What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? Since his nursery is done, I'm just buying little things. I bought a Rifle Paper Co Solly Wrap yesterday, since they were 15% off.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Just a lot of back pain, and leg pain when I stretch before I get out of bed in the morning.
When's your next appointment? October 3rd. Glucose test is set for October 18th.
GTKY: What TV show are you binge watching (or regular watching.. haha) at the moment? The Night Of! My husband and I only have 3 episodes left.

Pretty much nothing...I hit a consignment sale last week and stripped my son's old nursery down. But just don't have time for any new baby things this week.

Having some calf pain in the morning, no full fledged cramps yet though. Other than that, just putting along with a lot of wiggly movement!

Right now we're watching Ink Master, and I recorded AHS 6 but haven't watched it yet. Is it October/Walking Dead season yet????

What's new with your little babe this week? How far along are you?
23 weeks. Baby is the size of a grapefruit and apparently growing nipples. She's also still kicking loads- especially in the evening.
Also as you might have seen I don't have an amniotic band. Yayyy!
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival?
We ordered a car seat. Got an absolute steal on Groupon. We don't have a car (driving in London is H*LL) but are legally required to have one to leave the hospital. Given that we won't use it everyday I'm so happy I got a deal on a well reviewed car seat with a great safety rating!

In the UK you have health visitors who take over health stuff once the baby is born (meaning you don't have to go in for checkups). You get one visit pre baby and mine was right before my doctors appt on Thursday. With me already feeling stressed about that I absolutely lost it (crying not screaming) when she asked about my parents as I had to tell her about my mom's recent death. She's going to come back next month to provide me with some additional support pre birth. I'm a bit afraid I've been put down as a red flag but I do welcome the additional support.

The 28th for my 25 wk midwife appt. It's also when I get my official form qualifying for maternity leave yay.

What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? We haven't done a whole lot. Right now we are finalizing plans to completely remodel our kitchen. We are starting that early next month and hope to have it all done by the end of October. Once that is done, we will focus on his room.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Oh...my....aching....back. I ride a train for 3 hours/5 days a week and it's really becoming painful. I have pain all across my lower back and sometimes down my leg. I'm trying to arrange my schedule with work so I can work from two days a week. I'm just waiting on approval. The doctor said I'm only going to get bigger so this commute isn't likely to get easier.
When's your next appointment? We have a fetal echo ultrasound scheduled for Monday morning and then the glucose test on October 13.
GTKY: What TV show are you binge watching (or regular watching.. haha) at the moment? We LOVE Ray Donovan and we have 3 episodes of The Night Of left. I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy to start up again!
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? DH is supposed to start working on some furniture this weekend. Also making some pot pie to freeze this weekend.

When's your next appointment? MFM 9/21 and OB 9/9. I'm going to get the glucose test order at my OB, so I'm really looking forward to that
GTKY: What TV show are you binge watching (or regular watching.. haha) at the moment? We were regularly watching Game of Thrones (we're way behind) but DS hasn't been going to bed early enough for us to watch lately. So I guess mostly football is what we're watching now...lol.

22Weeks today! His kicks are strong enough to where I can see my stomach move! Last night I just sat on the couch watching it pop. I don't know why but it's just so cute! Because I know that's him just so content to be kicking and punching away! My strong boy

Planning the babyshower with my mom this weekend and my husband and I mostly completed our registry.

Game of Thrones and Gilmore Girls! My husband and I are re-watching GoT to get through our withdrawl while we wait forever for the new seasons. Also Gilmore Girls is releasing new episodes in November! So I'm re-watching all the seasons to prepare.
