Feeling like heart is beating fast, weak, and shortness of breath

Any one else experienced these symptoms?  I am 23 weeks.  The doctor me that I was anemic last week and gave me some iron pills. I mainly experience these symptoms when I stand up for long periods of time.

    My heart has been racing at times.  I just asked my doctor last week about this and she said it's normal.  She said your body has 50% more blood in it right now and the heart sometimes has to work harder to keep it all moving.

    ah, pregnancy.

    I've been getting this for awhile, my doctor says it's normal.

    but if you're concerned, ask your doctor!

    This happened to me most of my second tri.  My doctor said she'd only have been worried if my blood pressure was off.  It wasn't, so no big deal.  May want to have them check your BP if you are really worried.

    I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago for these symptoms and he checked my BP and a couple other things and told me there is nothing wrong with me! Sometimes this just happens to p regnant women for no reason! Joy!

    I've been feeling like this too. Its awful. Just one of those things you have to deal with.

    Make sure you take your iron pills - it will take a couple of weeks to treat the anemia, but that can make you feel weak and short of breath. ?Also, eat well and drink lots of water (I know, stuff you're supposed to do anyway, but it might help keep your blood pressure in a good range).
