to help suss that out.

I took it back in July or August and didn't feel any difference from taking it pre-pregnancy. I know some coworkers said their Dr's wouldn't allow any cold meds and were surprised I was allowed to take it.

  • Sudafed has done that to me before pre-pregnancy. I would try eating something and laying down.
